Welcome to Vapor Talk!! As far as what kit to start with, mwsmith1778 is right. The eGo is the perfect device to start with. Dripping isn't as annoying as it may sound at first. If you drip 3 drops into an atty, it will last approximately as long as a cigarette would. Once you need more, you drip again. That doesn't mean you are constantly dripping...you can vape for several minutes on 3 drops. Of course if you vape all the time (like some of seem to do), you would be dripping more often, but with drip tips it's not a big deal. But, as mentioned before, cartos or tanks work if you don't like dripping. If you don't mind what the device looks like, there are a few good juice box mods out there that hold even more juice. steeldragon post appeared after I posted mine - very good advice there, too.

I'm not sure which video you watched, but you can use low resistance on a tornado. They are made to use with a 3.7 volt device - which the tornado is. You can use regular 510 attys, LR 510 attys, cartomizers, and LR cartomizers on your tornado. You can also get adapters and use different attys on it if you want to. You really have a lot of different options, which is what makes the tornado (and eGo) a great battery. And yes, you do use juice with the cartomizers. You can get pre-filled, but they usually aren't that great. Even if you get the pre-filled, you can refill them yourself.

I've never seen the over 18 thing, but others have mentioned that also. It's nothing anyone else can see. Interests are located on your profile page, at the bottom, under "other". You may have to scroll down a bit to see it, but it's there.

Welcome to Vapor Talk, birdie!! It's all very easy once you know all the terms and how to do it. That's what we're here for...to help you learn it all. Yes, the tornado uses a regular 510 atty. So does the 510 you mentioned seeing, but after using your tornado, you would not be happy with the very short battery life of a regular 510 battery. Stick with the tornado. You can drip with the cone on your tornado, too. Just screw the atty into the battery, screw the cone on over that, and you can still remove the tip to drip onto the atty. The drip tips look very much like the tip or cartridge that comes with the 510 attys except it has a large hole in the end that you can just drip through directly instead of having to remove the tip. It's a very handy little tip. I sure do appreciate them a lot. They didn't even make the drip tips until after I'd been vaping for several months. I was tired of removing the tip so much, so that made me extra excited to get the drip tips. Keep asking any questions you come up with and we'll do all we can to give you the answers you need. OH! And congratulations on quitting!!

I've said for a long time that I would "go underground" if that's what I had to do to keep vaping. In the mean time, I'm stocking up on as many attys as I can. I've got the box mods and only need to replace the batteries - which I can get at a lot of different places - but the attys are something I would need. I am going to see about rebuilding attys, too. I'm not so sure I could do it, but I'd sure give it a try. I vape 0 nic a lot and I'm mostly just putting nic in my juice to use it up. I could go completely 0 nic if I had to. I'd like to have an "underground" connection to get nic if I could though. There is no way I would be forced to use pre-filled cartridges or cartos. No way.

Old habits die hard, huh? LOL

Welcome to Vapor Talk. You can also try Liberty Flights. They have 20% off on eGo kits right now. As mentioned before, they are several PA people here who will be willing to steer you in the right direction. I'm sure they'll be around very soon. Good luck!!

It looks like you already have a bunch of great advice. I have to agree with those who said the cartos just didn't work for them. They are okay, but just not my thing. Direct dripping is best for me. The thing is, you will probably want to try a few things - just so you can know what works best for you. The eGo or Riva is probably the best battery to start with, then you can get an atomizer and some cartos and try them out. Juice is not hard at all. Drip a few drops and you are set to vape for awhile. Drip again when you're ready. Really, there isn't much of a hassle at all. It's not much different than lighting a new analog when you need one. The prefilled cartridges and cartos aren't all that pleasant tasting, so you really should try buying the juices and filling your own cartriges, cartos - or just direct dripping.

