At first I used regular 510 attys on my eGo and had no problem with them. Some last a long time, some don't. I don't think there is any difference in how long they last because of the battery you use - except on high volt. I think maybe they don't last quite as long on HV as the other devices, but I can't be sure of that. I'm using LR attys on my eGo right now. I'm one that they don't last very long for, but I love them and keep using them.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. I did use ecigs to quit smoking. I haven't had a cigarette for almost 10 months now. If I only had to pay 70 cents for a pack of cigarettes, I doubt I ever would have tried vaping. But, had I know how much healthier I would feel, I might have tried. However...vaping does cost a lot more than what you are spending now. A lot. A kit should last you about 2 months on average. Batteries should last about 2 months and on average an atty will last one month. You need enough juice to last that long and that amount would depend oh how much you vape. From what you said about the amount you smoke, I'd say you'd go through quite a bit of juice, but that's just a guess on my part. Most ecigs are quite durable. The charging times and time between charges depends on the model you get. Really, a lot of your questions can only be answered by knowing which model you are interested in. No nicotine juice has no nicotine. Absolutely none. I use quite a bit of it. And I do make my own, too.

I've had my original eGo batteries for 6 months now. But...I also ordered a couple of extra batteris a couple of months after getting the first ones and I have been switching between all of them. But I'd say they last a good long time. On the other hand, some people have had a couple go bad, so it all depends. You can get good ones and not so good ones.

kitsune is right. You really should have an extra battery and atty close by. You never know when an atty will just up and die on you. And just when you're sure you have a fully charged battery...you will have forgotten that this is the one that will need to be charged soon. It just happens. Besides, batteries can go bad unexpectedly, too. Better to be safe than sorry. Like she said, you don't have to keep it on you, just close enough you can get to it quickly.

I have the same problem with cartos, hodge. The taste is different. I don't know if I can taste the filler, but I know the juice tastes different. I have several cartos and I keep trying them, but so far I don't care much for them. They sure are handy when driving long distances though. That's the only time I use them. Otherwise it's LR attys all the way.

I'm sorry. That's gotta be tough. I worried about something like that happening in the beginning. That's when I started buying all my backups. I've had a stockpile now for a long time. And I add to it all the time.

Welcome back Hawk!! We missed you, too.

I've heard other people are, too, but two weeks is the longest I've gone with one. I'd love them even more if I could get at least a full month out of them.

The eGo is a fantastic device! I think you'd be perfectly happy with the regular eGo batts as they last at least 6 hours, but most people report a lot more time with them than that. I don't have the XL batts yet, but if you can swing the price, I'd go that way for even more battery time. I also have the DSE905 (which is basically the same thing as the screwdriver) but don't like it and will never use it again. In my opinion, the eGo would be the best way to go.

That's good to know. Especially the part about putting in the notes that you wanted extra flavor. I really need extra flavor in order to be able to taste it. Tasty Vapors juices were the first that I as able to taste at all, but I wouldn't mind if they were a bit stronger. Thanks for the thumbs up on that one.

Sorry I beat you to it. Couldn't help it. I had to say something. You can still do a review. It would probably be a lot better than mine. I just jumped in and told what I thought...didn't give it much thought before hand. And yes, you do have to have the 510 to 901 adapter. It makes the eGo a bit longer, but it's not too long. I'm still using the LR 901, but switched it to my Silver Bullet. Just as good on there. So far I'm still tasting the juices better with it and I'm still impressed. Even if my reviews aren't so impressive.

The LR attys don't seem to last as long for me, or at least not as long as the regular attys, but they are so much better vaporwise, that they have been worth it. I just love them!

Nice review. Sounds really good.

Thanks, Brian.

Yep...eGo all the way.
-
Just curious...what are those things supposed to do, Brian?
-
Great news!!

Yes, you can use the LR510 atty on your eGo. It's fantastic!

They sound like good people. Just the kind I like to do business with. People who care.
-
Be sure and let us know what you think of them.

The only time I ever had a leak on an 801 was when I dripped too much juice. When I cut back on the number of drops I used, I never had that problem again. I really don't use an 801 atty any more. Sorry, I'm sure that was any help.

You're welcome. I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't impressed. And I'm not easily impressed. Believe me, I am enjoying. And enjoying. And enjoying.
-
I don't know if anyone else would feel the same way, but I sure would recommend you try them.
-
Yep, that's pretty much it. Charge, fill, and vape. Have you seen the video on how to fill them yet? If you need any other help, let us know. And let us know what you think of the eGo, too.
