  1. Nope, not alone at all. I've done it, too.

    1St Mod!

Duct tape, WD-40, and a box cutter...sounds like a good survival kit to me. LOL
  3. Yeah Amy!! Way to go!! Congrats on 5,000 posts Brian!! I'll second the nominations for Brian as Husband of the Year. I'd vote for him for best vaper helper here at VT, too. Honestly Brian, I don't know what we'd do without you. Thanks for everything you do. You're the best!!!
  4. Thanks Erika. I'll go look at it. Your drip tip looks nice!! Good job!!
  5. That sounds very interesting. I'd love to see some pics. Do you have a link to the video. I looked for one and didn't find it.
  6. Uma has pictures of her juice box mods in the gallery. Take a look at them. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/gallery/image/835-stus-illuminated-juice-box/ This is a mod made out of a "plastic box". On the inside are two "compartments" - one for the battery and one place for a 3ml bottle of juice. The hole you see in the picture is where the juice bottle is. You squeeze the bottle, which feeds juice (through a tube that goes from the atty to the bottom of the bottle) into the atty. Here's a link (to another forum) with some pictures of the inside of this juice box...http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modder-accessories-supplier-forum/143825-big-stus-box-mods-5-volt-illuminated-bottomfeeder-sale.html And here's a video on it...
  7. Something that might help...using the e-cig is a bit different than smoking. With vaping you should take a long, slow, deep drag instead of the quicker drag you'd take with an analog. Let the vape fill your mouth before inhaling, then inhale and exhale. I take at least a 5 second drag before stopping. Most of the time anymore it's even longer. When first starting to vape it's harder to take that long of a drag, but do it as long as you can. That might help.
  8. Have a great time and be sure to take notes so you can tell us all about it!!
  9. Have you ever thought about trying a juice box mod? I've only had mine about a month, but I'm loving it. It's about the same as dripping, but without the hassle.
  10. I can't get cartos to last very long either - never more than a couple of days. I'm on my last two and when they are gone, I won't be buying any more. I used to try cleaning cartos and attys, but gave it up because it just never works for me.
  11. Oh Sharon, how awful! I'm so sorry.
  12. Poor Juliery! That's so sad. Hopefully someone can fix that for her. Party on, Beans!!
  13. I've had great customer service from AltSmoke, too. I think the return policies are for things that don't work.
  14. They sure do keep a person hopping, don't they? LOL
  15. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. And yes, always have extra attys on hand. And batteries. And an extra charger. And plenty of juice. Backups are a must!!!
  16. You might like the wet box/juice box better. I'm very happy with mine.

I have to agree. It is as good as you've read. I get about 6 to 8 hours from mine. Much, much better than the regular batteries where I an hour or less from it. I've been very happy with the eGo for more than a year now.
  18. Since I haven't been able to taste many juices at all, I probably shouldn't comment on this at all, but I have noticed that if I vape one flavor too long, I can't taste it all any more. If I change between a couple of flavors often, I don't seem to have that problem. I did have a couple of flavors that I quit liking after awhile, but that has never happened with the atomic cinnacide. I've been using that one for about 15 months now and still love it.
  19. Sorry Erika, I've never even heard of it.
  20. Lori, I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I don't fly, but here are some links to other posts about this...(some of these are older posts) http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/6203-vaps-on-a-plane/ http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/7408-disney-and-universal-vaping-questions-with-flight/ http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/10282-airport-security/ http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/2921-travel-advice-please/
  21. Nanna, you can use the 510 attys, too. I've been using my LR 510 attys on mine. I do have some LR 306s, too, and they work great with it. I just haven't used them lately. I got my 306s from http://www.createvapor.com/ I've been getting my batteries (the 14500 and the 18650 for my other mod) from Mad Vapes. This is the 14500 battery I get from them http://www.madvapes.com/Protected-Trustfire-14500-Battery-900-mAH_p_2471.html but, I didn't get my charger from them. I can't remember now where I got it. I've had it for almost a year now. It looks something like this one http://shop.nhaler.com/TR-001-Multifunctional-Charger-Multi-Charger.htm Maybe some of the battery experts can help you with this one - like Brian. I always follow his advice.
