  1. Congrats!! I liked my first pv and it wasn't very good. But it got me started. And after a couple of other pv's, I finally got the 510. That's the one for me! So, if you order it next and it's the one for you, then you will have saved yourself a couple of the steps and some of the money I went through. Good luck and enjoy the vaping. It really does get better and better.
  2. @ Brian - Oh, I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. Just vape until you feel better - you know how good it is for your health. LOL Eeeeewwwwwwwwwww!!! Skunky ejuice!! No thanks. There goes the idea for the Mason jars. Hmmmm. But, if they aren't in the sun? Hmmmmm. But.....who would want to take the chance of skunky ejuice. <shiver shiver shiver>
  3. Well, I can let you know in a few days. I just placed an order from them. I'm very loyal, too, but would like to have a couple of extra places I can buy from - just in case. I saw where someone had recommended them (can't remember who or when) so I looked at the site yesterday. They have a special right now on attys, so I ordered some.
  4. Well, Jeff, I was thinking...that's okay cause I really can't taste the juice anyway and want loads of vapor, so maybe...then I read your last post and I was thinking...well, maybe not. LOL Thanks for the review. It's always good to see what people think of the different units. I had never even heard of this one before.
  5. LOL - Isn't it interesting what we think of when we see words like "vapors" now?
  6. I've had the same thoughts, Dave. I didn't think about a year or two worth of supplies, but that's not a bad idea. That wouldn't be so many attys really, but could be a huge amount of juice. That's why I was thinking to get way down on the nic level or to even 0 so if they do take it away, I can make my own. If I still need the nic, I could have several bottles of higher nic and lower it myself so it last longer. And with the VP2, I can always get batteries somewhere, so that's not a worry. And I won't have to worry about batteries with the VP/PT, but don't know how long one of those will last. It is something to think about and try to be prepared for.
  7. Well, Chris, it probably won't take too long for anyone to notice now. But I doubt anyone will care very much. lol
  8. HEY!!!! Brian, what a wonderful idea!! I can just see it now...a shelf lined with mason jars...filled with wonderfully colored ejuice...nicely labeled...with soft lights glowing above the jars...reflecting off the juice... Oh, the thought warms my heart.
  9. Congrats Dave!! That's great news. I'm happy for you. I never had that problem at all. From the very first vape, I didn't want another analog. The first two weeks I had a few while waiting for my battery to charge, but I didn't want them. Once I had two batteries, I was done with analogs. It amazed me, after smoking for so many years, that I didn't at least want one once in awhile, but I didn't. I hope it keeps up for you, Dave. It's great.
  10. All good points, but all the juice I've been ordering comes in the plastic bottles. I need to find a place where I can order bigger glass jars to store the juice in. I've been looking because of my concern over the plastic. Glad to see this thread going. Thanks everyone!
  11. I think I'm pretty safe in saying that none of the prefilled carts taste very good. I think I've even seen it on here before where people say that. Everyone suggests buying the juice and filling your own carts or do the "drip, vape, repeat". Either way it's much better than the prefilled ones.
  12. Wow!! I am speechless. And humbled. What a fantastic Christmas story.
  13. Oh, poor Keenan. I'll shed a couple of tears for you as soon as I'm done laughing. LMAO Wait!! The tears are there, right along with the laughter. I've got it covered.
  14. Just what I hoping - to hear from someone who has the mega batteries. How long do they last you?
  15. @ BirdDog - I know I am, but the calendar is trying to fool me. I don't get it. @ Brian - Me too!!
  16. Yep, pretty much what Brian said. About the size and weight of a 510. I only get 1 1/2 to 2 hours of the battery, too. And the Spade is only slightly bigger, but very light weight. I really love the look and feel of it, but I can't get more than 2 hours out of the battery. Unless I don't use it. You can also get a mega battery for the 510 and it's supposed to have a longer battery life, but I haven't used one so don't know. And I haven't heard anyone else say they've used one either, so I don't know about that. But I would absolutely suggest the 510 - no matter what battery. It's great!! As far as where to get it, you can check out the suppliers on this forum. I've used Vapor Pro and got fantastic customer service, great products, and fast shipping. Plus, he gives a 10% discount with the code he has listed on this site. Also, Awesome Vapor and Wordupecig are good places to go. Also Cignot and MyVaporStore have been mentioned on here, but I haven't ordered from them yet. And the new one on the board, The Indy Vapor Shop, but they aren't taking orders until January 4th. I'm going to give them a try when the open up. But that will give you some places to look at.
