I've never tried that juice, but I'm sure someone who has will be along shortly to give you their opinion.

I don't know anything about the crown lion, but I got the same story with the first PV I bought - about the cartridges being equivalent to 2 packs of smokes. I quickly found out how wrong that was. It might be closer to 5 cigarettes. Maybe. It doesn't matter which device you have, I believe you can refill the cartridges in all of them. That's what we recommend to everyone. It's much, much cheaper than buying the prefilled cartridges. And the juice that comes in the pre-filled cartridges is never very good. On the other hand, you can buy lots of different, really great tasting juices other places. Check out all of the vendors listed on this site and you'll see what I mean about the variety of juices available.

I have and use my eGo about half of the time. The other device I use the most is the Black Silver Bullet. I can highly recommend it. It's great as a 3.7V device and the battery lasts forever. Okay, just a couple of days, but for me, that's just about forever. I also have the passthrough for it and use that part of the time when I want to go 5V. And I use it at 6V, too. It's really nice to be able to switch back and forth to all the different voltages - all in one device. It is a rather large device, but not too large. At least in my opinion.

I ordered a couple of kits from them a couple of months ago for backups. That really is a great price.
-
You can use a LR atty with your eGo. It's supposed to be very close to a 5V device. It is in my opinion. Not quite, but very close.

Well, I know you've mentioned your lanyard and I keep saying I'm going to get one. I love the looks of it and the idea of it. All I need to do is place the order. Should holster? Oh yeah!! Let me know as soon as you find that one!! LOL
-
Oh my!! That was absolutely beautiful!! It brought tears to my eyes, too. Thanks so much for posting it. I'm going to pass that one along to everyone in my address book.
-
Just don't let it leave your hand!!! Or, lanyard might work for you. Uma has one for her eGo and swears by it. I'm going to get one, too. Well, if you can find one that will fit the Joker that is.

My parents have never smoked. Only one of my grandfathers smoked, but never around me and he quit when I was very young. I have two brothers and neither of them ever smoked. I had an uncle who smoked and two of his four kids smoke. I have three other cousins (out of 30 cousins total) who smoke. Two of them had a father who smoked, but quit at the time they were born - so never smoked around them. The other one was raised by her mother who never smoked. Her father did, but she rarely saw him. I was almost never around smokers growing up. My father-in-law smoked up until he had stroke 8 years ago. My mother-in-law never smoked. Two of their kids smoked (one quit a few years ago), but my husband never did. I started smoking with friends when I was about 12 and by the time I was 15 I was smoking a pack a day. I never smoked in front of my kids, but all three of them ended up being smokers. I believe that at least in my case it was because of wanting to "fit in" with the other kids. I never did really "fit in", but I sure picked up the habit.

I saw that when you said he'd be in Nebraska. It had been really warm here - highs in the 70's - but yesterday the temps dropped - with highs in the 40's. It's 22 degrees right now. We don't have snow yet, but they are calling for rain mixed with snow for this evening. I am so not looking forward to that. We don't always have snow in October, but we do some. We have years where we don't get any snow until January. Just freezing cold temps. But...we've also been completely snowed in at Thanksgiving, too. We just mowed the yard the day before yesterday, but I think we'll need to put the mower up now and get the snow blower ready for action.

Brian is being way too modest. He is our resident battery expert.

Sounds...interesting.

Fda Really Wants People To Quit Smoking...
nana replied to Brian's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I just saw that on the news a few minutes ago. I guess they're saying we're too stupid to understand how bad cigarettes are for us...that the words alone weren't working (or perhaps there are too many of us really stupid people who can't even read the words)...so now they'll put really bad pictures on the packs so maybe we will finally understand? People will be so scared they'll just stop smoking. Right? What? No pictures would have made me quit smoking, that's for sure. And..."every source of evidence suggests that the labels do help people quit". Seriously? Really? Does anyone know of anyone who quit smoking because of the warning label on a pack of cigarettes? I don't. -
Oh my!! How awful!! Maybe it's a good thing my PVs never leave my hand, huh?
-
Wonderful post!! And to all those here on VT who serve now or have served in the past... THANK YOU!

Glad to hear he's almost home! "Stuck" in Hawaii, hmmmm, well... And did you really say snow? I'm so glad we don't have any yet. It's been rather warm here...until today. But still not too bad. Highs in the 40's. But no snow yet.

How much do you consider "a bit"?

Interesting.
