  1. Awwwwww, poor babies!! But it does appear that no ducklings were harmed in the filming of this video. Phew!!!!
  2. I nominate Brian to be our own "personal shopper" for all things vaping. He's really great at finding all the really good stuff.
  3. Welcome to Vapor Talk. The eGo is a wonderful choice, that's for sure.
  4. Great news!!! Glad you're loving it. Just wait...it gets better and better!
  5. Smart kid. Very smart. Actually, it sounds exactly like something my son would have done. Or still would do.
  6. to ddave!! I didn't try it at 5V. Guess I'll have to make some more and try that way, huh? And of course I'll have to try some with a couple of drops of menthol, too. Just to compare.
  7. Welcome to Vapor Talk. Great choice with the eGo. It really is about the best you can get - other than mods, but that comes later. You'll probably want to try several options to see what works best for you. Personally, I don't care for anything with a filler in it. I direct drip with a drip tip and just love it. But everyone is different. A lot of people here love the cartomizers. Of course those usually involve liquid also. It shouldn't be any harder to keep your vaping supplies away from your daughter than it would be to keep a pack of smokes and a light away from her - and those can be very dangerous, too. Good luck and happy vaping!
  8. You're going to stop for flavorings (for vaping) between a funeral and the meal...yep, you're ready for the VIP room now.
  9. Look, you guys scared her away. Shame on you!!!
  10. Welcome to Vapor Talk! You can get eGo kits for under $60.
  11. I'm using the same eGo batteries that I bought in March and April. I've been using only LR attys on them for several months now and they are doing fine. My first two eGo batteries ever - ones I bought in February - finally gave out on me last month. That was eight months of use. After I started using LRs, that's all I used on them. I haven't had any problems so far.
  12. I'm one of those who is recommending the eGo (or tornado - same exact thing, different name) to everyone. It's a fantastic device. You can get a tornado kit from totally wicked on sale for $51.79 http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.com/products/electronic-cigarette-starter-kits/tornado-products.html The kit comes with 2 x Black lithium batteries (2 Manual) 2 x Black Atomizers 1 x Battery Charging unit. 1 x US Charging lead. 10 x Atomised Cartridges (5 x 16mg, 2 x 11mg, 2 x 8mg, 1 x zero) 1 x UK user manual. 1x Atomizer cone, 1 x TITAN to TORNADO charging adaptor. Or you can get an eGo kit on sale at Puresmoker for $50. http://www.puresmoker.com/category_s/69.htm 2 x Joye eGo Batteries (Color Choices: Satin Black, Stainless Steel, Red, & Blue) 2 x Joye eGo Atomizer Cones (Matching the color choice you picked for you batteries) 2 x Joye Atomizers (Black Atomizer = Standard Resistance, Stainless Steel Atomizer = Low Resistance) 1 x Turbo USB Charger 1 x Wall Adapter for USB Charger 1 x Joye eGo Pouch 1 x Joye eGo Manual 1 x TONIC eLiquid Sample (Flavor & Strength Picked at Random) It's always a good idea to have extra batteries, atomizers, and juice. I always have at least 3 batteries on hand. That's in case one dies. If you are down to one battery and can't vape while it charges, you'll possibly find yourself craving a smoke instead. If you only have two atomizers and one dies, you can be okay until one comes in the mail, but if that second one only lasts for a day, you're done vaping until an order comes in. Better to have a few extras around. If you run out of juice...you'rd done vaping until an order come in. Not good. Not good at all. Backups, backups, and more backups. And then some backups for those backups. Words to live by.
  13. That is weird. I know we all like different tastes, but since I've had such a terrible time tasting any flavorings at all over the last year and the only one I've really been able to taste is Lorann's and you don't think it's that "potent"...amazing. But that's why we have to be careful and let new vapers know how individual tastes are.
  14. Be sure and let us know what you think of it and ask any questions you might have about vaping. You'll get plenty of answers.
  15. It's not just you. I don't know about the flavors from DIYFlavorshack because I haven't tried them, but I can't taste the flavors from Perfumers Apprentice at all. I ordered a whole bunch and couldn't taste any of them, except one which tasted awful. I don't remember which one. I'm not knocking PA flavorings at all. I know a few people who really like them and that's great. I've never been able to taste pre-made juices at all either. I just have to have strong flavorings in order to taste them. I've tried flavorings from a few places and Lorann's seems to be the only ones I can taste at all.
  16. Good luck with that combo, Brian. And have a safe trip.
  17. I still haven't tried that Brian. I really should one of these days. I have at least a couple dozen of the empty carts I could try.
  18. I was also disappointed in cartos, but that was before they came out with the LR cartos. DD is what I love the most. I think the wall charger and the usb charger charge in about the same amount of time for me - 2 hours or so.
  19. Buying frenzy? Oh yeah. Several different PV units, batteries, attys, drip tips, filler, etc., etc. And yeah, lots of juice. I bought enough in December alone to last for more than 6 months. I probably always have at least that much on hand. A person has to have plenty of backups, ya know? And that does include juice.
