  1. You know what? No. I have no idea why I haven't. Just didn't think about it. I have a bunch of the Loranns flavors here and have been thinking about making some of my own 0 nic, but had never once thought about adding the flavors to the juice I have. Thank you so much for that comment. Now I have to try. And thanks so much for letting me know that they aren't strong enough for you either. I've been feeling like such an outcast in the flavor department. Now I'm all cheered up.
  2. "One too many cigarettes", LOL, I love that one, kitsune. I agree with you completely. I've said that for years. They make such a big deal about one and not the other and yet someone who has had too much to drink and do a whole lot more damage than a person who has had too much too smoke. I just liked the way you said it better. Of course they do complain about drunk drivers. They don't want to blame the drunk driver for anything, but instead blame someone who "let" him drive drunk, or "let" him drink too much. Now, I in no way whatsoever would make any excuses for a drunk driver, but I remember seeing once that 25% (or some such number) of all fatal accidents were caused by drunk drivers. They were making a very big deal about it and wanting to stop it, etc. You know what I thought? Hmmm, then are the other 75% of the fatal accidents caused by idiots? And should we get them off the road, too? I mean, shouldn't we get the 75% off the road first, then take care of that smaller 25%? It's just how I look at things.
  3. @Vacker - I have time for a long story - if you want to share. We have been slowly paying off our cc's, too. Still have a couple to go though. We close each account as they are paid off and don't plan to have any when we're done. We don't owe anything on our cars and are hoping they hold out for a couple more years. Luckily my husband is a good mechanic and can fix just about anything on them. We don't spend much except on what is absolutely necessary. I had a tough time paying for ecig supplies at first because of it, but realized if I just spent the money I would have been spending on analogs, we'd at least be even and could possibly be spending less later. It's nice to know I have more in common with some of you than just the ecigs. I like this forum better and better all the time.
  4. Okay, wait. Something is wrong here. Can someone take Keenan's temp? I'm concerned. His reply actually said, "VaporTalk Traditional Tobacco". I know it said that. I looked more than once. That's all it said. Really. Take a look. Something is wrong. He may be having a relapse from his recent illness. Keenan? Are you feeling okay?
  5. LOL @ dave - "Will look longer and/or ask an older person next time." I can not even begin to explain how funny I find that comment. And I know exactly what you mean. LOL
  6. Welcome to the forum, carguy. Isn't it just amazing how quickly you can know that vaping will replace smoking? I know it did for me. Congratulations on your new adventure into vaping. Keep us updated on how it's going. Ask any questions and they will be answered. We'll help in any way we can.
  7. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? "with the intent to coerce" What? And WHO is going to be judging what my INTENT was? I really do firmly believe that the only person who knows what I mean when I say something is...get this...ME! I can say something that might sound nice, but is a veiled insult. I have said things that to me sounded very nice and was well meant, but was taken completely wrong. So, if someone takes something I said wrong, and is OFFENDED by it, and thinks I had that INTENT in my, I can go to jail? I knew a long time ago they were taking away our free speech, but this is ridiculous. I've been thinking that we should have the right to just plain FIRE anyone who is elected who LIED to get elected. Much like any business would FIRE a person who LIED to get their job. I also think we should be able to FIRE any one of them who is an IDIOT and tries to pass these kinds of things. Of course I also think it should be illegal to slip smaller things into larger bills so that no one notices and they get passed because they are voting on the larger one. I better just shut up.
  8. Somehow I just knew you would love it. I am so glad. It makes me feel good when I'm right. Congrats!!!
  9. I keep switching just to see if I can taste any of them yet. But if I could taste them, I still switch. I like the "variety is the spice of life" reply. I think Ofortuna is right. But then, Knight could be right, too. LOL
  10. Congrats. So glad you're liking it. It only gets better and better. Keep us updated.
  11. It sounds really good. Good luck and keep us updated.
  12. I just got this in an email this morning. I really like the idea - if they will wait until mid December to put it into effect so that both my husband and I will be 50. The Fix There recently was an article in the St. Petersburg Fl. Times. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on: "How Would You Fix the Economy?" I think this guy nailed it! Dear Mr. President, Please find below my suggestion for fixing America 's economy. Instead of giving billions of dollars to companies that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the "Patriotic Retirement Plan": There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them $1 million apiece severance for early retirement with the following stipulations: 1) They MUST retire. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed. 2) They MUST buy a new American CAR. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed. 3) They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed. It can't get any easier than that!! P.S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress pay their taxes... Mr. President, while you're at it, make Congress retire on Social Security and Medicare. I'll bet both programs would be fixed pronto! If you think this would work, please forward to everyone you know. If not, please disregard.
