Thanks for that review. I've always wondered what cheesecake would taste like in vapor. I was just too scared to try it.

The LR attys work good with VG as far as I can tell. NHaler carries drip tips. MadVapes has some on their site but they aren't in stock right now.

What a wonderful thing you want to do! Just another example of the kind people that belong to this forum. There was another post on this subject a few months ago. I thought you might like to read it, so here's the link for it. I'm not sure just pasting it on here will work, but I'm going to give it a try. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/topic/2739-ideas-for-the-blind/page__hl__blind Hey! It worked!

There are a lot of places you can order from online, sensay. And don't worry about the ones you ordered. You may well be able to taste them. I've had a terrible time tasting any of the pre-made juices. There have been one or two I've tasted, but mostly I could only taste the ones from Tasty Vapor. I have to add a lot of strong juice to my mixes to taste them at all. From what I've learned on the forum, that is not typical. Most people can taste the juices. I've heard good things about FF, so I'm sure you're safe with them.

That's a good choice. You'll have to take our word for it, but you'll like it a whole lot better than you would the blu. Let us know what you think when you get it. And don't hesitate to ask any questions you have. And you will have some.

How To Test An E-Cig For Durability. Not
nana replied to StringDancer's topic in General Vaping Discussion
That is amazing!! I'm so glad it still worked. What an awful thing to happen to a wonderful unit though. I do understand that absent-minded thing. I've done the same thing you did without running it over. -
I have no doubt that you will be much more impressed with the 510. It has always been my go to device. I was frustrated with the battery life and moved on to the eGo battery and am now quite happy with the battery life. The eGo battery is a bit wider, but it is a perfect fit in my hand. I just love it! I loved your comment about the light at the end of the tunnel. That's exactly how I felt when I first heard about vaping just over 7 months ago. And it worked for me. I, too, tried several ways to quit and nothing worked or satisfied me until I started vaping. I've been smoke free for just over 7 months now and I'm still loving it. I smoked for 34 years and never would have thought quitting could be so easy, but with this, it is. I quit immediately and had no problems with it, but some people have taken just a little longer. It's all okay. As long as you set you mind to what you want, it will happen sooner or later. You might be surprised how quickly it all comes together. Good luck and keep us updated on how it's going. And don't be shy about asking questions. We all love to answer (or just talk a lot) and we love to help.

I'm vaping Tasty Vapor's Atomic Fireball while I'm drooling over some of the flavors you all have mentioned in this post. I think I need to go back through it and take some notes.

What Is 5 Volt Unit And Why Does It Look Like A Sex Toy?
nana replied to Christopher's topic in General Vaping Discussion
LMAO @ mcquinn Good job, Chris! -
I've never had a Janty stick, but I wouldn't think it was the unit causing you to cough. Some people just seem to go through that when they start vaping. I know my son did, but I never did. There is a learning curve that goes along with vaping. The first thing you need to know is that you should take it slow and easy in the beginning. Don't push yourself too hard. Try not taking a drag like you would with a cigarette...take long, slow drags. Also try to fill your mouth with vapor before inhaling into your lungs. That works for me. And as FTJoe said, it may well be that the nic level is too high for you. Keep asking questions and you'll get plenty of answers and help.

It looks like I'm a bit late on this one, too, but congrats Ouster.

Cignot.com has the eGo now. You might want to check them. They have good prices. The kits comes with regular 510 attys. I have both the tornado batteries and the eGo batteries. I've tried LR attys from three different places now and the TW LR attys have lasted the longest for me. I've used two of them so far and each one has lasted two weeks. They are the only ones I would feel comfortable recommending right now as far as length of life goes. All have been great on vapor production. I also use drip tips and have fallen in love with them. I have the stainless and delrin tips from Super T. I don't know that there would be a lot of difference between them and the ones from other places, but maybe someone else would know for sure. In my humble opinion...combine the eGo/tornado battery with a LR atty and a drip tip and you have an almost perfect vaping machine! I say almost because they might come out with something even better.

No Dave, it never really ends. There are always more backups to buy, new units to try, new juice to try, more spare parts...and on and on and on. Good thing we all enjoy this so much, huh?

Here's A Twist... What Flavors Do You Not Like?
nana replied to Gweetus's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I hated the lemonade flavor I got from Tasty Vapor once. But it's the only one from them so far that I didn't like. It had an almost chemical taste to it - despite the fact that I really don't know what chemicals taste like. It's just what I thought of when I vaped it. -
Welcome bambam. I've never used the blucig, but that's because no one recommended it. Those who have used it didn't like it at all. The best I've heard about it is that at least it got them started on the right path to vaping. I have to agree with the others here...the 510 is the best one to start with and will almost certainly guarantee that you'll have success with switching over to vaping. Good luck with whatever you decide to get and keep us updated on how it's going. We're here if you need any help or have any other questions.

Dave, be sure and tell your son that we are rooting for him. I sure do hope he does better than my kids have.

I think it's an individual thing. Try several different nic levels and several different flavors to find out what works for you. When I started vaping, I counted 10 puffs per cigarette and then tried to vape that many. I got tired of counting and realized I could just vape whenever I wanted and however much I needed. Sometimes I use my PV as a pacifier and hardly ever put it down. Other times I'm no where near it and don't miss it. Sometimes I have to have some nicotine and yet I can go days using 0mg and just vape for the pleasure of it. There are no rules other than doing what makes you happy. Good luck.

Wow!! Some of us thought we had a lot, but maybe not so much. If there is an award for having the most mods, I think you would win hands down. You mentioned several that I haven't even heard of yet.

When my batteries were new I only got about 8 hours out of them. Not that they are older it's more like 4 or 5. If it was ever a shorter time when I used the usb charger, it must not have been enough for me to notice. Nice to know you got that long with the usb charger. That must mean I heard wrong.

Good one, Mark!!!

That's how I started on the eGo, but for someone just starting out that wouldn't work as well. I already had the attys and the charger. I've never seen the adapters anywhere else but TW. Not that someone else doesn't have them, but I haven't noticed them anywhere else. I do highly recommend the adapter so you can charge on the wall charger. I ended up getting the charger from TW that charges 5 of the 510 attys at one. I did that when I was using the regular batteries, but I got two of the adapters so I can charge 2 eGo batteries at once. I do use the usb charger, too, sometimes. If I'm in more of a hurry to charge one up. I got some LR attys from TW. I'm on my second one from them. The first lasted almost 2 weeks and the one I'm using now is right at 2 weeks. I got two from NHaler, but neither of them lasted for me. I had one for 3 days and then the second one only lasted 1 day. Could have been a fluke. I got three of them from MadVapes and have only used one. It didn't last for 24 hours. I don't know if any of those places has any right now though.

Dave.....ummm....razor-sharp dead on? Me? Not quite. I've gone through several units which I purchased on an impulse that didn't work out so well for me. But I found good homes for all of them.
-
Using the wall charger, it takes me anywhere from 4 to 6 hours to charge a battery. Using the usb charger, it takes me 2 hours. I got the usb charger from TW that is made just for the tornado/eGo battery, so I figured it would be fine to use it. I've heard that when you use the usb charger, the charge on the battery doesn't last as long, but I haven't timed that to know for sure.

Sorry to say, but shutting your computer off won't help. Once you've got the bug, it doesn't go away. And if you aren't ordering, you'll probably dream about ordering and then wake up and place the order. Not that I know anything about that, but...I'm just saying....
