  1. There you go, Brian, being clever again. Great idea. Now you don't have to spend $15. on those metal carts. You can buy more juice instead!!! I may have to give this a try. I better check my supply of carts first.
  2. LMAO - No....you must have gotten hold of my numbers somehow. LOL But you know what? I don't mind sharing.
  3. I don't know a lot about that battery stuff, but first of all they would have to fit into the Spade. I never tried a different battery with mine. But I didn't try our battery charger with the batteries and they didn't fit. I may buy a different charger though.
  4. @Lee - What is it about them that makes you say "it's not real handy to carry when I'm out and about."? That was part of the reason I ordered one. I thought it would be handy. I thought I might get mine today, but it didn't come.
  5. Thank you. I hadn't heard that yet. That's good for all you eGo lovers out there, huh?
  6. I know the answer!!! You are twins - separated at birth! This eGo thing is sounding really good. Someone should put up a poll and see how many people on this forum own one. It's sounding like a lot of you do. And I keep telling myself that I am not even interested in it - not even a little bit. I don't know if I'm listening to myself though. Isn't that the model that no one about replacement batteries yet?

Oh look, you're clever too, Brian! It even looks cool up side down.
  8. Ummmmm, Dave? I'm so sorry to disappoint you, but I actually bought the winning ticket for the lottery. Of course they won't let me collect until they actually drawn the numbers tonight, but that's just a matter of waiting.
  9. Thanks for that info, profbeard. I'm very interested in knowing what models stand up to the test of time. So many of us here are a lot newer to vaping than that and don't know which ones last. I'd like to get a good, reliable model that would last. I'll look into the screwdriver.
  10. Ahhh, but that would mean no more mystery, no ghost, and no Twilight Zone stuff. Oh well...maybe someone can think up some other fun stuff. hehehehe
  11. Good to know. That's quite a recommendation.
  12. Thanks. It's always good to know the places that give good customer service. I've heard things about these guys before, so they are on my list of places to use. It's a small list so far.
  13. I knew you did, but just had to point that out. And by the way, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! You just hit 1,000 posts. Yeah for Brian!!!!
  14. I did think of mentioning a ghost, TeriJo, but didn't know how you would take it. LOL But since you mentioned the Twilight Zone.... Hmmmmm....maybe it's more of mystery than you know.....OOOOOOOO
  15. Those chargers can be a real pain with the Spade batteries. I had a terrible time at first getting them in there just right. Turning them, wiggling them, etc., makes a big difference. It took awhile sometimes to get the red light. I don't quite as hard of a time now, but it can still take some work. Good luck. I hope that's your problem and not a bad battery.
  16. See, that's what I've been wanting to hear. I need something for on the go, but not in a car. I ended up ordering the 905 (per your recommendation) and was really hoping it would be here today, but it didn't show up. I have looked at the eGo, but want to wait on that on. I've always liked the looks of the Janty Stick/Joy Stick, but keep hearing about problems. I'd like to avoid as many problems as possible.
  17. Welcome. And yes, I always tell everyone, spare parts...spare parts...spare parts. And maybe some backup units and then maybe some back ups for your back ups. But, that might just be me.
  18. I used to use only 2 attys at a time and knew where each came from. I kept the unused separate so I knew where they came from. Now I'm rotating between 4 attys, so I have no idea where each came from. It gets too hard to keep them apart. I guess it's something to think about. I stocked up, so now I have 12 attys, but if a few of them quit that soon, I could be in trouble.
  19. Welcome to the forum and welcome to vaping. You should be able to find just about all the info you'll need somewhere here on the forum, but if you can't find it, just ask. Someone usually knows the answer.
  20. Plus, you used protected batteries, right?
  21. A little bit, Teri, but that's okay. Thanks for the info, Chris. The more of that kind of stuff we all know, the better.
  22. Hmmm, I don't remember mine ever doing that. It blinked when in use because of the cut off, but not all on it's own. Or not that I remember.
  23. That is interesting. You did a great job on the pics, etc.
  24. I don't have an eGo so really can't comment on that other than to say that I haven't heard anything bad about it yet. It sounds like it might be a really good "on the go" model. I do have the VP/PT and love it. But...it isn't portable, so that's something to keep in mind. When I'm sitting at the computer or watching t.v., I love using it. But it is a bit of a hassle to take it from room to room if you're doing other stuff. Just something to think about. I also have a VP2. It's a great model. It's portable, has fantastic battery life, and produces great vapor. It is a bit on the heavy side and isn't as easy to carry around in your pocket as the 510 is. I guess it comes down to what works best for you. You said you do 75% of your vaping at the computer, so the PT might be better for you. At least you don't have to worry about batteries that way. On the other hand, what do you use the other 25% of the time? I know the problem with deciding. That's why I've been through several different models. I'm searching for the perfect model for me. Other than the 510, I can't say that I've found my perfect model yet.
  25. I got 2 hours out of my regular 510 batteries when I first got them. That started to go down slighty to where now I only get about an hour out of them, but they are 3 months old now. I had heard that the mega batteries are about a cart length longer than the regular batteries and last about twice as long (like Brian said) and I'm finding that to be true. I started using the first mega battery last night, used it for 3 1/2 before going to bed and I'm using it this morning. That's nice. So far I'm happy about that. I need to send an email and ask about them though because they seem to have a cut off point like the manual batteries and I don't understand that. I'm not liking that part.