  13. Congratulations on one week. Sorry about the battery and the analog. Get spare batteries. Lots of spare batteries. And maybe a passthrough. And maybe...well, you know. LOL
  14. I am so sorry. That's awful. Take Keenan's advice, he's been through it and lived. His advice has to be good.
  15. LOL - Me, too. Except I've already started stockpiling. I have a 510 passthru, a VP/PT coming soon, a VP2, a Spade, and a 510, 4 of the 510 regular batts, 15 of the 510 attys, 4 LB 801 attys, and still have 4 high bridge 801 attys. And lots of juice. I want more attys, maybe some mega 510 batts, and more juice. Except now I'm worried about my juice getting "skunky", so don't know how far to stockpile that. LOL But I feel like I'm well on way. Just in case. But from the looks of this forum, they might be sorry if they try taking our ecigs away from us.
  16. I feel your pain, Keenan. That's how it would go for me, too.
  17. Doesn't it all just fall under the "control" issue? They want control of everything and everybody, all the money and the decisions.
  18. Excellent Kevin, excellent!!! Exactly right, Keenan. They are not in the least concerned about our health, but only about their dollars. That's why they do approve all those nasty drugs...despite what they do to us or make us do...as in Chantix.
  19. You are so right, Brian. I had forgotten that already. I didn't order the set because I already had the attys. I should be more careful about what I say. Sorry.
  20. You know, kitsune, that may have been me, too. I started out at higher levels of nic, but I'm not down to 6mg. or less and I'm still doing great. It's made me wonder how much I really needed the nic. Although to start I did need the higher ones, now if I've been vaping some 0 nic for awhile, I do have to go back to the 6mg for just awhile. It's just been way too easy to get much lower. I don't think I would have believed anyone if they'd told me it would be this easy. But even at the 0 nic, I still want to pick up my ecig and vape away.
  21. Just in case you want another opinion, here's mine. I, too, think you should keep the 510. Backups are very important. Besides that, the VP2 does not come with an atomizer, so you'll need one anyway. If you keep the 510, you'll have an atty to start with. Although you will need an adapter for that one. You could also order the low bridge 801 atty to go with it and compare the two like I've been doing. With the stronger battery of the VP2, the vapor will be a bit more than with the regular battery on the 510 atty. But, the main difference with the VP2 is the battery life. Is the main complaint with your 510 the short battery life? If so, then the VP2 could very well be your answer. Or you could just order the passthrough for the 510 as you don't have to worry about batteries at all with it. But it is not portable either. Every unit seems to have it's good points and it's not so good points. I've found that out by buying several different models and comparing them. You might have to do the same, but it has been my hope that I can save some people some of the frustration and money by not doing it the way I did it.
  22. I don't know if I can tell you anything different than what you've been told, but I have used the different attys. I had a 901, but did not think it put out enough vapor for me. Then I went to the 801 which I thought was better, but only until I got my 510. I think it's the best for vapor, but if you don't then it wouldn't be any different on a mod. I have a VP2 and use both the 801 low bridge and the 510 with it. I switch back and forth quite a bit, but haven't really decided which one I like best. I seem to be leaning more towards the 510, but as soon as I think I like it best, I go back to the 801. I think perhaps they are very close in the vapor department. I think it feels like it takes more effort to get a hit off the 801. It's hard for me to explain, but that's about the best I can do. And the 801 is bigger (longer and bigger around), so if that would bother you, you might not want to try it. But, it does hold more juice if you use the cart instead of dripping. That can be a plus. I had been dripping, but had to try the PTB, so right now I'm using carts and like that the 801 holds more juice. You might want to consider getting one of each of the different attys to try them out for yourself. Once you decide on the mod, that is. We can give you our opinions, but everyone is so different in what they like and why they like it, that it's hard for someone else to judge by that.
  23. Honestly, I haven't craved a cigarette since I started vaping. Every other time I've tried to quit, the craving was part of the reason I started to smoke again. Well, it didn't help that I didn't really want to quit, but thought I should. I had always heard from ex-smokers that they continued to crave a cigarette - no matter how long it had been since they quit. That always scared me. I didn't want the craving. Vaping has been so easy for me. And I smoked 1 1/2 packs a day for 34 years - like you, over 2/3 of my life. At first, the ecigs I had weren't quite enough for me. Mostly not enough vapor and I seem to need that. It made me a bit anxious and afraid I might go back to smoking, but not because I craved cigarettes this time. As I moved through the different units I've had, I did find the more vapor I wanted and it's been smooth sailing since then. I have heard a few people say they've struggled a bit with wanting a cigarette, so I'm sure some of them will jump in here and help you out. Everyone says it only gets better and better. I have to agree with that. Hang in there. We're here for you.
  24. It would be nice to find out for sure. That might be an even bigger incentive for the smoking guys out there to start vaping. LOL
  25. Thanks for the info about Rocky Mountain Vapor, Kitsune. I like having other places to order from that I can trust. I remember when I was looking for attys and everyone I knew of at the time was out. I was getting nervous by the time people starting to get them in. Since then I've got a few more places I can order from, so I'm feeling better about it. But I don't mind having a few other places.
