Welcome to Vapor Talk, Steve. I don't use distilled water in my mixtures, so don't have any advice for you there. I use VG, PG, or a combination of both. If you have trouble finding them locally, you can order either one of those online. And there are several places you can order flavorings online, too. Good luck with your adventure into vaping.

Congratulations! It works, that's all that matters right now. We always learn from our mistakes, so this is a good thing. Right? I think you're on the right track and you'll soon get it exactly the way you want. Good job!

So true, TeriJo! We've quit smoking without any of the side effects and some of us are at or very near 0 nic without any side effects. Or at the very least, it's been very few and no harmful side effects - if there are any. I've had none whatsoever. Unless you consider the better health thing a side effect. Of course that's a good side effect.

Wow! That's awful Steven. I sure am glad you're feeling better. And thanks for the tip on the carts. I really hadn't given that much thought. I've taken care of the cleaning on the attys and batts, etc., but really hadn't though much about the carts. Good advice. I hope you feel up to posting a whole lot more now.

Thanks Uma. Now I'll have to go take a look. I still have never ordered anything from her. And it's about time to order some new juice. My stock is starting to look low. It's not low, but it looks like it because it's gone done quite a bit in the last two, almost three months, since I last ordered juice.

Welcome to Vapor Talk and congrats on being smoke free!! It's a great feeling, isn't it? And each day you add to the count just makes it all the better. Don't worry about the eGo. You're going to love it!! Battery life is great! And dripping is not a problem. The cone does not interfer at all. It stays in place, but you remove the cart just like you do on the regular ones. The cone is below the cart. I may not have said that just right, but you'll see as soon as you get it. The only time you take the cone off is when you take the atty off. And that's only to charge the battery...in my case anyway. I only use one battery per day, but I also use a passthrough part of the day, so I can't say for sure how long the battery lasts me. Well over six hours of using it alone, I know that for sure. Be sure and let us know what you think when you get the eGo. I think you're gonna fall in love.

As long as we have someone to blame, huh, Uma? LOL The longer the battery life, the better. Even without camping trips.

It bugs me beyond belief that they are saying it's for the kids. I wonder how many kids have the amount of money it takes to get going on vaping? If they wanted to smoke, they'd be much more likely to fork over the money for a pack of smokes, wouldn't they? It bugs me beyond belief that they have badgered us with the "no smoking", have to quit smoking, second hand smoke kills, ban smoking here and ban smoking there, etc, campaigns that they been pushing at us and when we finally find a way to quit smoking that really and truly works...they want to take it away from us. If only they would listen to the people who really know what they are talking about when it comes to vaping. I will write any letters, make any calls, sign any petitions...whatever it takes. Just let me know what to do, where to do it, where to send it, and how loud to get.

What sad news, Brian. Maybe there is an answer out there and someone will come up with some helpful hints to make it all better.

Welcome Peach. Try looking through some of the old posts on here. There are lots of suggestions, hints, and tips. That might help you come up with some questions of your own. We're more than willing to help. That's what we're here for.

I was just getting ready to suggest this one, FTJoe, when I read your post. I'm seriously considering it, too. I'm still checking it out though. I'm not quite sure what all I'd get with it. But I trust Dr. J's opinion and he seems to think it's pretty great. I don't know of anyone else who has one yet.
