Hi everyone! My name is Jeri aka Nana and I too am a serious vapaholic. My problem with this thread is the 12 step program thingy. Aren't those to help people QUIT something. If that is the case...I am not joining!!!!! No way, no how! Now, if you want to start a support group, one where we support each other in all our spending, where we make each other feel good about what PVs we have, where we are proud of our...dare I say it...BACKUPS!!!....then I'm all for that. Welcome to Vapor Talk. You'll probably want to start at 18mg - maybe 24mg - on the nic level. I wasn't a menthol smoker, but people brag on the mentha flavor from the Vapor Talk store. You might want to try that. I would recommend that you start with an eGo kit also. The eGo is a bit bigger than a regular cigarette, but still fits comfortably in the hand. It has great battery life, too, which is a big bonus over the regular 510 battery which only last an hour or so before needing to be charged again. Good luck!!

Oh yeah! Once I started using LR, I couldn't go back. Luckily I can use my regular attys on my 5v passthrough.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. I don't know of any chart either. I started out at 36mg and then got some juice that was 24. I did fine with so tried 18mg. Didn't have any problems there, so tried some 16mg. No problem. I just seemed to work my way right down to 0 and never had a problem at all. A lot of people have though. I still use 0 nic a lot, but have a bunch of nic juice left, so I'm using nic sometimes because I can not and will not just toss any juice. LOL I have days when I need that nic and I vape some at 12mg, but other days I'm really fine with 3 or 6 or even 0. I like having the options. Besides, I don't think there is any real harm in the nic, so I'm not worried about it at all.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. The Joye 510 is a great little unit, that's for sure. I used to recommend it to all the new people, but then they came out with the eGo and now that's what I recommend. From what you described, I'd say you really want the eGo. The battery life is so much better and they will last several months before having to be replaced. It uses the 510 atty, is still small enough to "hide" in your hand and is a big step up from the regular 510 battery.

I know I go through more juice on anything LR than I do on anything regular. But now that I've used LR, I really can't use regular any more - except at 5v. And I do think the LR are close to vaping at 5v. Not quite the same, but close.

I have to agree that it all depends on what you want, need...and like. I have a couple of the 900s and I just don't like them. I didn't think they lasted much longer than the 650s and they are quite a bit longer. That extra length seems to bother me (only with the eGo for some strange reason). I have longer PVs and they seem to be fine. Perhaps because I used the 650s for so long and got used to them at that length. Maybe because they are small enough to hide in your hand if you want. I don't know, but I do know that I didn't care for the 900s and don't use them at all (nor the mega carts and attys I got to go with them). So much depends on personal preference.

Better a hoarder than running out of something you need and not being able to vape until new supplies come in. LOL I'd love to have enough backups to last me through the apocalypse...but I don't think I have that many. Yet. Maybe close. Depends on how long the attys last. A mod? Oh yeah. You need a mod. Or two. Or three.