  17. LOL @ brian! Oh, I believe it. My daughter and son-in-law have a generator for the same reason. They went 2 weeks without power after an ice storm just over a year ago. And then one summer were without for over a week after a really big tornado went through. Some people were without power for a month that time. Most of the power lines in the county were down. We've never had to go a whole day without power here, but it could happen. We've actually been talking about one for quite awhile now, but we only think about it when a storm is coming and by then everyone else has had the same thought and they're all sold out. I like to be prepared for the worst and having one would help me in that department.
  18. I was disappointed when I first heard the parts wear out so quickly. But then I got to thinking about how much it would cost to replace them. IF an atty only lasts for one month (I'm still using my first one and it's almost been two months) that means it costs about $10. a month to replace. If the batteries last 3 months like I've heard (the batteries that come with the kits, not the ones for the mods) and they are say $12. each and you want at least 2 at time, that's $24. divided by 3 months or $8. per month. Add in about $20. a month for juice and you have an average of $38. per month you spend on ecigs. That's less than the cost of a carton of analogs. And I went through about one carton a week. Once I looked at it that way, it didn't bother me so much. Then I started stocking up on supplies so that I would never run out. If you buy a new atty each time you get new juice, you should stay ahead on those. Then if you buy new batteris every couple of months, you should be okay there, too. If you get to where you seem to have a fairly big stock pile, you can back off on the spare parts for awhile. I haven't gotten to the back off for a while point yet, but that's what I'm been thinking. It really isn't that bad at all. Just kind of a shock in the beginning.
  19. I was thinking that my 510 carts were a bit loose, but I don't remember seeing anywhere that the 901 carts fit. I may have to order some. I like the round ones that came with the 510, but I like my 801 tips just fine, so it might work for me. Thanks for that advice McQuinn - even if it wasn't for me.
  20. This is not a story to smile at, so therefore I am not smiling. Seriously. I am not. And no one can prove anything so that's my story and I'm sticking to it. BTW, does a little tiny smidegon of a grin count? Yeah, I have to agree, he got what he deserved. And I've been saying for a long time that something like that would happen sooner or later to one those baggy pants people.
  21. I do love my VP2, but with the 510 atty. The only reason for having it is the length of the battery life. Where I get about an hour and a half to two hours with the regular 510 batteries, I can get 8 to 10 to 12 hours out of the batteries with the VP2. Big difference. One that I like. I did have the 901, before the 801 and then the 510. The 901 is similar to the 510, but it does not give off the same amount of vapor as the 510. I also like the manual button on the 510 instead of the automatic battery that came with the 901. The 901 was okay for me at first, but after having the 801, I wouldn't have gone back to the 901. And now after having the 510, I wouldn't ever go back to the other two. My mods use the 510 because I'm still loving it. Because of my experience, I wouldn't recommend the 901, but that's just me. It might work very well for you. It has for lots of people. And yes, the 520 is just a bit bigger battery for the 510 atty. I've heard it lasts longer than the regular one, but I haven't used one yet, so can't give any info on it.
  22. Glad to have you back, Ann. Sorry you had problems signing in. Hope that's all taken care of now. I have no idea when we might be in trouble as far as juice goes, but I'm not taking any chances. I'm stocking up as much as I can for now. And that includes batteries, units, and attys. I have 11 attys right now and just ordered 5 more today. I have a lot of juice, but will keep buying that, too. I'm working my way down to 0 nic so that it won't be a problem if they take the nic juice away from us. I have the VP2, so can still order more batteries for it, but the attys could end up being a problem. That's part of the reason I'm stocking up on those. It sounds like you're on the right track. How much of anything you have is up to you. Just like the unit you pick is up to you. Everyone is different. Good luck.
  23. Yep, it's about the same for me. I go through about a 10ml bottle a week. I thought I vaped more than I smoked, too, but found out it's just different. Where I would smoke an analog till it was gone, then have another one about an hour later, I now vape about 4 or 5 drags and then stop for awhile (anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes), then vape again. It might be more often sometimes, but it's less than a whole analog worth. Of course when I'm sitting at the computer, I probably vape a bit more than that (okay, a lot more than that), but then I get busy doing something else and might not vape for a couple of hours. It's just different, but doesn't total more. Often it's less. If I stayed away from the forum, it would be a whole lot less, I think. But, since I can't do that....
