Drip tips are the best!! You'll love 'em. Savings? Hmmm. You might actually catch up someday. I know I did. And now I'm saving. But...even if you don't save, consider that you are what you are spending is "investing in your health". Isn't that a great argument for spending?

Thanks Jeff and GDub. I truly appreciate the advice. I wasn't really serious about that many eGo batts. People like teasing me about the backups, so I couldn't help myself. I was curious though because I thought about getting a couple of extras for later and wanted to be sure they would be okay. I'm still using the first batts I got and know they won't last forever. I recently got a couple of new ones and have been using them because I didn't know how they would keep. I do appreciate the info. Just so you know, I'd already figured out the mod thing. I just got a Black Silver Bullet. My main reason for getting it was because of the possibility of a ban and needing something reliable, but I fell in love with that thing. It is awesome! And doesn't seem too bad as a portable unit either.

Thanks Mark! That's what I was needing to know. I really thought that might be the case with the attys. Now I know to check them as soon as I get them to see if they are DOA. I had no idea with the batteries. I want to stock up, but didn't want to have a bunch of batteries that were good when I finally got around to using them. That would kind of defeat the purpose of backups. Thank you. You have a great weekend, too. And if anyone else wants to chime in, go ahead. I need all the info I can get.

It's no secret that I always recommend backups, backups, and more backups...but I need to know something. If I wanted to stock up on the eGo/tornado/Joye batteries, how long will they last? What I mean is, if I bought say 8 or 10 extras, how long could I just hold onto them - without using them? If I had them for 6 months or a year or longer...would they still work? I'm also wondering the same thing about attys. I had 4 attys that I bought back in December and tried to use them this week and only one of them worked. Is that because they were DOA and I didn't know it? Or do they go bad over time when not in use?

I just made some no nic bubble gum...yum!!
-
Brian!! Wasn't you? Are you sure? I think I've heard you say that before. LOL

I went to 0 nic within the first two months of vaping. Mainly just to see if I could. I could. It was easy. But I didn't use my nic juice up first. I use some nic now when I'm feeling stressed or just because I still have some I want to use, but not a lot. I'm having fun mixing up flavors and trying them out. I do that at 0 nic all the time. I have some 12mg Mr. Bean that was made by a friend that is wonderful, but I don't want to use it all up, so only use it sparingly.

Oh yum!! Strawberries and cream sounds absolutely delightful!!! I haven't tried either flavor yet. I think maybe I better give it a try.
-
I have the same opinion as mcquinn on this one. They work good for road trips when I can't drip, but I just haven't been that impressed with them. And it might be for the same reason - really low or 0 nic and vaping a whole lot.

You're young. You'll find the "one".

I've never tried any of the "meat" flavors. I really don't think I'd want to. I haven't been able to taste a lot of the flavors I've tried, so I can't give you very much advice. However, I can taste the juices made by Tasty Vapor and the ones I've tried are very good. I love the Atomic Fireball. I just got their licorice and it's good. Not something I'd want to vape all the time, but it's good. Create Vapor has a good grape. It reminds me of grape jolly rancher candies. I'd love a good banana. I've tried a couple, but couldn't taste them so I don't know if they were good or not.

Yep, me too. I agree with Mark and FTJoe.
-
@FTJoe - My husband and I are going on 26 years, too. His family took bets on how long we'd last. I guess 6 months was about the top bet. Nice, huh? @Dave - We're going to hold you to the promise of the pics.

I've never tried mixing a flavored e-juice with some other flavoring. Good idea. And I just happen to have some RY4 here.....
-
Happy Anniversary to Mr. & Mrs. Larsen!! You do plan on taking pics of all the new tats and putting them on here, right?
-
Absolutely...what he said. I've been comparing the regular ones with the LR ones and there is just no comparison. LR rocks!!
-
Excellent!! Keep all these experts on their toes. Good job, Bigjim.
-
LOL - No, I think I have to pass on your ever so kind offer this time. I'm just not that brave.

Glad you're back on track. And thanks for sharing your story with us. As you may have noticed by now, several of us "preach" the back up thing. Now you know why. You need backups for your backups. And then even more backups. Batteries, chargers, atomizers, juice, pass throughs...the whole lot. We even discussed having generators for when the power goes out. Brian now owns one because of being without power for a couple of days. Car adapters would work, too, as you could at least vape in the car if the power went out. But of course you could use those for road trips, too. There is nothing wrong with being prepared for any and all emergencies.

What a handsome young man you've got there! Congrats again and thanks for sharing the pics.

I've been looking at the TW flavors. Good to hear others are pleased with them. I need to order some LR attys from TW and I think I'll order some flavors, too. Dave, do you have to use a lot of the flavoring in a mix or can use less of these?
-
I don't understand all of that either, John. But I have an eGo and I use LR attys on it. So yes, you can use a LR atty on the eGo. The advantage is that it produces some fantastic vapor. I just love it!!! By using the LR atty, it's like vaping at 5 volts without having a 5 volt unit. It's truly amazing.
