I smoked for 34 years. I loved smoking. I never wanted to quit, but felt like I should. Partly because of the health benefits and partly because of the cost. I didn't know that I couldn't breathe very well. I didn't know how bad I smelled. Until I quit. When I first heard about the ecig, my first thought was that I could keep "smoking" and yet not be smoking. I wouldn't have to give up the hand to mouth habit or the inhaling habit. Thrilled me all to pieces. It worked as well for me as I thought it would. From the very first inhale, I knew I never wanted another analog again. I absolutely love vaping. As much as I thought I loved smoking, it doesn't even come close to my love of vaping. I'm at 17 months and counting now. I have no plans whatsoever of quitting. I don't want to quit. I enjoy vaping - even at 0 nic. I love watching the clouds of vapor I produce. I look forward to sitting down to take a break and having my vape. I don't see me ever wanting to quit. Now, if it just happens...if someday down the road I find myself vaping less and less until I don't vape any more at all...well, that's okay. I just don't see me doing that on purpose. Like ripple, I find it to be a wonderful hobby and I can't say I'll never quit. I'm just not working towards that.

It's Tasty Vapor.us Took me quite awhile to remember it wasn't .com or .net

I've gone through the same thing with attys. It doesn't seem to matter where I get them. That's one of the reasons I always push backups. Backups, backups, and more backups and then some backups for your backups.
-
I was going to say I'd never heard of them and ask about a link, but...well...never mind.
-
Right. Memory isn't a problem with these batteries.
-
I've almost always mixed juices - for different flavors, for different nic strength, and you can mix for the PG/VG mix you want. No problem with that at all. Have fun with it.

Beautiful!!

A little birdie told me there may be live video of this event. I want details!! I want to watch!! Please, please, please, can we have some details for watching?

Have you read kitsune's DIY how-to basics? http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/topic/9076-diy-how-to-basics/

And here I thought I was the only one who had to top off cartos like that. LOL But how long can you use one carto (not talking about filling it, but the life of the carto itself)? They stop working after a day or two for me.
-
No, the carts don't last long at all. The pre-filled carts never seem to taste very good either. You'll find you get a much better flavor when you fill them yourself. You may have to try a lot of different juices to find just the right ones for you, but it's fun trying them all out.

I'm very happy with my old goat mods, too. I have two, but have thought about getting a couple more as backups. You're right...one can never have too many of these items!
-
You're welcome.
-
PG - Propylene Glycol VG - Vegetable Glycerin PG is used the most. It's what carries the flavor the best. VG produces more vapor, but the more you use, the less flavor you get. A lot of people prefer a blend of the two.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. For me...after vaping for awhile it will change a bit, a drag will be a bit dry or harsh (and lose some flavor)...that's when it's time to refill or drip again.

Always a pleasure to read your reviews.

Welcome to Vapor Talk!! No, you won't harm the battery. You can charge whenever you want. I always drain mine before charging, but I just use them until they quit, then I charge. I guess I never would have thought of charging before that. But it won't hurt it if you do. I can't give advice on e-juice, but someone will have an answer for you before long. Just be aware that it is almost impossible to find an e-juice that is like an analog because you aren't burning anything on the e-cig. It makes a difference. I'm sure you'll find something you like though. Good luck and happy vaping!

I don't have that problem with the ones I've used, but then I haven't used that many of them either. Are you using a drip tip with yours? I've only ever used mine with a drip tip and that might change things. I may not have given the LR306s enough of a chance, but I'm with Bird on this one...right now I prefer the LR510s. Have you tried the 510 on your old goat yet?

Not better, Bird, just added my own take on the subject. You did a great job. I just remembered what an awful time I had at first. I felt kind of silly when I figured it out. Just thought I'd let her know how I did it. And I didn't know the 306 had an exposed bridge, but I started out with an ecig that had one, so at least I knew I didn't ruin the atty the first time I saw it. I wasn't sure she would know.

Hey Sharon, you might not be able to tell (because I post WAY too much), but I've deleted a ton messages before posting for the exact same reasons you just gave. About chat, try this...http://tinychat.com/vaportalkforum I wasn't able to get in chat for a quite awhile and then finally got in the other day. Mark told me about this and said to bookmark it. I did and now I can get in all the time. Thanks Mark!!

Yes, they are gorgeous, Nanna! Can't wait to hear what you think of them. The first LR 306 atty I got confused me at first. I finally figured out to hold the the threads on the battery end and hold the cap while pulling. And like Bird said, you might have to twist a bit. The 306 has an exposed bridge, so don't be surprised when you see it.

If I remember right, a long time ago, when I first heard about his method, they said diet coke would not work.

I Need To Work This Out Before My Next Purchase....
nana replied to easilyamused's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Excatly...egoluvr got it right. The batteries come out of the box to be recharged. I already had the 14500 batteries and the 18650 batteries when I ordered my juice boxes. -
See how really great the people on this forum are?

It was all news to me. I guess a person misses a lot when they don't go into chat very often.
