    Coughing

I've heard of a lot of people who go through that coughing - to clear out their lungs. I never did do that. When I cough now, it's usually because of needing to drink more liquid. That doesn't happen much. I started coughing a few weeks ago and couldn't figure out what was going on. Turns out I was getting sick. Wow, whodathunkit?
  2. You have NOT gone off the deep end. Take my word for it, Uma. If anyone has gone off the deep end, it's me. And I haven't, so neither have you. p.s. thanks for backin' me up.
  3. Glad you got that fixed! Okay, you've got a good start, but you might need a few more batteries, some more attys, and way more juice. And what about backup chargers? And then...oh, that's enough for now.
  4. Oh Beans!! You are not going off the deep end. Not at all. I, on the other hand.... No, not really. I'm not going off the deep end. Not at all. It's much better to have too much vaping stuff (did I really just say "too much" - no such thing) than not enough. Imagine the horror of running out of something: attys, batteries, charger, liquid. You would not be able to vape. Hold on a second, I think I'm making myself sick just thinking of that possibility...gotta pull myself together. <deep breath> Okay, I'm better now. Nope. Being prepared is never going off the deep end. You're just fine. You really are. As a matter of fact, you probably need a few more things. Ever thought about a silver bullet? They are awesome!! The Provape 1 is really nice. Those juice box mods like Uma just got are probably a must, too. Yeah, a must. That would be why I'm seriously considering...oh never mind. Uma!! Back me up on this one. Please!!!!
  5. Gotta agree...the SB is awesome. I love it at 3.7v and at 5v and at 6v. But mostly I use it at 3.7v.
  6. Yeah for Mastiffmom!! Backups!!! The blizzard itself missed us. We got snow, but not too much. But boy do we have the cold!!!! Wind chills were 50 below last night and the temp isn't up to 0 yet this morning. On top of that, our power went off for an hour and a half this morning. Yikes!! Good thing I had all my backup batteries charged and ready to go! Probably wouldn't have mattered so much if I'd frozen to death waiting for the power to come back on though. But at least I was vaping!!
  7. Don't worry. You're going to love vaping and you will use it all. Good luck and happy vaping!!
  8. He only opens for ordering once every couple of weeks, Aimee. The last time was on the 21st of January, so maybe he'll take more orders this coming Friday. I haven't heard that for sure though. You have to be there and be ready to place your order though, because it's only open for a very short time. Once he was sold out in 5 minutes. It took 15 minutes to be sold out on the 21st. From what I understand, he only takes so many orders at once. All of the Ali'i units are custom made. Follow this thread (on another forum) for information about when he'll be taking orders again... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/r-r-manufacturing/107724-r-r-manufacturing-custom-ordering-now-open.html
  9. When did you order it? It looks like it's taking about a month from the time of order to the time it's delivered. I just wondered if that's still how it's going. What kind of wood(s) did you pick? I love the black trim myself.
  10. I've always heard the same thing...never use a LR atty on a regular 510 battery. I do use the LR 306s sometimes, but only on bigger batteries...like my eGo or Provape1, or on my mod with a 14500 or 18650 battery.
  11. I use an 18650 with my BSB all the time and I sure don't notice a drop that soon. But then again, I'm so happy with the battery life that maybe I haven't paid close enough attention. I know I only charge the battery every other day.
  12. Nice review. Thanks. I'm looking forward to the next one and comparison.
  13. Welcome to Vapor Talk. I can never use more than 3 drops on a atomizer before it will flood. You might have to play around with the drops to see what works for you.
  14. Welcome to Vapor Talk. Follow the advice you've been given and you'll be vaping up a storm in no time. And enjoying it, too!
  15. My eGo batteries have been lasting me at least 6 months each. I just threw one away this morning that has this problem. The light isn't on, but every time I screw an atty on, the atty fires up. I've gone through 4 eGo batteries that finally quit working after several months and I'm using four other batteries now and this is the first one that's done this to me. It's an older one, too, so I wasn't too worried about it. I've never had a new one do that.
  16. Me, too. I have read some at a couple of other forums (mainly only when there is a link to one from here that someone has suggested), but this is the only one I ever joined. What goes on in some of those other forums is what kept me away from them. I like it here. I'm not an "outgoing" kind of person and I'm still amazed that I participate here. I got a lot of help from the good people here when I first started vaping and I now I just want to help, too. When and if I can. If nothing else, I try to welcome every new person so that they feel as comfortable here as I did when I started. And yes, I am positive that it was the pixie dust that got me here and kept here.
  17. I agree. She is the cutest thing!!! The best sound ever - in all of creation - is baby laughter. Record as much of it as you can, Chris. It's something you'll miss someday and to be able to go back and hear it again...well, just take my word for it. You'll want to go back and hear it again. Thanks so much for sharing that video with all of us. Seeing and hearing that was a great start to my day.
  18. In other words...backups, backups, and more backups!!!
  19. LOL - The things people come up with! LOL
  20. I agree with Uma on the Silver Bullet. It is a workhorse/powerhouse, for sure. I love mine! Although...they no longer list the PT with the Silver Bullet. I don't know why. They still list the PT for the BB though. I've never had the BB so can't comment on it.
  21. The Silver Bullet is really good at 6V. I don't use mine at that voltage very much, but I like it. You burn through more juice at 6V and I hear the attys don't last as long at 6V either. You can use LR attys at 3.7V, but not at 6V. The regular attys are what you would use at 6.
  22. I'm jumping on the eGo bandwagon here, too!!!
  23. Although the 510 is closer in size to a cigarette, the eGo is better all the way around. When I used the 510, I had to charge batteries about every hour to hour and a half. With the eGo, it was more like 6 to 8 hours. Much, much better. You can find 510 kits for around $40. and you can find eGo kits for $50 to $60. The difference in performance is well worth the extra $10. or so. Plus, you have more options with the eGo (i.e. LR atomziers). For filling cartridges or using direct dripping, check out the videos here on the forum. It's much easier to see it done than to have someone tell you about it. Good luck with whichever you choose.
  24. Welcome to Vapor Talk. I've never heard of, or ordered from, them so can't give any comment, but... Pure Smoker has eGo kits a big cheaper than what you're looking at. I have ordered from them and can recommend them. Here's the link... http://www.puresmoker.com/category_s/69.htm
