Now you can !!! Oops, can't say that in here. See ya on the other side....

I think that given all the experience from all of the people here, the best device (and value for the money) you can get for the size you are wanting is the 510. All of the people who have been like you and wanted something that looked the most like an analog were very disappointed in what they got. They did not help them quit smoking, but rather gave them the idea that it was possible to quit by using an ecig. They (including me) moved on to other things. The 510 is what got most of excited until the eGo came out and that was mainly because of the length of time the battery stayed charged compared to the regular 510. Once they started coming out with LR attys, drip tips, etc., the eGo got better and better. I think you should try the 510. If you ever want to move up from there and try the eGo, the 510 attys will work on it so you won't be out anything at all. Some of those other kinds that you are talking about will not have parts that you can use with anything else.

I have a Provape 1, but don't have the Provari. From what I understand, the Provari is very, very heavy. The Provape 1 is not. It's a bit heavier than the eGo, but not a lot. If you wouldn't use the Provari at any higher voltage than 4.4, I'm not sure it would be worth cost. But since I don't know what it's like to vape at 4.4, I can't be sure of that. As far as the Provape goes, it really isn't much different than the eGo. It's taller, wider, and a bit heavier, and looks nothing like the eGo, but it vapes the same as the eGo. The biggest difference would be that no matter what happens (say they no longer make the eGo battery or there is a ban and you can't get them), you can replace the battery (it takes a 14500 protected rechargeable battery). That was a big plus for me. Oh! And it has a lifetime warranty! Every once in awhile I get concerned about a ban and want to make sure I have something that uses a battery that's easy to replace.

Aw shucks!! I didn't do nuttin...I just talk (or type) a lot.

Right up front...I'm sorry...but I'm going to say this. I've read your post several times and I keep seeing this..."I know that if I smoke so many "analogs" I am safe". Seriously? You think you are "safe" smoking analogs? I'm really sorry, but there is no way you are "safe" with analogs. If you vaped so much that you "actually threw up a couple of times", you were vaping way too much or a very, very high mg of nic. Why did you not back off if you were throwing up? I don't understand that. It makes no sense to me. As far as..."ALL OF THE MEDICAL INFORMATION NOT PROVIDED IN THE VAPING COMMUNITY as far as nicotine overdose"...we are all taking a chance by vaping instead of smoking. We all made up our own minds and decided for ourselves that we were better off without all the extra chemicals that came with smoking. We have never claimed to be doctors, nor have we claimed to know all the answers. We just know that we feel better. But...several people have asked their doctors about vaping and were told it was much, much better. Most doctors are all for it. As far as I know, none of those doctors have given out written instructions about nicotine overdose. But I do think you could probably do some searching and find those answers for yourself if you really want them. I think that most of us have just "played it by ear" and decided what we needed and how much and how often. Since you do not seem to be comfortable with that, and you seem to be so terribly worried about how safe vaping is, and you seem to think that smoking is safe, perhaps you should visit your own doctor and get your answers there. "I think the "vaping" endorsers should come out with some type of guide line as far as nicotine levels, this is just bad business and I personally do not want to gamble with my health even more." Really? I happen to think that the suppliers are doing an awesome job with the information they give out. They give you all the information needed to make an intelligent decision. You know exactly what ingredients are in the liquid. Do you know exactly what ingredients are in cigarettes? Do the companies who sell cigarettes give you the kind of information you think the vaping vendors should give? I am curious if you went into this much detail and worry before you started smoking. Did you know (before you got all these answers to your post) exactly how much nicotine you were taking in while smoking? I never did. I never saw anything, anywhere, that told me how much nicotine I was taking into my system per cigarette. Did you know for a fact how many cigarettes you would have to smoke before you got nicotine poisoning? Where does it tell you how many cigarettes you have to smoke before you get cancer? I don't see that kind of information out there in ads or on cigarette packages. But you should read the warnings on all the "quit smoking" stuff they have out there...especially chantix. That stuff says outright that you may commit suicide if you use the stuff. Most of us have tried all the different ways to quit smoking because we knew it wasn't good for us. It didn't work. That's why we chose to vape instead. For most of the people in this forum, vaping did work for us. We're all happy with our decision. We come to this forum to help out any of the new people who are looking for answers, because people helped us get started in the same way. We are here because we care and we want to help. We don't have all the answers, but we do the best we can. I know that everyone here would be willing to help you out all they can, but no one here has all the answers. Some things you just have to do yourself. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide to do for yourself...be that smoking, or vaping.

Right now I'm using LR 510 attys. I was using LR 306, but my drip tip cracked and I can't use it now. I was thinking I tried a cartomizer on it, but now I'm not so sure I did. I don't have any left or I would give it a try.

Glad you're loving it!! I didn't get the VV version and I'm pretty happy at 3.7v. If I ever get to the point I need something more, I might have to consider a VV. I don't see that happening right now, but it could. When I needed more I just used my BSB PT and was fine. Until the cord quit working. Now I'm 5V-less until I get a replacement cord. Anyway, the Ali'i is the perfect road trip PV in my book!!

