New E-Juice Site Recommendations Please
nana replied to Tektronik's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Tasty Vapor has always been one of my favorites. Good taste (that I could actually taste), freshly made, affordable, and great service. -
ewwwwwwwww, was my reaction, too. I think I'll just stay away from tobacco flavors. Hey, kitsune...which tobacco flavorings do you use?
-
I don't think so, but kitsune and ddave should do some.

Most pre-made juices are weak to me, so I thought I could try to make my own. But Tasty Vapor has never been weak on flavor. At one time, theirs was the only juice I could taste at all. I've never tried Vapr4life so can't speak to their flavor.

Growing Lungs In A Lab: Researchers Move Closer To Goal

Ahhh...good point, kitsune. I wasn't quite sure what to think until you pointed out the cadaver part. Makes a person stop and think. -
I've never tried apple cider, but it does sound good. I may have to give that one a try.

Another fantastic review! Thanks. I'm sure it will be quite helpful to a lot of people.

I'll throw my vote in for the drip tips, too. I have several from different places and can't say any are any better than the others, but I know they are the best for dripping. Can't image vaping without them any more.

E-Liquid Usage Per Day How Much Is To Much?
nana replied to Esig's topic in General Vaping Discussion
I went down to 0 nic after only 3 months, but then because of some stress in the last few weeks, went back to 12mg nic for awhile. But that's only when I feel the need for it. The rest of the time I vape 0 nic. I'm sure a lot of it is the "habit", the "hand to mouth" thing with me. I truly enjoy vaping and have no plans to give it up. Even when I go for days with 0 nic, I still vape quite a bit. I agree that a good solution for you would be to go with a lower nic or even 0 nic and only use the nic juice when you need it. That way you don't have to worry about getting too much nic. -

Awesome Vapors also sells sample sizes. That's a really good way to because then you don't invest a lot only to find out you don't like them. Otherwise, order the smallest bottles they have to try them out. Once you find some you like, it's better to order the biggest bottle they have for the greatest savings - plus you'll want to have as much juice on hand as possible so you don't ever run out and have to resort back to cigarettes while you wait on some juice to come in the mail. What 5V Device Would You Recommend?
nana replied to StringDancer's topic in General Vaping Discussion
My recommendation would have to be the Silver Bullet. http://altsmoke.com/feature/altsilverbullet.html It's a very dependable, heavy duty, solid unit that has been around quite a long time so it's been tested. I have yet to hear even one negative thing about it. The Silver Bullet comes in silver or black. I own the black version. You can use batteries for 3.7 or 6 volt, or you can get the pass through with it and have a 5 volt unit - so it's like having 3 different units in one. Personally, I mostly use mine at 3.7 or with the pass through for 5 volt. I thought the 6 volt was a bit too harsh, but I really haven't given it a chance at 6 volt either. It uses the 510 atty, which is what I like the best, so that works out well for me. The main difference in 5 volt and 3.7 is the vapor. You get much better vapor with the 5 volt. I use the LR attys at 3.7 volt to get almost the same vapor as I get at 5 volt, so I guess my preference is 5 volt. I get more satisfaction from vaping when I get more vapor, so that's what I look for. I also use the LR attys on my eGo for the same reason. -
Live and Learn. I've done that myself with these. I use the eGo and just love it, but I am concerned there will come a time when I can no longer get batteries, so I also bought a Black Silver Bullet and the PT for it. Because of spending so much on other things that have been disappointments, I was a bit worried that this would fall along the wayside, too. But I have to admit it is a fantastic device and I won't ever have to worry about getting batteries for it.

He is adorable!! And I love the video. Keep making them. Those are going to be so very precious in years to come. Time really does fly.

How nice to have someone so close you can buy from. That would be a dream come true for so many of us!! I've ordered from madvapes before. Great company. Lots of info. I've never heard of sharpsmoker before, but I'll check them out.

That is a long time for the battery to last. Really. I think it was just it's time is all. You really can't go wrong with the eGo in my opinion. I'm going to get the eGo XL batt next, but I don't really need it yet. Until my batts die, I'm doing good. But as soon as a couple of them go, I'm all over those longer batts!!

Yes, the free shipping is a plus, isn't it? lol I think my orders from wordup get to me in Nebraska in about 3 days, so it should be a bit quicker for you.
-
I'm curious, too, as to why you'd want to give up on the eGo. Batteries do wear out. They are only good for just so many charges. I've had my original eGo batteries for 5 months now, and then I got a couple of tornado batteries that I've had about 4 months. All are still working although they are not holding a charge nearly as long as they did in the beginning. I noticed it was down to about 4 hours after a couple of months and lately it's more like 3 hours. They have lasted a good long time, but I know I'm getting to the end of their lives. I've been using LR attys with them for a couple of months now and I haven't had a problem at all. I'm guessing your battery just died and it had nothing to do with the attys at all.

Wordup is in MA. Awesome Vapor is in Georgia. Both are good and the shipping should fairly fast from either one.

How Much Juice Do You Go Through In A Month?
nana replied to PsychoMaster's topic in New Vapers Forum
I've done that just about the whole time I've been vaping. I was getting 12mg nic juice and using the doubler to cut that down to 6 or 3, then I realized I'd save even more by buying higher nic juice and cutting it down. This last time I got the 48mg nic juice. It will last for a few long time. Of course you have to get more of the doubler, but it still works out better in the long run.