There's nothing wrong with staying with the eGo. I still use my eGo after a year and several other mods. It's still a nice unit and very handy to have around. There wasn't an eGo for the first 4 months that I vaped, but once it came out, it was the perfect device for me. That's about all I used for the next 5 months and then I got a Black Silver Bullet. Those two were all I needed for the next 8 months. I knew the ins and outs, but was very comfortable where I was. Then that "mod bug" bit me and I had to try something else. Anyway, when and if you are ever ready, you'll probably try something else, too. Until then, stay with what works for you. You've got about the best there is now.

Congratulations!! It's always great when someone finds their perfect vape.

Well thank you, egoluvr! That was a sweet thing to say. Now you have me wondering about Julie, too. Have you sent her a PM?

Well I sure don't fall into the category of not posting in a few days, but I'll say something here anyway... Hi!!!
-
Glad to hear you like them. Atomic Cinnacide was the very first flavor I could taste and it's been my favorite ever since. Kretek is a clove cigarette flavor.

I don't know if he always does it this way, but my LEDs blink - red and blue, then they flash faster with red, blue, and green. So far I think Uma and I are the only ones from this forum who have these, marymary, but I know we both LOVE them. I've talked to Uma about them, so I feel confident in saying she loves hers, too.

Looking For Vapers In Los Angeles Area!

Oh Nanna, you are going to love your OG (as Uma is now calling them)!! I just know you will. They are fantastic. If I'm only using one of my OGs, I have to fill the bottle twice a day, but then I go through more juice than most people do. If I'm switching back and forth between the two OGs, then I only fill once a day. I have a black/gray raindrop and a red/burgundy raindrop. I think the red/black raindrop sounds cool. Hmmm, I wonder if I need another...? I actually ordered the Ali'i before I ordered the OG. Then Uma started talking about her OG and since I had to wait so long for the Ali'i...well, I ordered the OGs. I'm glad I did because the OGs are so much smaller and easier to use on the go. The Ali'i is great for road trips or sitting at the computer or tv. The OGs are great while moving around the house, the yard, etc. I can't wait to hear what you think of your juice box mod. p.s. I have looked at a couple of other forums, and you are very right. They are not as nice at those sites as they are here. That's why I only joined here.

Oh Erika, I hope you get well soon.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. I agree with what kitsune said. Except...I didn't even get two hours out of a 510 battery before having to recharge. Although the 510 was wonderful and I did recommend it to everyone, the battery life left a lot to be desired. It was very frustrating having to change batteries every hour (or even less sometimes). Once they came out with the eGo battery, that's what I started recommending to people. Where I got an hour of usage with the regular 510, I got 5 or 6 hours with the eGo. Much, much better. Lots of people get 10 to 12 hours with the eGo battery.

I've never heard of the Integrity. But then, maybe I don't want to.
-
10ml is even better!! I did see his video of the dbl-d, but the last I knew he wasn't making them yet - just the one (that I'm waiting on a review of).
-
Yes we were. LOL The Ali'i uses a 6ml bottle.
-
LOL - Yes Uma, your BSB shrunk!! What happened???!!! It looks like just the top part now. LOL

I've had a hard time tasting any of the pre-made juices, too, but have been able to taste those made by Tasty Vapor. I've always thought it was because they were stronger, but have no way of confirming that. I'm tempted to try some from Vapor Renu, but because of problems tasting them in the past, I've haven't tried them yet. But, I'm still tempted.
-
No shame at all. Yes, it takes a 510 atty. To me, the benefit is that you don't have to carry around a bottle of juice separately. The juice is next to the battery inside the box. You don't have to drip either, which means you don't have to remove the cap from the juice, drip, then replace the cap. I find that I save a lot of time and never spill liquid. It's great for driving, too. I have two of the juice boxes that Uma mentioned and switch between them. I have one flavor in each one. Those juice boxes come with an eyelet in the top of them and you can get a lanyard to attach to the eyelet and then wear it around your neck. That comes in very handy when driving - you never drop it on the floor.
-
I agree with you on this one. The bottom feeder juice boxes are great!! A backup is a must - as you well know. And the splurge on the Ali'i will be well worth it, too. I hope you can splurge very soon.
