  1. I think that was a different President.
  2. This is interesting. These are the same things I look at every time I go to Menard's. I don't have any of them yet because I keep thinking I need bigger stuff. I've even looked at the really big tool boxes...but I don't think I have room for them in my house.
  3. Atomic Fireball from Tasty Vapor is the only one I could taste for a long time, but I recently had some Mr. Bean that I could taste and I loved it. Now it's gone and I'm back to the Atomic Fireball, which I like, but Mr. Bean became my favorite.
  4. Glad you are all safe Tektronik. I wondered about our Oklahoma members when I heard about the tornado's last night. I know what that kind of hail is like. It can be awful. Luckily we've never had that kind of damage, but it's been very close before. Has anyone heard from Brandon yet?
  5. I don't know about anybody else, but I got my eGo at the beginning of February. I'm still using the same two batteries I originally got with it. Since then I bought two tornado batteries, but I'm not exactly sure when I did that. Maybe the beginning of April. Anyway, the eGo batteries were still going strong until a couple of weeks ago. Now they aren't holding a charge as long - only about 4 hours. I do some pretty heavy vaping part of the time so they've had a pretty heavy workout. It's been over 3 months now and they are still working really well, just not holding a charge as long. Nevertheless I am still quite happy with the eGo. And if a person didn't vape as heavy as I do, they might last a whole lot longer than this. In the beginning I only charged batteries once per day. Now I charge each battery a couple of times in a day. Since I haven't had one quit on me yet, I can't give you an exact amount of time they would last, but maybe this info will give you an idea.
  6. I'll throw my opinion in here....I love my eGo!! Although I don't get as many hours out of my eGo batteries as Mark does, they do last a whole lot longer. I always got at least 6 hours out of the batteries, but now (over 3 months of using them) I'm only getting about 4 hours part of them time. I'm not complaining because even 4 hours is a lot better than the 1 to 1 1/2 hours I was getting out of my regular 510. That was in the beginning. After 3 or 4 months I was only getting about 45 minutes out of them. So, I'm still very happy with eGo batteries. The unit as a whole is just a perfect fit in my hand, looks very classy, batteries last a long time, and with the low resistance attys...what a powerhouse of vapor!!!! You just can't go wrong with the eGo. Or Tornado. I have both batteries. As a bonus, if you'd like to try it first, you can order one battery, a cone, and an adapter (from Totally Wicked) and try it before you buy more. That's how I started. I never did get a kit. I ordered a couple of batteries and the adapter (which you have to have to charge the eGo battery on your regular 510 charger) and later got more adapters, the usb charger, and more batteries. It's just a cheaper way to start out or to just give it a try.
  7. Clever. Oh yeah, Kitsune...Vapers Rule
  8. I have two eGo batteries and two tornado batteries. When I charge them through the usb charger on the computer it takes about 2 hours to charge one battery. I also have two regular 510 chargers and a TW 5 battery charger (with the adapters) and when I use any of those it takes at least 4 hours to charge one battery. I've had it take as long as 6 hours to charge. I don't know what the difference would be, but there does seem to be a difference from time to time. I think it's generally closer to the 4 hour mark though. I've never had a battery take under 4 hours to charge on the wall charger. Never. I haven't really timed it, but I think when I charge on the usb charger, the batteries don't last as long as they do when charged on the wall charger. The batteries come with a partial to almost full charge, so that would explain why they didn't take as long to charge the first time.
  9. I use one with my eGo/tornado just like snubber said and it works great for me, too. I love those tips.
  10. Welcome to the Vapor Talk forum. As Brian said, you already got the best of advice. The only other thing I can add is to read a lot of the older posts on here. You'll find a lot of people who bought those "mall" ecigs and find out what they really thought of them. Good luck in whatever you decide. Vaping is the way to go for sure.
  11. Just to clarify, although I would LOVE to own one of the units that Mark makes, I do not have one. So you aren't alone there. Of course the first thing I think of is...backups. Aside from that...one of those log home looking trailers Uma found a picture of - for vaping supplies? But since you said "Nothing too expensive or elaborate...", well... Maybe a tool box or tote or tackle box...something to keep all of your supplies in. I love my drip tips, so if you don't have any of those, they might make your list. I also have one of those 5 battery chargers from TW and I just love that. I got a couple of the adapters so I can charge my eGo/tornado batteries on it, too. A car adapter that you can use your VP/PT in the car with. I have one that doesn't work very well, but I'm going to get one that does, cause I like using my VP/PT in the car. Or chargers for the car so you can charge batteries in the car or for emergencies when the power is off. Someone posted a great charger on here once that I thought about getting, but now I don't know where that was. Sorry. I'll think some more and see if I can come up with something else.
  12. It never hurts to try. I've had attys that lasted 2 months and a couple that only lasted a couple of weeks. I think it's hit and miss when it comes to the quality of most of them.
  13. That's really great news! Thanks for updating us, Tony. We love to hear all those success stories.
  14. Fantastic!!! Thanks for letting us know that good news.
  15. I remember you, too, Patty. Glad to hear from you again. I'm like you in a lot of ways. I smoked for 34 years and the first thing I did when my eyes opened in the morning was grab a cigarette. Now I get up and start my day and it can be an hour or more before I grab my eGo. It's wonderful and amazing. Although I cannot, and probably don't want to, ignore it for weeks at a time - and quite honestly not even days at a time - I can easily go on 0 nic for days and weeks at a time. I had thought I was finished with nic, but then during a very stressful time, went back to some nic. I'm now back to using 0 nic more than I'm using nic, but there is still some nic in there. It's just so easy for me to do that I'll agree with you on your theory. I think I vape more for enjoyment than anything else. And the whole "act" of vaping is very relaxing to me. Good post, Patty! Keep 'em coming.
  16. Welcome back, Dr. J. I'm so happy to hear that all is well. I, too, missed you and was a bit concerned. It wasn't the same without you here.
  17. I have both batteries and yes, the charger will work for both. But neither battery will work on the regular 510 charger without the adapter - which you can get from TW, too. I have a couple of the adapters.

    Hi

Welcome to Vapor Talk. I think you'll be a great asset to this forum. I haven't looked at your site yet, but will immediately. Just want to welcome you first.
  19. I think it has a place there, Brandon. I can remember all the times I ever had to run for the basement (and we never ended up having a tornado as close as you've had) and one of the first things I grabbed on my way down was the cigarettes, lighter, and ashtray. There is no way I could have stayed calm down there without them. I would have been going nuts without them. Same thing will hold true this tornado season - only it will be my PVs that go down with me this time. I've given it a lot of thought and that's why I have so many spare batteries. And keep them charged up, too. It wouldn't just be the time spent in the basement during a warning, but if the power went out or worse we had damage and couldn't get out right away. I'm a firm believer in being as prepared as possible and that would include PV supplies. Well, for me anyway.
  20. Beautifully said, gnerd! I couldn't agree more. I also believe that each forum has the right to do as they please. I have no arguments on the advertising thing at all.
  21. Excellent choice Elem! I love mine, too. And for all the same reasons Jeff said.
  22. I was looking for an article I'd seen that was written by a pharmacist, but it looks like you've found one. I'll quit looking now.
  23. Someone posted on here quite awhile back about this and said that as long as it says USP...it's good. All the same stuff. I have some like you got and it works just fine. I'll see if I can find that post for you.
  24. I know what you mean, Brandon. I'm giving someone one of my 510 units tonight and I'm a bit nervous about it because of the ban. But, on the other hand, the more people who are vaping, the better. The more people we can get to speak up, the more they will have to listen to us. Or, at the very least, we can make a bigger noise about it.
