Welcome to Vapor Talk and congratulations! Even after two years + of being smoke free, I still look at my banner and smile. It's a great feeling!! Don't be surprised if you look at your banner and cheer a time or two. ; )

My batteries are the 650s and 7 seconds isn't bad...I just don't like to be "told" when to stop. Okay, I may be a bit stubborn, but I'm getting old and like getting my own way.

Since I just bought some new eGo batteries, I had to check this out. I do not like cutoffs on my batteries, so was hoping this wasn't right. It is. Except when I checked mine, the cutoff is more like 7 seconds.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! I don't own a Provari (I do have the Provape though and love it), but from what I hear, you made a great choice. Congrats!

I used to try and clean my attys to make them last longer. They never lasted longer, it took a lot of time to do, and about half the time they didn't work at all after the cleaning attempt. I gave up. I have better things to do with my time. And when I realized that an atty cost about the same as a pack of smokes, but lasted for at least a month instead of just one day (or a bit less than one day), it didn't bother me to just toss them.

I have a Reo Grand and it does work well. It is well built, very solid, and does not leak. As Dayvape says, the extra liquid gets sucked back into the bottle, so you do not flood the atty. I absolutely love the bottom feeders! I had the Ali'i before I got the Reo, so I was used to the side button on it. That made getting used to the top button on the Reo a bit of a challenge, but I got used to it quickly. For me, it is much easier to use the Ali'i one handed because the bottle and the button are next to each other. You just move your finger up and down between them. With the Reo, the bottle opening is on the side and the button on the top, so I have to turn the unit in my hand to squeeze the bottle, then turn again to use the button. It took awhile for me to get used to that, but then that's because I was used to using the Ali'i first. It's different, but not bad. The Reo is a very square box, without rounded corners, and the corners can dig into my hand if I don't hold it just right. I now 'cradle' the unit in my fingers with the bottom of the unit resting on my pinky finger. That works well for me. I think part of my problem is that it's just a little bit too big to fit comfortably in my hand. Or it could be from being used to the Ali'i that does have the rounded corners and is just a bit smaller so that it fits perfectly in the palm of my hand. I choose to go with the Reo Grand because it used the 6ml bottle and the 18650 battery, both of which are favorites of mine. The only negative I can think of is that the battery cover slips a little bit - moves up and down while vaping. Since I changed the way I hold it, that doesn't happen as much as it did at first. In my opinion the Reo is a well made PV, is easy to use, and works great.

Strange Sounds In Conklin, Alberta

LMAO!! And how many people remember that...or even know what you are talking about? I remember loving that show. Haven't seen it in years, so don't know what I'd think of it now. -
Me too!!

Welcome to Vapor Talk. You will most certainly learn all there is to learn here...and once you do that, you'll probably end up vaping all there is to vape, too. Or at least that's how it seems to work. Have a great time doing it!

I have a Maxi Roughstack v2 and would say you couldn't go wrong if you chose it - it's simple and works great. It uses the 18650 battery - which is an awesome battery and holds a charge for a couple of days at least. It's lightweight, comfortable to use, fits nicely in the hand, is very affordable, and if anything ever goes wrong with the button, you can quickly and easily replace it with parts readily available from madvapes. I also own a Silver Bullet and other than the placement and type of button, I would say the Maxi Roughstack v2 compares nicely to it. At this time, because of having a problem with the button my Silver Bullet and not being able to fix it, I would recommend the Maxi Roughstack v2 over the Silver Bullet.

I took it off. Tried to put a new one up and it didn't work. I need to find something different and figure out what I'm doing wrong. It could take a very long time. -

I think, perhaps, I will start boiling the water before using it in my neti pot from now on. -

You don't have much time left to see snow, kitsune. Pretty soon you'll be basking in the sunshine all the time. <big sigh> Started snowing at 6 this morning here. And it's still snowing.

I thought everyone did that, Uma - unless they use a pickup instead of a 4-wheeler.
