  1. Well, Dave, what can I say? I'm sorry you had such a rough start to your day. But I sure am glad you have such a great sense of humor. But really, you haven't thought about a shed for you supplies yet? LOL I loved that one, too!! I've already filled up my little plastic tote (about the same size as a small tool box) and now have more juice making supplies on the way and I'm wondering what to do with them.
  2. Nice bag. I've looked for something like that, but haven't found one.
  3. I have got to keep up with these conversations a bit better. I just found one I missed before and put some questions on it, not I see there is more to this one than the last time I looked. I'm behind. @jj - I tried the Lorann's and they didn't work for me. I went through several bottles of different kinds, but nothing had much flavor for me. And I didn't use just a few drops. I ended up using the whole bottle. Isn't it amazing how different we all are in what we can taste? @michelle - I wouldn't mind the variety part either, but at this point, I'd be happy with just a few I could taste and switch back and forth between. lol Actually, I can taste the ones I have from Tasty Vapor and could just stick to those, but I want to make my own and have it be even cheaper than those are. I only have one of their flavors that I really love. The rest are okay and a lot of them I don't even want to try. That's just me and my odd likes and dislikes. I just ordered a bubble gum flavor from ecigsupply that I can taste, too. It's good, but very faint. So, I ordered bubble gum from TP, too. But, I'm really exited about trying the Juicy Fruit flavor!! Thanks so much for answering questions on these flavorings and telling us what you're doing. It's going to be a big help once my flavors get here. I have the PG and the VG already.
  4. I don't know how I missed this post, but I sure don't remember reading it before this morning. Since it goes with the other post I've been participating in, I wanted to jump in here. Both go together anyway. LOL Michelle, you said that TP flavors are too sweet. I only ordered those and not the Faeries. You think it's really necessary? I suppose I should go ahead and order some FF then, but I'm not completely sure what you mean by how much of them you use. You said 20%...do you mean 20% flavoring to however much VG you are using? Like 80% VG to 20% FF. And then add 1 or 2 drops of TP? I didn't sit down and do the math, but doesn't that make the juice fairly pricey? Just off the top of my head, 20% seems like a lot where 1 or 2 drops doesn't. FF are $4. for 2 oz. and 2 oz. isn't a lot. But then I never learned metrics and have a tough time with that. I've been using ml for ejuic, so I don't know how that compares to the oz. I guess I should have done some looking before posting, but I'm just to anxious to get these answers. I'm so excited about the possibilty of tasting what I'm vaping. LOL And do you not use FF when you use the TP Juicy Fruit. I ordered Juicy Fruit and I'm excited to try it. I did use Lorann's flavoring and did use massive amounts and never got any more than a slight taste to them. I'm sure it's because of needing the stronger flavors like you and Dave. Or, I'm really hoping that's the case. I placed an order with Cappella's, too. Have you ever ordered from them? I wasn't sure if I should do that or not, but those flavoring can be used in food and I figured if I can't taste the vapor with them, I could still use them to flavor things to eat. lol Hey, I try to be as thrifty as I can. Sorry if I'm being a pain with these questions. I want to do this mixing thing right and not waste any more than I have to.
  5. Ahhh.. I was wondering, just a little bit, about that delay. Just seemed, oh, I don't know, sort of...odd. LOL
  6. Oh, me too, FTJoe!! Every single way I tried to quit, all I could think of was cigarettes. All the time. If I smelled someone else smoking, I'd try to breathe in really deep, trying to get just a bit of smoke. This was the only thing I ever did that I didn't crave analogs. It's great!!!
  7. I can honestly say that there has been nothing - and I mean absolutely nothing - that has in any way, shape or form, made me nor triggered an urge in me, to want an analog. My highest hopes are that it never, ever happens.
