  1. Instead of getting a new charger, you can get an adapter at Totally Wicked for just over $3. The adapter screws onto the regular charger, then the eGo battery screws onto the adapter.
  2. I still want to try this one. I don't have the tobacco or the Lorann's coffee yet. I do have some PA coffee, but don't know that it would be the same. Both flavors are on my list for my next order though. You all have me drooling over this recipe.
  3. I think so. Although I haven't come up with any of them yet. But when I do...
  4. I had trouble tasting pre-made juice (actually still do), so I've been adding flavoring to them. Along the way I started trying different flavors, but only a single flavor at a time. Recently I started mixing flavors and I'm really enjoying it. Haven't found a really great flavor yet, but I'm sure I will. I finally bought some unflavored nic juice and I just placed three different orders of flavorings and now have quite a collection of flavors going. Initial cost seems a bit overwhelming, but these flavors will last quite a long time. I do feel it's well worth it. There are several people here who already do DIY, so there is plenty of help if you need it. I'm thankful to all of them for their expertise and helpful hints.
  5. I know exactly how you feel, Lori. It's great, isn't it? I was ashamed to realize how bad my house and vehicles smelled when I smoked. Now I don't have to worry about that anymore. I quit smoking last October...after I had packed my summer clothes away for the winter. When I got them out this spring, I had to re-wash every single thing because they came out of storage smelling like smoke. LOL Anymore I'm surprised when someone walks past me and smells like smoke. I just grin...knowing that I used to smell that way and don't any more. But I sure don't like the smell.
  6. FreedomSmokeUSA Thin Mint Cookie - it's good, but not strong enough for me, so I'm going to try to add some more flavor to it.
  7. Good one!!! And something to keep in mind. LOL
  8. How cool is that? I'd love to be able to walk into a store and get whatever I needed - and samples to boot!! Wow!! Except I order this and that from several different sites. Oh well, it would still be nice. I'd love to visit at least once, but don't ever see myself heading down there. LOL
  9. Which is why I keep saying that!! LOL Good luck.
  10. There are several kinds of passthroughs. A 510 passthrough with the inline battery will work on the USB port of your computer. A 510 passthrough without an inline battery runs at 5v and doesn't work on all computers. I have a netbook that it will not work on. If you get the 5v type, it would be advisable to get a USB to wall adapter so you can plug the passthrough into the wall. I also have the VP/PT which is a 5v passthrough you use a wall adapter for - which comes with that passthrough. The passthrough with the battery can be used without be plugged in at all. It's charging when it's plugged in, but you can also use it while it's charging. It can be charged with a wall adapter, on the USB port, or with the car adapter. The passthrough without a battery inline can not be used without being plugged in.
  11. I'm vaping a mixture of Lorann's cherry and cinnamon.
  12. Last year, around Thanksgiving, I tried the Pumpkin Pie from Wordup. It was really good. I think they carry it all the time.
  13. Most passthroughs are around $15. Yes, you can get a car adapter to use your passthrough in the car. Be sure to get a 2 amp adapter like the one here: http://www.madvapes.com/USB-Passthroughs_c_17.html This link also has their passthroughs on the same page so you can look at those. I've done some looking and most places are the same price on the passthroughs, but here you can also get the adapter and that would save on some shipping if you get both in the same place. I've ordered quite a bit from here and they have really good service and products.
  14. The vapor from the eGo/tornado will stay consistent. I've had mine since the beginning of February and even though the batteries aren't holding a charge as long now, it's still consistent. The LR attys do not last as long as the regular attys. Some people are saying they last longer than they do for me, but if money is a worry, I wouldn't try them yet. I've had LR attys last me less than a day and you probably don't want to take that chance. Another thing you can try is getting some PG & VG and flavoring and make some of your own 0 nic juice. Since you said you are vaping a lot more than you smoked, you could use 0 nic in between the times you need the nic. That would lower your costs considerably, too. Just an idea.
  15. I got these: http://www.createvapor.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=5&products_id=42 Madvapes has aluminum drip tips in different colors, but I don't know how big the hole is. The pictures don't show much. http://www.madvapes.com/Dripper-Tips_c_68.html
  16. What a nice thing for them to do. Now that's some good service right there.
  17. Whoa! I did not know that was why you are so popular, Jeff.
  18. Welcome to Vapor Talk. It looks like all of your questions were answered so far. I've never heard of a bottle of liquid labeled that way, so can't help with that. There are several good videos here on the forum that will probably answer a lot more of your questions and show you how to do all of it. Watch those and then ask any other questions you might have. Someone will answer. We're all here to help. And to have a little bit of fun along the way.
  19. Did you use the ticket system to send him a message? It sounds like that's about the only way to get a response from him. He should send you a number that you'll use to send the unit to the people who made the VP/PT and they will get if fixed for you. I had to send mine back within the first two weeks I had it, but it has worked ever since. Another thing to consider is the Silver Bullet. I've had mine for a month or so and I'm just loving it. You can buy a pass through to go with it and that makes it a 5 volt unit. You can also use the protected stacked batteries for 6 volt. It's a bit pricey, but believe me, it's worth it. This is one solid, beautiful unit. I got the Black Silver Bullet.
  20. Mark just doesn't want to admit it, but we do, Jeff.
  21. Just so you know, I've been the same way. For the first few months I couldn't taste any of the juices. I still can't taste a lot of the pre-made juices and I've been vaping for over 8 months now. I did find that I could taste the juices from Tasty Vapor though and that's what I've been using since December. Now that I am mixing some of my own juices, I can taste them. But...I have to use a LOT of flavoring. I've enjoyed vaping this whole time - even without much for flavor - but now it's even better. I doubt I'll ever be able to taste the pre-made juices, but I don't mind because I can make my own now. You may still get your taste buds to work again. I smoked for over 34 years and I may have done some damage to my taste buds. I don't know. Might be that it just takes more flavoring for me. Either way, I can taste the vapor now. You might want to consider getting some flavoring to add to your juices so you can taste them. They may taste different than they were supposed to, but at least you could taste them and they won't go to waste.
