I agree with everything BirdDog and Brian said. The eGo is the way to go. Cartomizers are different from cartridges. The kit comes with cartridges. Yes, if you get the kit and some liquid, you'll be good to go. But....as soon as you can, order some extra batteries, atomizers, and juice. You'll want plenty of extra for backups. You don't HAVE to order drip tips, but they make dripping a whole lot easier. If you don't get a drip tip, you can still drip. You'll just have to remove the cartridge to drip on the atomizer. Works well, but a bit of a pain to have to remove it all the time. The drip tip has a hole in the end that you drip through. Good luck!!

Create Vapor has the LR306 attys and the drip tips. They are amazing little powerhouses!!! Love mine.

Soooo....do you have it on video, too? There might be some people here who would be interested in seeing it, Jeff.

Sad as it is, it's only a set back. And like FTJoe said, look at how many you've avoided the last 3 months. You're doing great. And now you know why we all say BACKUPS so much. The more backups you have, the better. And then this might not happen next time. But, on the bright side, now you really know how nasty the analogs are. That will help you not be tempted to go back to them.

Nice review. Isn't fun going through all the flavors?

I'm looking at the lanyard from Clouds of Vapor right now. I really think I'll get one. Maybe two. Backup, you know? I've been looking for a wrist strap since you first talked about doing that, kitsune. I just can't find them without a camera. LOL

Didn't anyone tell you? You're NOT supposed to put it down. And only put it away in an emergency - and only then to protect it.

Brian remembers everything, Ray. That's why we count on him so much!! Way to go Brian!!!!

Sounds nice. I might just have to check them out. Hmmmm.....

Anyone Tried The Flavor Doublers From Nhaler?
nana replied to girldragon's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Sorry, I haven't. The only doublers I've ever used were from Tasty Vapor. I really like them. -
You can blow through either end of the atty. I've done it both ways and both seem to work just fine. Whichever way works best for you. I don't usually get that burned taste, but I always drip 3 drops at a time and probably drip more before I really need to. But if I do, it's working for me because I don't get that taste. I hope you can get things back on track right away. I know how awful it can be. I had a few problems in the beginning, but seemed able to work through things. Luckily I never did have to resort to analogs again. I wish you the best.

All I know is that I can breathe a whole lot easier than I could before. I don't get winded like I did before either.

My eGo batteries don't get hot at all when I'm charging. I'm not the battery expert here, so I have no idea why your battery would be doing that. Also, I've never had to charge an eGo battery for 8 hours. Only about 2 hours. Even when new. Hopefully someone who actually knows the answer will comment soon.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. Looks like your questions have been answered, so I'll just say I agree with the eGo suggestions. Good luck.

Good news!!!

Perfect Throw, Perfect Catch

Amazing is a good word for it. And now we know Vapor Talk's secrets, too. -
Welcome back Darth. I've been using an eGo since February, too, and just had my first two batteries die. But, I already had some backup batteries and I'm still using them so haven't tried the XL batteries yet. Once my others die, I'm going XL for the battery life. Besides the places already mentioned, Totally Wicked has the XL batteries. They call them "tornado" instead of eGo. LR attys? Oh yeah! They are great. Tons more vapor. I also use the LR901 attys (with an adapter) from createvapor.com and they are even better than the LR510. I was a die hard fan of the LR510 until I started using the LR901. But both are great. Personally, I don't care for the cartos either. I've tried a couple and just don't care for them. But lots of others will tell you how good they are. Another preference thing. Good luck!!

Nice review!

Nice review! As I've never been able to taste many of the pre-made liquids, I've tried adding flavoring on my own. I have yet to come across any chocolate flavor that I like. I've pretty much given up on that one. Coffee's have been "so-so" to me. With the exception of Mr. Bean. I just love that one! I have my own "hot chocolate" (drink) mix recipe that I use and I add that to my coffee and just love it. Especially on cold winter mornings. If I could duplicate that taste in an e-liquid to vape, I'd be in heaven! So far I haven't been able to do that.

You know the guys are jumping in here to see what's going on, right? Probably jumping out just as fast, too. LOL Honestly, I probably can't help either. I really don't think it has anything to do with vaping, but I'm not a doctor so can't say for sure. I agree with what Mastiffmom said. It could be peri menopause. I started going through that in my mid 30's. It lasted about ten years for me though. Everything she said except for the hot flashes, which I never got. I was completely done by 46. I understand that women tend go through it all (with similar syptoms) at the same age as their mother. My mother was done at 45. So was her mother. And her sisters. Do you know anything about when your mother went through it? It could easily be peri menopause, but it could be something else. A visit to your doctor and some tests would be a good idea. Then you would know for sure. I just know that you're about the right age for those kind of changes to be taking place. And they are a great big pain. I just don't see how vaping would cause those kinds of changes. Maybe kitsune will jump in here and give some good advice.

Frustration Finding A Juice That Works - Pg Vs Vg
nana replied to buttercup's topic in New Vapers Forum
Please don't give up!! I truly believe you'll find your "sweet spot" and be so thankful that you did. There is a learning curve to this thing we all call vaping. If you'll just give yourself some time to figure it all out, it will be well worth it. Really. Finding the perfect unit, the perfect liquid, the perfect atty, etc., is just something we all go through. Even the PG vs VG thing. Just to add to what AimeeG suggested...are you drinking enough liquids while you vape? That's a big one. It helps with the dry throat thing and my help with your problem, too. Just take a deep breath. Let it out slowly. And don't reach for an analog! I'm sure you'll be getting plenty more suggestions soon. Try everything. Don't give up! We'll help in any way we can. -
Yeah, what she said. LOL All you have to do is try them all and decide which ones you like, which ones you don't like, which ones can be all day vapes, which ones will be "dessert", which ones....well, you get the idea. Have fun!!
-
I'm sure you'll always remember that and never be tempted to smoke one again.

Nice review! Way to go O!!!

Congratulations!!! I've been excited and amazed at each and every day that passes. After 30 days, I too, knew that I'd never buy another pack again. It's truly a wonderful feeling. And it get's better and better all the time.
