  1. Thanks guys. I appreciate the info. I don't vape constantly, but my batteries don't last as long as some say theirs do, so now I'm looking at the Spade. I think I just have to accept that fact that is always going to be something bigger and better out there. Like Tim Allen always said, "More power."
  2. I have to agree with you jeffb. Customer service is one of the most important things for me. Bad customer service and I'm gone. For good. Great customer service and I'll be a very loyal customer. So far I've been very lucky and had great customer service from the all the e-cig suppliers. Of course I've relied a lot on what people from this forum recommend, so how could I go wrong there? lol When it comes to my supplies I not only WANT them now, I HAVE to have them now. That's why I'm trying so hard to stock on supplies. It looks like everyone else is, too, cause everyone is out of just about everything I need. I have noticed that a lot of businesses anymore (and I'm not talking about the e-cig suppliers) do not care one little bit about customer service anymore. Maybe it has more to do with big businesses and they don't care about one small customer. The smaller businesses that are just starting out need to keep what customers they have, so are willing to go out of their way to keep them happy. I'm not sure. Just an observation. I just know I've noticed that in a lot of places, customer service isn't what it used to be. Oops, maybe I'm ageing myself here.
  3. Okay, I know I said I'm probably about done buying new stuff, but that was then and this is now. Sort of. A new battery doesn't count as new stuff, does it? Anyway, I was doing some searching and almost ordered a mega batt for my 510. I just wasn't sure, so I decided to come back here and see if anyone has one or if anyone knows anything about them. I really like my 510, but would like longer battery life. Does anyone know anything about them?
  4. Now see, that's exactly what I'm wanting!!!

    Hi All

I was the same way, Laura. I smoked for over 30 years, enjoyed smoking, liked the smoke, the smell, everything. And the first day in on vaping and I never wanted to touch a cigarette again. That first week, I only had one battery, so had to have a cigarette while the battery charged, but I only had about 5 per day so it wasn't so bad. Funny thing was, I didn't want them, I only wanted to vape. That's when I got into the research and found this place and all the helpful advice out there and got more equipment. As soon as I had the extra batteries, the cigarettes were done. I'm even finding I don't need as much nicotine. I started vaping with 0 nic and that's working for quite awhile for me. I'm just amazed!! Good luck.
  6. Okay, you wanted opinions, here's mine...I agree. All the way. Couldn't have said it better myself, keenan. Just one more thing, never ever be in the middle of taking a very long drag on an e-cig and read something several very funny references to a naked Danny Devito at the same time. The result of inhaling and suddenly laughing out loud can cause a person to nearly choke. But I'm okay now.
  7. Rant on, Keenan!!
  8. Adictive personality? Yes. Obsessed with e-cigs? I think so. I have to agree with jmhester in that I feel like I justify my spending on e-cigs by not spending on analogs. I know I've been tempted by all the really neat stuff there is out there, but I think I'm slowing down on feeling like I have to try it all. I am very happy with both my 510 and VP2. I still want to get the 510 adapter and low bridge 801 atty for my VP2 in my quest for more vapor and longer battery life, but I think I've got what I need and want for now. But don't quote me on that. I've only been at this for just over a month and I keep buying. So far.
  9. Not only is this site good for information, it's good for entertainment, too. lol
  10. I'm so glad I don't have to pay that tax anymore. I just wonder what they will tax when they aren't getting enough from the cigarette tax anymore.
  11. While I would never give my credit card info to someone for something "free", I can still see where a person could be taken by a shady person or company. Just ordering from a new place for the first time can be dangerous if you don't know about them. That's why I'm glad for this forum. I trust the people here and they know about the good and bad places.
  12. Welcome and congrats. You made a great choice with the 510.
  13. I haven't tried any of the Vapor Talk juice yet, but I have tried several different ones - awesome vapor, johnson creek, wordup, etc. I think it may just be my taste buds. I've noticed that my sense of smell is changing, but mostly with strong smells right now. My taste buds are changing because things do taste different to me now, but I still can't "taste" the vapor really. I am noticing very slight differences, but can't really say it's a taste yet. I have hopes that will change. But even it never does, I'll stick with vaping because it's so much better all the way around.
  14. I'm practically drooling here. I'd love to order all of VT juices. My only problem is I would want to actually taste the flavors. Since the only flavor I can taste so far is menthol, I'm afraid I'd be disappointed.
  15. Just my opinion Nina, but I think you would be much happier with the 510. I started out with the 901 and liked it well enough, but had to try the 801. I liked it better than the 901, but then I had to try the 510 and for me, the 510 beats both of the others hands down. But that's just me.
  16. Wow!! This will be the first year I've ever NOT smoked on the Great American Smoke Out! Does it count that I haven't smoked for over a month now? lol
  17. I've had the same sort of problem with my new VP2. That's why I'm interested in the low bridge 801 atty's. I thought maybe that would make the difference. In comparing my 510 and VP2, I think the 510 has better vapor production. My problem is, I like the battery life better on the VP2. I do not have an adapter to use the 510 atty on the VP2 and have wondered if I should try that. I'm thinking I should and then get some low bridge as soon as I can and then compare them that way. I guess I just want it all - great vapor and long battery life. And then if I could have the wonderful taste that everyone else gets, I'd be set.
  18. Yep, I thought so. Maybe it's because we all have addictive personalities? Naw, it's not just that. I think it's why I was able to join this group - fun people, funny people, helpful people, nice people, etc.
  19. I think it's safe to assume everyone here was addicted to analogs. And now probably to ecigs. But is anyone else thinking they might be addicted to Vapor Talk? I've never joined a forum before, never had anything to do with them, and now seem to have to check in here all the time and see what's going on. I'm not the sort of person who jumps in and gives her opinion very much and yet I find myself doing just that in here. Does that mean I'm addicted to Vapor Talk? Cause I'm thinking the answer is yes.

