I agree with everyone. Don't get down on yourself. Stuff happens. Be glad that you don't like the analogs and you don't want them and want to get back to the vaping. That's a great sign!

And it could be, elem187. I didn't mean to argue with you. I liked the idea and that's why I checked the voltage, but it could still be something like that. If a different charger gives your batteries longer life, that's great! And I'd be willing to try it. I'd be willing to try just about anything to get these batteries to last longer. All this time I've thought it couldn't be the charger because they were charging. The charge just wasn't lasting. I'd be willing to get a different charger and see what happens. Where did you get yours? And thanks for bringing the subject up.

Congrats on getting your gifts!!! Yep, that's how I felt about the difference between my 801 and the 510. The 510 has been my favorite ever since I got it. I even like the 510 atty on my VP2. But...I like the LB bridge 801 on my VP/PT better. Just my opinion.

I think Jeso said he rebuilt it. There was a problem with the spring, but he said it was still draining the batteries, so he took it apart and found something wrong with a wire. But from the minute I got it back, it was the same thing. He wondered if I was just a heavy vaper and I've wondered that, too. But that still doesn't explain why the spade batteries only last as long for me as the regular batteries. It doesn't make any sense. I've tried vaping with it non-stop and then I only get about 45 minutes, max, out of them. I've really thought it was just me being, well...a complainer, but it does sound like some others have had the same problem. I've read about how some almost always have the spade in their hands and are very heavy vapers and get the 4 or 5 hours out of it - makes me a bit jealous and I can't help wondering why I don't. I've pretty much just chalked it up to a loss for me and I'm looking for something else.

That's the way mine have been since I got them. I thought something might be wrong with the unit, so I sent it back to be fixed. But it's still the same as it was. So I thought it has to be the batteries - even though I have 4 of them. I ordered more from another place, but they aren't here yet. Then after reading about the chargers, I wondered if the charger wasn't working on these batteries. We do have a meter and I checked them. They came out at 4.2v, so the charger is charging them. But those batteries do not last any longer than the regular batteries, or even less. I am disappointed because the reason I bought the spade was for the longer battery life. I was told they would last 5 to 6 hours. That's what I wanted. But I've never gotten even close to that. I wouldn't have spent the $100. to have the same battery life as I had. It is not because I am a heavy vaper or my regular batteries wouldn't last the same amount of time - or longer. Don't get me wrong, I love the spade - just not the battery life. It seems like the spade is draining the battery all the time - whether I'm using it or not. I don't understand that. But, I do have the new batteries coming, so I'm really hoping they work better and that it has been the batteries all along. I'd really like to be able to use the spade, but I don't even bother any more. The batteries don't last long enough for me to take it on the road when I don't have a way to charge them, so I use my original batteries or a passthru. I do take my VP2, too, but it's heavier and more obvious. I guess I'm still nervous about being seen using it in public. That's just me. I'm more comfortable with the smaller, more easily concealed units in public.

I didn't think it was my charger because the batteries for the VP2 charge just fine. But after reading this, I wondered, so I checked my Spade batteries and they show a full charge - actually more than the 3.7v so I guess it's not the charger. I wish it was. But, I thought it was the batteries and ordered more. Now I don't think it's batteries, so I have more batteries coming that probably won't work any better. Yep, that's my luck.

Yes, wpw36, I'm sure you can. I use the empty carts when I direct drip. Shouldn't be a problem. I don't know all there is to know about all the different units, but I haven't heard of one you couldn't do that with. Try it and see.

Well, if you're from Hastings, then you might have heard of this town. I'm in Broken Bow. Most people have never heard of it (and some of us that live here wish we'd never heard of it), so I don't bother saying the name, just approximately where it is.

I can't say that I "wanted" to cut back, Dave. I just ordered some lower levels, did fine and figured I'd try a bit lower the next time. It was easy for me, so I went lower again. I'm just going slowly and I'm not worried about it. Right now I'm cutting the 6mg to 3mg. So far, so good. If I need or have to, I'll just go back to the 6mg. But I've been using the 3mg for a few days now and I'm good. I have quite a bit of juice to use, so will probably stay at this level for awhile longer and then start cutting back to 2 or under. I've also been doing 0mg part of the time and do okay there. For awhile. I figure if I get it down to 0 and still have some nic juice left, I can add a drop or two of it to the 0 and use it all up. I doubt the nic level would be very much by then and yet I could use up the juice I have left without feeling like I was wasting it. But I don't know why I started doing this. It wasn't on purpose to begin with. It is now. Now I just want to prove to myself that I can.

It's true. We all have our favorites. I've been in love with the 510 atty. I use it on my VP2 and didn't think the LB 801 was nearly as good on it. Then I got the VP/PT and I like the LB 801 on it better than the 510.

I'm in a little town in the middle of the state - about exactly in the center. We're about 3 hours east and north of Lincoln. I was born and raised in Lincoln.

I can feel your pain. Although, I don't get a bad taste to the juice - just not much of a taste at all. I would love to be able to taste all the things that everyone else tastes, but I don't let it bother me. Not yet. I'm at least vaping and not smoking. That's what keeps me going. I didn't get much of a taste with the analogs either, so it's not a lot different to me. I don't know why you'd all of a sudden quit tasting the juice. That's really sad. Maybe you're getting a cold and your sinuses are plugging up a bit? That would affect taste. And it could make things taste different. I have heard others say that putting a drop of menthol in with their juice gives it a little kick. Maybe that would help you for awhile. Or try adding some flavor drops to up the strength of the flavor. I wouldn't give up though. Even if it's not as good right now as it was, it could get better again. If you give it a chance. Just keep thinking of all the benefits you've had as a result of vaping and how many more benefits you'll experience if you keep vaping.

I think the 24 mg juice would be a good start. And when you order from Arno, he gives you a free sample of juice with every kit. Just put in a separate order for each kit. The samples are 18 mg, so you'll end up being able to try that strength, too. And you can pick your sample flavor, so you could pick the fruity ones for that. Also, for very bottle of juice you order, he gives a sample, too. So if you are getting 6 bottles of juice, you'll get 6 samples. Just be sure to order each bottle separately. You can get them all on the same order, just do them one at a time on the order. I think you've got everything there you would need. You might want to consider a passthrough since you said you are at your computer a lot. They help you save on your batteries. And I would recommend the mega batteries later. Good luck. So far I've just been mixing a little bit of extra flavor into my juices. I just put a little bit of juice in a 3ml bottle, add a few drops of flavor, shake, and sample. I haven't kept any records because I'm just trying to get some flavor right now. I am about to place an order for flavors and some PG because I'm close to doing 0 nic all the time.
