I'm Starting To Really Hate Computers
nana replied to FTJoe's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
You are so welcome. That's what we're here for...help, listening, venting...whatever. Sorry about the problems. I feel your pain. I'm glad you couldn't hear me giggle - just a little bit though. -
I've noticed that the 'bozos' never seem to go away - they just find new ways to make trouble. I'm getting tired of them saying these are targeted at kids. I've never seen one that targeted kids. And I'm tired of them wanting proof that they are safe. Analogs are not safe and are proven not safe and yet they are still on the market. A lot of stuff on the market is proven not safe, but is still there. And I'm tired of idiots. Okay, I'm pretty much tired of a lot of stuff anymore.

It's nice to know they aren't illegal there. The artical was completely positvie towards vaping, but wasn't negative either. It's good to know the articles are getting printed and bringing the vaping to more of the public.

I always start with just adding a few drops at a time. I have trouble tasting any of them and probably use a lot more flavoring than anyone else would, but I also don't want to use more than I would need to use. Since everyone's taste buds are different, it makes sense to just add a few, try it, then add some more if need be. Then repeat if needed. I'm still just in the experimenting stage myself. Good luck to you with it. It's rather fun.

I've only recently started mixing my own flavors, but before that I was cutting the strength of my juice. I started out by getting ejuice and "doublers" from Tasty Vapors. The doublers are 0 nic in all kinds of flavors. I started out by cutting just a little bit at a time, but I didn't measure. I just "eyeball" it most of the time. If I wanted to go from 24 to 18, I'd fill a small bottle about 2/3 full of the 24mg and then fill the rest of the way with the 0. Or half and half to get it to 12, etc. You can do the same with the VG. I have. I tend to use the 3ml bottles to experiment with. You can just fill one of those half full of nic juice, then fill it the rest of the way with VG and shake. That will get you at half the nic. I'm taking it down even farther than now. It's not exact that way, but I figured it was close enough for me.

AWWWWWWWW!! How adorable.
-
I'd never heard that before. What a cute story. Thanks for sharing it with all of us, jmhester.
-
Congrats!! I'm happy for you that you found the flavor you wanted. That's great. Now be sure and stock up.

I agree with the others. The manual button is the way to go. It's very easy to use and takes no time at all to get used to using. I've never used those liquids, but I know some from this forum have and I'm sure they be on here soon to give you their opinion. Good luck.

Ummmm....colors? At least look at colors? Huh? Yeah. Right. Talk about someone being out to get your money. I think he's in a panic about losing some money to the ecig companies. I'll stick with vaping.

Anyone Know Which Natural Faeries Finest Extracts Work Well?
nana replied to fatalis's topic in DIY e Liquid Discussion
That's fantastic, Mike!! Good for you! I had planned on mixing and vaping and vaping and mixing today. I just did the vaping instead. lol I didn't get a chance to do any mixing, but I'm going to work on it tomorrow. I keep sniffing the Tasty Puff bottles (which probably is too strange and I should quit it) and they smell so good. I'm looking forward to being the next to try my own flavors. -
Brian, you did a super job on that!!!! It looks really great to me. I can't wait to try one, too. I just hope mine looks half that good. I truly am impressed. You should be very proud of yourself. I know I'm proud of you.

I got this in an email and found it so cute and funny, I just had to share. I can see my kids doing this to me. Sounds just like them. LOL MY LIVING WILL. Last night, my kids and I were sitting in the living room and I said to them, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.' They got up, unplugged the Computer, and threw out my wine. They are SO on my s**t list.
-
Yeah, what Vacker said. It sounds like maybe this job will be just perfect for you. I sure hope so.

Someone suggested a shed for their storage area. Just a thought.
-
Yup, that need to update is pretty common. Just something we have to live with, I guess. <big sigh> lol
-
I wish I had done this. I just kept a running total. Then I got scared and didn't want to know any more. lol Not really. I still know the total and could break it down a bit, but not all the way. It would have been cool to have been doing this so we could all compare. But really, so far it looks like a lot of us are about the same. Strange, huh?

Okay, Brian, I understand, but...I'd like to refer you to a show called, "Hoarders".... Now I'm not saying you have this problem, but I want you to be aware that it COULD become a problem and I don't want that to happen to you. You know, I really don't want to turn the show on one of these days and see piles and piles and piles of empty VT juice bottles in every nook and cranny of your house..... Okay, you do know I'm teasing, right? I just had that image pop into my head and I couldn't help myself. LOL

@ Dave - I was laughing so hard I forgot to thank you for the prayers. They are greatly appreciated.
-
Oh Dave, I shouldn't have read this right before going to bed. Now I'm laughing too hard to go to sleep. Good night. Now I'm wondering what kind of dreams I'm going to have. Graduated cylinders, drops, vials, liquids, and...oh never mind....LOL

It sounds like maybe the volcano is very similar to the model I started with. I didn't really have a problem with it - and it did get me off of analogs - but I seemed to have developed a problem with having to try other models, too. So I did. I found that I got a lot more vapor with each one I tried and that made a really big difference to me. I need and want more vapor. The 510 has that. The battery life isn't good, but I just kept one on the charger until I needed to change. It worked okay, but I did want longer battery life.
-
I have a 510 passthrough with the battery. It uses the same battery as the Spade. I've had it since the beginning of November and it's still going. Well, I haven't used it in the last 3 weeks, but up until then it was fine. It's one of my backups backups now.
-
Well, we aren't the only ones. Did you see Brian's picture of his empty juices bottles? LOL
-
Brian? Ummm, are you going to start a collection of your empties now? LOL
-
Yeah, but I usually welcome people a lot sooner. Yep, that sounds like a good start. It should keep you going for quite awhile. And a car charger is a nice thing to have. Or you could get a 510 passthrough and an adapter to use it in the car and then you don't have to worry about batteries. And yes, I'm sure you'll have that list. Very soon. Ummm, did we forget to tell you how addictive this vaping thing is? Oops. And an awful lot of us seem to have a collection going. Some have even posted pics of their collections.