  8. I really like the PT's. I'm sure you will, too. It's nice to never have to worry about batteries. If you get an adapter, you can use it in the car, too. That's nice. But...the cord can get in the way sometimes, so it can also be a bit of a pain. It can take some getting used to. Worth it, I think. Let us know what you think of it once it gets to you, okay?
  9. Congratulations Vacker!!! That is one great big impressive milestone! I know what you mean about the expenses in the beginning. I'm still at that point, but I'm looking forward to being able to say how much I saved later. Thanks for sharing that with us. It gives all of us even more to look forward to. And also, you are 100% right about the real savings being the health benefits. Here's to wishing you the best in your second year of being smoke free.
  10. I haven't tried one, but have thought about it. I really like the looks of them and I remember wanting to try the stick after seeing one of your reviews quite awhile ago. But then some of the people here talked me out of it because of the problems they were having with them and said that it was hard to get one that worked. I wondered if they'd fixed the problems, too, but haven't heard much. I'm still waiting to hear more about them.
  11. Absolutely DayVape. I am the same way. I smoked for 34 years! I didn't go into it with the thought of cutting down on the nic at all. It just sort of happened as I ordered juice. When I was doing fine on the 24 I didn't see any reason to order more of the 36. And it just went on as I ran out of juice. It was anything planned until later. I realized that if I got all the nic out of body, that would be good. Then if they outlaw the ecig, I wouldn't have withdrawal symptoms and would be fine and not resort back to analogs. But the nic itself has never been a problem with me and I am more than thrilled to be off analogs. For 99 days!!!! That's amazing for me. I in no way think anyone else SHOULD go down to 0 nic. I'm completely happy for anyone who gets away from the analogs and that's it. No problem. I agree with you completely, FTJoe!
  12. I'm impressed. I really like the long battery life. My VP2 batteries get me anywhere from 8 hrs. (min.) to 12 or 16 hrs. I have gone over 24 hours with them, but never that long. I think you've got a winner there. Of course not everyone is that light of a vaper, but they must be pretty impressive all around for you to be able to do that!
  13. Michelle, So far I haven't noticed that with my attys. I've only started doing this within the last couple of weeks though, so I may not have had time to have it happen. I have not used distilled water either. I started by just using the doublers from Tasty Vapor with their nic juice. I tried different combinations, like chocolate and cherry, cherry and cinnamon, cinnamon and orange, etc. That made different flavors and cut the nic in half. Then I was vaping just the doublers for 0 nic. But I've wanted to try making my own 0 nic mixes, too...thus the orders for flavorings, PG and VG. I also started adding VG to my juices I couldn't taste along with flavorings to try to taste those. My thought was that by adding flavorings, I might be cutting the VG too much and wouldn't get the vapor I need, so that's why I added some VG. Just not a lot. I haven't used just VG and flavors. I thought the VG was too thick for that, so I ordered some PG to thin it down with. The 0 nic "doublers" I have are 50/50 PG and VG. I'm still waiting on the new flavorings, so haven't had the chance to really "make" my own mixes yet. I was really hoping they would be in the mail today, but alas...no. Anyway, I'm still really new at this, so don't have many answers yet. I'm looking forward to really getting into and figuring it all out. Sorry I don't really have an answer for you. Maybe some much wiser than me does though? Anyone?
  14. No, not really. It was the white part of the cart, that is down by the hot part of the atty that melted. I think it's because the VP/PT has so much more power. I'd never melted one before with any other unit. Not even the VP2. And they didn't melt until I plugged the VP/PT into the wall. The melting starting with the first few vapes. I cut the white part back or remove it altogether and now it isn't happening. But I ruined some of them before figuring it out.
  15. Nana, It pleases me to help you, because you have been so helpful here. (I read the old posts here as a lurker). You rock! Well...WOW..Thank you. What a nice compliment. I think I'm speechless.
