  1. Thanks FTJoe. I've never seen that. I did charge on a regular charger with the adapters, but that was because they are selling the adapters for that very reason at TW. Because of that, I thought it was safe. I'd been doing it that way for the last 6 months. I ordered two eGo kits recently from PureSmoker (the first "kits" I've ever purchased), and they came with the chargers, so I'm now using those. Until reading in this post, I never gave it a thought. Although I've had no problems whatsoever in the last 6 months, I'd rather be safe than sorry. So I'll stick with the "recommended" charger from now on.
  2. Glad it's working you. The really good news is...it only gets better and better!! Those drip tips are great, aren't they? I do 3 drops on a 510 atty. If I do 4, it leaks every single time for me.
  3. I may have to try that chocolate. I haven't found a chocolate I like yet. Thanks for that info, kitsune!
  4. I have to agree with the LR atty statements. I only use LR attys on my eGo now and just love them. I use the regular 510 attys on my PTs only. But...if you don't like loads of vapor, you might not want to use the LR attys. The amount of vapor and the TH are amazing with LRs.
  5. Now you're talking!!! Backups!!! The only way to go.
  6. I think the time a battery stays charged depends on how much a person vapes. If I don't have much else going on, I do tend to vape a lot. The 510 batteries only lasted about an hour to an hour and a half for me. I tend to average about 8 hours on an eGo battery. As far as the spending goes...um...well...yeah...um...what can I say? Me too. And lots of other folks. We can't seem to help ourselves.
  7. That sucks, Ouster. Hope they fix it for you.
  8. I smoked for 34 years and thought I loved to smoke. Though I did try to quit several times. Mainly because of the cost. From my first hit on an ecig, I never wanted another analog. And I've never looked back. Now I know that I love vaping and it is so much better than smoking ever was. The smell of an analog, or the smell of it on someone, really smells awful to me now. Hard to believe, but it does. So no, I don't want one. I highly doubt I ever will again.
  9. No, you don't need an adapter to use the 510 cartomizers on the eGo. I think you will notice a huge improvement with the eGo. Be sure and let us know what you think. Yep, backups, backups, and more backups.
  10. I had the same problem with the regular 510 batteries. It seemed like I was always changing and charging batteries. The eGo batteries last at least 6 to 8 hours. For some people, they last longer than that. Wordup does honor the Janty warranty, so no worries there.
  11. Yes, I believe that would be a true statement. LOL
  12. I'm so sorry. I didn't even know that could happen. I've dropped mine a couple of times, but always on carpet. That didn't hurt it at all. Maybe someone else will know more.
  13. Welcome to Vapor Talk. Looks like you already received plenty of good ideas on where to get some of the flavors you want. Just remember, you probably won't find anything just like the flavors you've been smoking (because you won't be starting anything on fire and then breathing in the smoke), but you might come close to the flavors you want. You may even find something you like better. Good luck with your new adventure into vaping.
  14. That's wonderful news, keiko!! I'm so glad this one is working for you.
  15. It's sounds like you have a 510, but it's probably a knock off and that may your problem. A Joye 510 would be more dependable. What exactly do you mean by "I need better cartridges, not getting much out of mine"? Are you using the pre-filled cartridges or are you filling your own? Pre-filled carts don't last very long at all. Okay, filling your own doesn't make them last longer either. They have to be refilled quite often - depending on how much you vape. The carts just don't hold all that much juice. Cartomizers hold quite a bit more juice and are great for driving, but I don't care for the vapor they produce either. Plus I think they change the flavor of my juice. That could just be me though.
  16. You can get that when you run out of juice. Are you dripping or using cartridges?
  17. I think it's great that you know someone you can share orders with - saves on shipping. Be sure and let us know what you think of the LR attys and the new eGo batt. I haven't tried one of the 900mAh batts...yet. I love the LR attys though.
  18. When I first starting vaping, I checked into the forums. I didn't like any until I found this one. It took me about a month to join, but I found this place so friendly I couldn't help it. I'd never joined a forum before, and never read one either, but I had to have as much info as I could about vaping. It took me quite awhile before I would offer an opinion because I didn't feel qualified - still don't most of the time - but once I was comfortable, I started giving my opinion and everyone was very nice about it. The friendliness is what keeps me coming back. I'm glad we were able to make you feel welcome.
  19. Great choice!!! Yes, please let us know what you think when you get it. And if you need any help along the way...we're here for you.
  20. That's just awful!!! I've never had that problem. I have two tornado batts and I've had them for four months without a problem whatsoever. I've had my janty eGo batts for 6 months - no problems.
  21. Interesting. I've never tried it because I was told it wouldn't fit. Hmmm.
