Mine is about 3 1/2 months old, but is the same way. It wasn't too bad at first, but then it got to the point where it had to be very loose. Now it doesn't work at all. I'd heard about the center post, but I found that the center post in mine is very loose and that is not normal at all. I too thought I was being very careful so as not to tighten it too much and have a problem, but it still happened.

I thought about ordering the 5 pack to save some money, but don't know if I'm brave enough to take the chance.

No problem. Brian is right. I've had my VP2 for 4 months. I do love it and it's great most of the time. But there are just times that I want something small to carry around with me in my pocket, ro something I can hide in my hand, etc. But I have to have that long battery life, too. Besides, I'm all about those backups and if something happens to one, I don't want to be without. When I had to send my VP/PT in for repair and my regular 510 batteries were no good any more...I was just about in a panic. Especially since my VP2 was acting up at the same time. I mean, what if it quit and I had nothing left? Yikes!!! So, I ordered some new regular 510 batteries as backups and also got the eGo for my smaller unit and as a backup.

Nice pictures, Mike. I'm getting very interested in the homemade mods, myself, so anything you are willing to share would be greatly appreciated. My husband just started working on a box mod, but has been checking into making attys, too. So I'm really excited to hear and see what you do with the attys and juice box type.

This is good news. So far both of my eGo batteries are working great, but you never know. I'm going to purchase a couple of extra batteries soon. Gotta have my backups for my backups - even on batteries. I figure I can rotate through all 4 batteries and that way if one gives out, I've still got 3 to rely on. It is good to know they will come through on their warranties though. Thanks for letting us know.

Nice find, Brian. I suppose there will always be those that are opposed to anything that even resembles smoking, but with more good press like this, maybe more people will be willing to live with it. At least we can work towards that with this kind of reporting.

Liquid With Tons Of Vapor And Little Or No Nicotine
nana replied to J0T's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Good one, Snubber. I'm always recommending Tasty Vapor and didn't even think of it this time. I have no idea why. Maybe because I've been doing some of mine own mixing lately? Anyway, they do have some great flavors. -
Liquid With Tons Of Vapor And Little Or No Nicotine
nana replied to J0T's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Just a suggestion, but you could buy some VG and some flavorings of your liking and mix them together. It will be 0 nicotine, but for those in between times like you mentioned, it may just be what you're needing. I do that quite often and find I'm using the 0 nic more than the nic. And I've even cut way back on the nic I do use. -
@ Mark - I know. I had the same reaction at first when I ordered those bottles. I left the site and started looking other places. The problem was, the bottles cost anywhere from 65 cents to a dollar other places, so even with the high shipping at US Plastics, it still came to a lot less than the other places. That's when I decided to pay the shipping. Of course my shipping wasn't that high because I didn't order that many....

I bought an adapter that screws onto the eGo and that will fit into the 510 charger. I got mine from Totally Wicked. It works great. I also have the usb charger to use at my computer or to plug into the adapter in the car.

I ordered 30 of the 3ml bottles and 20 of the 6ml bottles. But they weren't all for me. I really considered buying 100 of each size, but knew I'd never be able to use that many. And since I don't have my shed on wheels yet, I didn't know where to store that many bottles. I wanted some 20ml and 30ml bottles, too, but they don't have that size. And the shipping wasn't terrible. Even counting shipping, the total was a lot less than I could find anywhere else.

I agree with you, Michelle, about the cold and wind. The wind is just howling here this morning. We had several days of below 0 for highs and even and -25 for lows. Which meant windchills of up to -60. That's really cold for here. We've had a lot of snow here, too, but I don't know exactly how much. We'd get 8 to 12 inches or so, then get more a few days later. It really piled up for awhile. We did have a few days with highs in the 40's and 50's though, so that melted a great deal of our snow. Of course that meant a lot of water in our back yard and it was pretty much a swamp for awhile. Which is not fun when you have to go out into it and clean up the dog poop. Otherwise, for the last couple of weeks we're only getting dustings of snow. Not so bad. I like the kind of snow you described, too, but I don't think we've had any of that this year. It's all come with tremendous amounts of wind and cold. Just wanted to let you know I feel your pain. Vent any time. I sure do understand.

Maybe one of these would work for you. http://www.cignot.com/product_p/510-cas-all.htm

I don't know, but you might want to check. It says this on the site: "1 OZ Bottle (30.1ml) $15.00 - Comes in 12mg, 24mg, 36mg and 48mg and are also available in all PG."
-
Just remembered that Johnson Creek has "reduced PG" juice. I think it's more VG than PG, but I'm not absolutely sure about that. You might want to check them out though. http://www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com/

Hey, Brian, you can try Tasty Vapors at http://www.tastyvapor.us/E-Liquid.htm They custom make liquids for you and will do all VG. I'll look through some more for you, but this is one I know of right off the top of my head. Hope it helps.

I think the 3ml bottles are perfect for pockets. Arno has some sample sizes of his juice that come in the 3ml bottles. Or, I just bought a bunch of empty 3ml bottles at http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=25040&catid=750 so you could do that and fill them with whatever juice you wanted. They have a 6ml size, too, that you might like.

Oh, sorry. What I meant was the emoticon. You'd wanted a hug one and there is one on here. So I was just showing it to you.

I like to see people do their research and make up their minds by what they think will work best for them. Good job, Knight! There's a lot to be said for being loyal. Good for you!!

Be sure and follow FTJoe's instructions, too. I didn't think about telling you that. Good thing he was paying attention. I don't know where your picture went.

Welcome to Vapor Talk, 44mag. Glad you had such a good experience. The vaping community does seem to be a pretty good one. You've picked a great forum, too. If you have any questions, you'll find plenty of answers here. And you're sure to meet plenty of nice people, too.

Awwww, Brian...I'm so sorry. I hope they do replace them for you. And I'll add my vote to the silver, pewter, white gold, option thing. I don't like gold either. Although I do have gold on some of my units, I'd replace it in a second with silver.

Okay, when I click on my own banner, it takes me here: http://*Unsafe Link Detected*.com/ Try going there from the link. You have to fill out the information on that page. Good luck.

In your eGo thread you mentioned wanting one of these, so I thought I'd see if this is what you wanted. Here ya go....
