  1. I'm thinking that both Mark and Dave owe us a review on their new toys. What do you think guys? Hmmm? I've got parts for making box mods (from madvapes also), but had never considered a double barrel mod. I'm not sure I like the idea. Yet.
  2. I have to agree...only 2 or 3 cigarettes a day is AMAZING. When I first started vaping, I only had one battery. During the hour or so my battery was charging, I would have an analog. But, I was only having about 5 analogs per day. That was totally incredible for me! I was thrilled. That's when I looked into ecigs more. I was looking for another battery, but found so much more. Anyway, I would have been thrilled if I'd stayed at those 5 cigs a day, but after getting my new units, I never did go back to analogs. I still had one pack of cigs in my closet after 3 months of being smoke free. I finally threw that pack in the trash, but it was hard because I had paid for them. LOL But I knew I'd never smoke them, so.... Anyway, just be glad you are where you are with the smoking v. vaping. More vaping and less smoking is great...even if it stays that way forever. You should just be proud of yourselves for the good you've done for yourselves so far. I wouldn't stress about it either. You never know, if you quit thinking about it, it might just happen that you'll stop the analogs and not even notice for a few days.
  3. I have the eGo (which is the same thing as the tornado) and most of the time I don't notice that my batteries are getting low until the light flashes. Just wanted to let you know that batteries might go all the way down before you know it. So far I am loving my eGo and I don't think I could ask for any better battery life. Well, okay, I could ASK, but I'm very pleased with what I get. I hope you find some flavors you enjoy soon, so you can completely enjoy your new tornado.
  4. I thought it wasn't nice to tease. Now we have to wait some more to know what went on.
  5. CONGRATULATIONS It's a wonderful feeling isn't it?
  6. While Dave is out looking for what he was thinking about, I'll sneak my welcome in here... Welcome to Vapor Talk. Be sure and let us know when you get your kit and what you think of it. And Good Luck!!!
  7. I know they can do what they want, but that just seems so wrong.
  8. Yeah, I think driving is the answer. I wouldn't want to do anything where they might take my stuff away from me. I'd just go nuts!!
  9. Fantastic Gweetus!!! Good news all around. We just can't get enough of this kind of story.
  10. Beautiful country, Uma. But...YIKES!!! You're a lot more gutsy than I am. I promise you I would not try that bridge at all.
  11. Now that's some fast, clever thinking! I probably wouldn't be able to put something together like that, but then that's why I keep collecting backups. Congrats to you for putting a mod together when you needed it most.
  12. Oh Boy!! Do I know how that goes. But I think it's better to wait and think it through...if you can stand to do that. I waited for quite awhile before getting the eGo and I'm glad I did. Except, well...I could have had it sooner. Okay, maybe it doesn't work so well...so never mind. And Thank you, Jeff, for the link.
  13. I saw that yesterday when I was looking at the one his father did. I couldn't quite believe it was really what they said it was, so I went to look. I only watched long enough to know it was and I quit. Because...yes it bothered me, too. Big time.
  14. Thanks for the link. I'd been wondering what people were talking about and was just about to go look when you so generously provided the link. How sweet. Now I know what everyone's talking about. I may have to try the filter. I don't know about the baby j. I really like the 801 on the VP/PT, but don't know how I'd like this way. Besides, I'm very happy with me eGo. But again, thanks for the link.
  15. Good luck and keep us updated on how it's going.
  16. I believe it should read 2.2ohms. I haven't checked any of mine yet, but from what others have said, that's what it should be.
  17. Great review, Dave. Now you've got me wanting one of those attys. <big sigh> Just something else to add to my wish list. Only this one I'll have to wait on until they become available.
  18. I would worry about the number of vapers in the area - like Brian mentioned, you would need to have a large enough community to support the business. But if that's there, I would think it would go over very well. Other than my kids, I don't know anyone else (not counting the good folk here) who vapes. Good idea though. @Brian - I love your idea, too. I'd love to go to that. It would be a very loooooooooooonnnnnnnggg drive for me though. LOL
  19. Looks nice. Good work!!
  20. I agree, Jeff. That's what it sounds like to me, too. But I'm not a lawyer either.
  21. Um, Jeff? Question. It's supposed to leave your lips? Why?
  22. Oddly enough, I had never heard an ad for e-cigs until just about 3 weeks ago. I don't know that I would have even looked into these because of an ad. It took a real person who used them to get my attention. Wow!! What a testament to VT...Brian was saved. LOL I starting vaping before finding VT, but I don't know if it would have saved me if I'd found them first. I saw a video and bought the unit. Then saw another video and bought that unit. All were of Chris and Sean. I just needed some patience to find out which was the best. But at least I got around to it. And that was all because of VT. And I'm still learning things by being here. Except about those pesky batteries....they still have me baffled.
  23. Now that sounds like what I've been looking for! A portable 5v is what I'm needing. Or...maybe just wanting...but nonetheless....I think I may have to add this one to the list. Can't wait to find out which one I need to avoid.
  24. Great job on the video, Dr J. That really looks like a nice unit. Thanks for doing the video.
  25. I get about 6 hours out of my eGo, but have gone as long as 8 hours. I'm still loving it though...it's so much better than the regular hours. 12 hours would be really great, but I'm not complaining.