  16. Thanks Dave. I thought that the ones I had were from him when I ordered my 801 kit back in November, but I've placed so many orders I couldn't be sure. I should have trusted myself and just ordered from him, but I was also getting some more 302's so just ordered the carts there, too. They LOOKED like what I wanted in the pictures, but I guess looks can be deceiving. And I do keep the carts, but I have melted most of what I had and needed to replace them. I'll probably be tossing these new carts, too. As much as that pains me, but I just don't care for the feel of them in my mouth.
  17. I've been watching the news and have seen what some of the weather is like in California. I was looking to see where you are, Uma, but haven't found the post, so I'm writing here to see if you're okay. I haven't seen you post here for a couple of days and I'm a bit concerned. Does anyone know how Uma is?
  18. Details Dave, details!!! I'm ready to hear a rant. LOL Although I am sorry for you. It must have been pretty bad.
  19. Nope, you didn't mislead me. I've been trying some flavors, like Loranns, to add flavor to my e-liquids so I know what they are. No worry there. And I do have a lot of PG and VG. I've been using VG and 0 nic liquid to cut down on the nic level of the liquid I have. I just got an order of PG in yesterday, but haven't used it yet as I'm waiting on the order of flavor I have coming from Cappellas. Of course I just found out last night where I can get PG a whole lot cheaper locally, but at least I know for next time. So, no, there's no problem.
  20. Thanks BirdDog and jeffb. Isn't it amazing that something so simple as tasting a bubble gum flavor can cause such excitement for someone? As silly as it may seem, it does.
  21. Again, thanks Michelle. I took your word for it and just ordered 6 bottles. I've been wanting to taste some of the yummy flavors everyone else does for over 3 months now. I hope this is my answer. I smoked for 34 years and had finally come to the conclusion that I had just about ruined my taste buds. It's strange because I can taste foods, so don't know why I can't taste the juices, but I have hopes for these. The only prepared juices I've been able to taste have been from Tasty Vapors and I really wondered if it was because they were stronger than others. I do like several of their flavors, but there aren't very many of them that I really wanted to try - other than the ones I have already tried. I always loved Juicy Fruit gum, so if I can get the taste with no sugar...that would be fantastic. Now I just have to wait for the order to come in. Too bad I'm not a patient person cause it's gonna seem like a very long wait I think.
  22. The title on this post may sound odd to some of you, but for me, the person who hasn't been able to taste very many juices, it's reason to jump for joy!! I got an order in the mail today from Ecigsupply. I had ordered some 801 carts - more on that in a minute - a couple of attys, and just because I've never given up hope on tasting some kind of juice, someday, I ordered a bottle of their bubble gum flavored juice. I can taste it! Now to be completely honest, it is a very slight taste, but it is a taste. And it is bubble gum. And it is good. I now have hope that I'll be able to taste some juices. I'm working on making mine own, stronger, flavors and I think it may just work. Yeah for me!! About those carts...I got carts with the clove flavor (which by the way I could not taste). The 801 carts I have now have very soft tips - which I absolutely love. The tips on these carts are the hard ones - which I do not love. Okay, so I'm not happy about that and probably won't use them, but does anyone know where I can get some of the soft tips? I think I probably got the ones I have from Arno, but I'm not sure and I don't want to have to order from everyone to find the ones I want. The other thing about these carts is that I really had to push hard to get it onto the atty, but when I went to take it off, I almost couldn't get it off. It was stuck. And stuck good. Has anyone else ever had that problem? But beyond the cart issue...I can taste the bubble gum juice!!!! I should have ordered more.....
  23. Great. Just great. That's what I get for not asking a question first. I just got 4 16 oz. bottles of PG in the mail today. I paid $35. (with shipping) for it and I could have gone to TS and paid $24. for a gallon. Great. Oh well. Now I know where to go next time. Thanks for the info. I really do appreciate it. I'm am so ready to start mixing some flavors. And I would, too, if my flavors would have come today.
  24. Oh, I'm sure you are right about that. But then I think it started the other night in chat. And I've seen it a few times on other posts.