  21. Well, maybe this will prevent me from buying in bulk. I don't want to take a chance that even one wouldn't work, let alone 2, from a package and just be out the money. I'm getting to be a tightwad and want quality at a decent price. I've been very happy with the suppliers I've used so far, but doubt I would even give these guys a chance now. My charger did not work when I got my VP2 and they were wonderful about sending me a new one. I really like quality customer service and that's what I got from VaprLife. I will continue to use them. I'm a loyal person and when someone does right by me, I stick with them. I do have one supplier I'm not so sure about at the moment, but will wait and see how that works out for me. I do like to get others opinions though and tend to take advice and avoid the ones that might not be so good. So thanks for the information.
  22. Thanks for this post. I think it just answered some of my questions. I've been sitting here trying to think of a good way to ask my questions without sounding like an idiot and decided to read some first. And what do I see? There are some of my answers without me having to ask. Wow!! You guys are good!! I've had the 510 for almost 2 weeks and just got my replacement charger for my VP2 a few days ago, so have been comparing them. I've been thinking that I'm getting better vapor from the 510 and wasn't sure why. Wanted to ask if the low bridge attys made that much difference. I guess they do. I really like the battery life on the VP2, but really need much more vapor than I'm getting. I've been watching every day for Arno to get some low bridge attys in, but so far, nothing. Guess I'll just keep waiting and watching. I want more vapor!! Anyway, thanks to everyone for all the wonderful information. I really appreciate it.
  23. I haven't been vaping for very long, but can say that I wish I would have started with the 510. I got the 901 and then the 801 before getting my 510. I'm happiest with it and could have saved myself some time and money by going with the 510 first. Other than a too short battery time, it's the best of the 3 for me. Although I now have the VP2, too, I think I'll always keep a 510 around.
  24. I have one that I use with my 510, but I don't have a VP-PT yet.
  25. Very well said, SmokingMan!!