I don't know how many weeks I've had mine. A couple less than Uma. I'm as happy with mine as she is with hers. Even though I now have the Ali'i, too, I use my OGs a lot. There are just a lot of times they are handier than the bigger Ali'i. But the Ali'i is better (as in batteries and juice lasting longer) when on the road for awhile. I had a problem with a switch on one of mine from the first...much the same problem as Uma mentioned...but the fixes quit working. I asked about it and was told to send it in for repair - which I did. Wonderful customer service!! My biggest problem is that now I only have one OG to use while the other is gone. No OG backup? What?!!! This can't be!! Problem fixed...ordered two more OGs as backups to my first OGs. I'm just practicing what I preach.

I have and use a Provape 1. I love it. It's not all that big, but is very sleek looking It's about as tall as an eGo without a cartridge or drip tip on it - to the top of the cone - but that's without an atomizer on the Provape !, too. It's probably about twice as big around, but that doesn't bother me at all. I don't have a Provari, so can't compare it to that. Yes, you can use cartomizers with it.

You need an adapter to plug into your cigarette lighter that you can plug your USB charger cord into...like this one... http://www.madvapes.com/2-amp-Car-to-USB-Adapter_p_2358.html

I noticed a big increase in my juice usage once I switched to LR attys. For a brief time I went back to regular attys so that I wouldn't use so much, but by then they didn't cut it for me any more. Now I only use LR (anything) and I don't care that I go through way too much juice.

Congratulations!! Vaping is wonderful...no doubt about it!!!!

The Ali'i is a bit big for holding while driving. The OG juice box is much smaller and can be held comfortably in the hand while driving (I know this from experience) and you don't have to put it down or use a lanyard, but I don't think it would work well being held between the fingers like an analog. But...I also can't see hold the VapeMate that way either. I think it would cause the PV to be "top heavy". I don't know for sure. I think Brian has one, so maybe he'll let you know.

Congratulations!! And now you know why we all recommend the eGo. LOL Enjoy!! It only gets better and better from here on out.

Welcome to Vapor Talk!! It sounds like you're on the right track. Don't hesitate to ask questions. As you can see, you'll get plenty of answers. Good luck!!

Way to go, Nanna!!!!

Although I find it hard to believe that you would receive any "corroded junk" from the Vapor Talk Store, I am sorry you are so upset. I have no doubt this problem will be taken care of in a timely manner. We almost never have anyone come into this forum with this kind of attitude, so as shocking as this post is, I must say that I am extremely proud of our members who answered so politely and calmly. You all are what makes Vapor Talk the fantastic forum it is. +1s for everyone!!

One more vote for the eGo batteries...and cone...and charger...and a drip tip if you don't already have one.

I have an old goat's mod and an Ali'i. I think they are both about as hassle-free as you can get. The bottles (on either mod) go in and out with no hassle whatsoever. Easy. Pop out, fill, pop back in. I have never had juice squirt anywhere. I have had a drop of juice come out the tip when I squeezed the bottle before getting it back in place, but that's it. I don't have to tip either mod to get juice in the atty. And to squeeze the bottle, you just press on the bottle for a couple of seconds and you're good to go. No mess, no fuss, no worries. The batteries pop in and order as easily as the bottles do. Really, I've never had less hassle with vaping than I do with these two mods. With the old goat's mod, you can get the lanyard to go with it so you can wear it around your neck while driving - which means you'll never drop it on the floor while going down the road. Perfect!! I don't find either mod to be awkward in my hand. The old goat is very small and can be easily hidden in your hand. The Ali'i is bigger and cannot be hidden in your hand - or at least not completely in my hand - but it's not big and awkward either. It is pricey, but because it uses the bigger juice bottle and bigger battery (which I really love), and because it is so beautifully crafted from wood, I think it's well worth the price. Believe me, my first choice would have been to buy one of these from Mark, but since he doesn't make them and has no plans to make them in the near future, I had to go with the Ali'i. Going with a bottom feeder was an easy decision for me. From the very first time I heard of them - more than a year ago now - I wanted to try one. The only problem was that they weren't getting good reviews at first, so I held off. These new models are getting great reviews - with good reason. I love mine, but I doubt they are for everyone.

Fantastic video!! The music was just perfect. You did a great job and he's adorable!! He's grown so much. I have to go watch it again now.

Sure! You can leave the borax out. No problem. And you can use baking soda in place of the washing soda if you want.

Drawbacks? Nope, no drawbacks at all. Well, if you don't count that obsession thing. The one where you just HAVE to have it in your hand at all times, where you just HAVE to see what's going on in VT all the time, where you just HAVE to check out all the new PVs, where you just HAVE to have some of those new PVs, where you just HAVE to have lots and lots of backups, where you just HAVE to try ALL of the flavors out there...you know...that obsession. Oh wait!! I know one!! A carton of analogs, an ashtray, and a lighter take up a LOT less space than the hoard stash of vaping supplies. I never once, in 34 years of smoking, ever considered having a special room set aside for my smoking supplies...but for vaping supplies, well...

I tried the mega battery for the eGo and wasn't all that impressed with it. Others really like them. If you don't mind the size of the mods, they are great! I, also, have a Black Silver Bullet that is fantastic. Those 18650 batteries do last all day - even for me. The Provape one uses a 14500 battery (which doesn't last me all day, but does for some people). I have one and I think it's pretty good, too. The Provari is made by the same company as the Provape, but is a step (or several steps) above the Provape. I don't have one of those (yet), but people sure are bragging about it. There are some good juice box mods out there, too. Have fun looking into (and trying) all the mods!

Hey Travis!! Nice to hear from you again.
