Have you read any of the older posts in the DIY section? There are a few recipes there and some pretty good helpful hints, too. Just a thought.

The amount of flavoring depends on the person and the flavor. Some flavors I don't have to use as much of, but others I have to use a lot. Some people only have to use drops of flavor, but for me it's more. I think for most people the 5 ml would be too much, but 3 ml could be reasonable...depending on the flavor again. And yet for a strong flavor, 1 ml might be more than enough. It would probably be better for you to start with a recipe (like one of kitsune's wonderful recipes) and see how that works for you. You can always add more flavoring later, but you can't remove it if there's too much. I started out by adding extra flavorings to the pre-made juices I already had.

Boy do I understand that! I love the LRs. It's hard for me to use a regular atty now. I have a bunch of them, but they put to good use on my 5V devices. Otherwise, it's LRs for me all the way. Glad you're so happy with them. Happy Vaping!!!

It's hard to recommend a juice because everyone has such different tastes. Any of the vendors on this forum would be good places to try. And someone will recommend a few others, I'm sure. But it's going to be up to you try a few and see what you like. Good luck.

Yeah, I kinda figured that one out a long time ago. LOL But at least I can taste my own juices now. : ) I've never used the ethyl malto stuff, but I've heard it's kinda the same as the cotton candy.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. Yes, it could be the nic level, but could also be the device. Some of the devices I tried just didn't do it for me either. You might want to consider trying another one. edited because others were writing at the same time I was...if you're using an M401, that's what I started with and it just wasn't quite what I needed. It was okay and got me started on my vaping adventure, but it just wasn't quite good enough to keep me going. I agree that the 510 or eGo would probably be a lot better for you and would probably get you just what you need. I was a big fan of the 510 until I got the eGo and now it would be hard to top that for me. Without going to a mod - which I also did. LOL

Lorann's is the only flavoring I've had much luck with. All of the others were too weak for me - could barely taste them. I haven't tried the clove though. Let us know what you think of that one.

I have to add more than 30% flavor most of the time. I could never taste any of the pre-made juices and that's why I tried making my own. I haven't tried very many "recipes" yet, but there are a couple of others that will be more than willing to help you out with that - very soon. Right kitsune? LOL I made mine own coffee flavoring, but it's not very strong at all. Once I use up what I made, I'll use a different coffee and give it another try. I've been adding cotton candy flavoring to the coffee and it's not bad at all. I still don't use a "recipe" just mix and taste until I like it. Good luck and congrats on going 0 nic.

Some people get more life out of the LR attys than others. I get about two to three weeks out of the LRs, but I'm so in love with the vapor that I'm willing to put up with a shorter life. I love the LR 901s!

Please let us know!! I've had my eye on those (not left handed) for awhile now, but every time I go back to look, they are out of stock.
