  1. There are several people here who use HV and would be happy to tell you of the benefits. I have a PT for my SB, but rarely use it. Only when I'm at my main computer - because it has to be plugged into the wall. Honestly, I don't see that it's much better than using the SB with a battery and a LR atty. Or the eGo with a LR atty. I have used the stacking batteries for a 6v device and I do see a difference there. More vapor for one thing, but maybe less flavor? Those batteries don't last as long, so I don't use it very much at all. I've been giving it a try again the last couple of days and I do have to say that I'm enjoying it. Right now the batteries are charging, so I'm back to 3.7v for awhile.
  2. It does look to be more of hassle, but then PVs have been more of a hassle than analogs and yet we keep using them. I would prefer to find out how to make my own attys and keep using my PVs, but I don't know if that is possible or not. And I'm open to trying new things. I need some alternatives - just in case.
  3. My 510 batteries tended to last about 3 months for me. When they got to where they'd only hold a charge for 15 or 20 minutes, I chucked them. I didn't go about the eGo batteries in the right way. I ordered two eGo batteries from Janty, then a month later got concerned that if one died, I'd be without a vape while the one charged, so I ordered two new batteries from TW. That gave me two Janty and two Tornados. A month after that I figured my Janty batteries wouldn't last much longer and I bought two Joye eGo batteries from Create Vapor. I've been alternating between the six batteries this whole time. The Janty batteries are 7 months old now. A couple of weeks ago one of them just up and died on me and the other one only holds a charge for a couple of hours - if that. The Tornado and Joye batteries are still going strong and hold charges for at least 4 hours. But...since I alternate between them, I don't know for sure how long each one would last if I used it exclusively. And now that I have my SB, I use it at least half of the day, so don't use the eGo batteries as much as I would without the SB. But I think I've gotten some really good use out of them. I'm extremely happy with the preformance and longevity of them.
  4. Welcome to Vapor Talk. You really can't go wrong with the tornado. Try different juices from several places and you'll soon find something you really love. Try to find some places that offer sample sizes until you find something you want, then buy more of that. Be sure to have extra attys, juice and batteries and you'll be set.
  5. Glad you found your Spade. You might need it for a backup.
  6. Oh great! How many attys do I need to last for the next 40 years or so? Hmmm. About 960? Good grief. I better start stocking up. I can't stand cartos. And I can't taste the pre-made juice, so that would make them even worse for me.
  7. I hate to see someone suffer while trying to decide between a silver or a black model...so...my best advice is...get one of each. You need the backups anyway.
  8. The eGo would be a perfect replacement for your Spade. It's probably about the same width (perhaps a bit smaller around), but a bit shorter...it does use the same atty, so that is a plus. One of the best points is that the battery lasts a whole lot longer. I only got about 2 hours out of the Spade batteries before having to recharge. I get a good 8 to 10 hours out of an eGo battery. Lots of folks around here get a lot more time than that out of them. I think you'd be extremely pleased it. BTW...my deepest condolences on the loss of your Spade. That's so sad.
  9. I switch back and forth between my SB with a LR901 atty w/drip tip and my eGo with a LR510 atty w/drip tip. It's hard to pick which would be best, but I'd probably have to say I'd rather use the SB and LR901 atty right now.
  10. Yeah. Right. Brian is going to hold on to his stash no matter what. I think he keeps it in a secret bomb shelter. He is very generous, but when it comes to his stash...watch out!!! He's going to sit back and laugh at all of us as we scramble and dig for supplies. He is - after all - a very smart man.
  11. I'm sure we have no idea what you're talking about. I just need to know how to get my name and address on some lists (along with any code words we may need to have), so I can be one of those who can receive the items I need. I'm willing to go underground...I just need to know how to do it.
  12. Hang in there! You'll get it. And keeping asking questions. As you can see, you'll get plenty of answers.
  13. Please do, Schizo!! I'd love to know more about the lolite and would really appreciate you sharing your findings with us. I looked at it a few months ago, but didn't quite understand it. I'm sure I wouldn't like the looks and feel of the lolite like I do my eGo and SB, but if it came down to going back to analogs or using the lolite, the lolite would win hands down in my book. The only plan B I've come up with is to stock up on attys. I'm down to about 20 regular attys right now and have thought about REALLY stocking up on them, but I can't stock up enough to last the rest of my life. I'd like to find a way to "rebuild" my collection of dead attys, but still don't know if that is possible. I am saving all of them just in case, but I'd love to have another way out of this.
  14. Absolutely! I also have trouble tasting flavor and have to use quite a bit more than most people. But it works!!
  15. I'll add my birthday wishes here, too. I hope you are getting an eGo for your birthday. What a fantastic birthday gift!!!
  16. Don't worry about posting too much. But yes, around here you get answers fast. Most of the time.
  17. I haven't found one yet, but let me know if you do. I'd love a really good dark chocolate!!!
  18. Interesting. I've never even seen the eGo carto yet. I've heard of it, but I haven't liked cartos, so didn't look for these. Not sure I'd want to mess with those little pieces.
  19. I don't know what the source is, but it's a positive article and that is a good thing. We need some of that out there for others to read. I don't know how much good it does, but doesn't seem like it could hurt either.
