  1. I think it would be really sweet paired with a 400 mAh Vision Spinner. Now if I could just find a vendor that sells both.
  2. My first Leo came from ecigarsenal.com, and they are a great company to deal with. My Leo Pro came from whitestagvapor.com, and they were also great. Both offered really good deals on kits and carried all the accessories for the Leo or Leo Pro...as far as I know, they still do. By the way, I liked the original Leo 800 mAh better than the 1000 mAh Leo Pro because it just felt more solid. By comparison, the Leo Pro felt a little cheap, and the finish scratched off quickly, but it worked just fine. I'd suggest that if you're going to buy one, get the platinum finish as it doesn't have the rubberized finish that comes off so easily. My Innokin Leo Pro
  3. Kanger MT3 Replaceable Clearomizer with viewing window (Bottom Coil) - $5.99 The link above is to Carolina Vapes, and they only carry the chrome and the black versions so far. The Kanger MT3 is the same thing as the Kanger T3 but with a slotted metal sheath around the tank. The T3 was the winner of Phil Busardo's recent Clearomizer Shootout.
  4. By the way, the Vision Spinner set at it's max of 4.8v combined with a 3Ω Boge carto rocks! At just south of 8 watts, it's a good setup for new vapers to get started on without too much risk of popping coils. I think that what puts new vapers off more than anything is a first rig that produces very little vapor. Let 'em see what it can do right off the bat, and then show them that it can be adjusted down if it's just too much for them to handle, instead of starting weak and then saying, "Wait! It can do more!"
  5. I know it's a long video, but it's actually not a review. It has some really good information about all things e cig (how they've evolved and where they're going). I posted it mainly for folks interested in the difference between the RMS vs. MEAN settings on many of the new APVs hitting the market these days.
  6. @mse12 Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!! Your first "sticky"     Dude! You got pinned! (what's the prize for second post in a new sub?)
  7. Even if you're a veteran vaper, if you haven't seen this yet, watch the following video by Phil Busardo, starting at 24:35. This is the best explanation I've seen as to why RMS measurement is superior to mean.
  8. The product page states: "One button-click menu system similar to the ZMAX" They're probably referring to a "floating" button like the one on the Zmax (and a few others). I think a combination dial/button would've been cool, though.
  9. I bought one for my wife a few weeks ago and it's really turned out to be a great PV. IMO, it's the perfect size. The diameter, being slightly larger than standard eGos, gives it a more substantial feel, and it's not so long as to make it look like a drumstick when it has a clearomizer attached. The best part, though, is how long the thing lasts between charges. The 1300 mAh Spinner is definitely an all-day PV. We got hers at VapeLite for $21 + $3 shipping. They're out of the black and the chrome versions, but they do still have some white models available at the time of this post. Word has spread quickly about VapeLite.info recently, so they're selling out of a lot of the hot items quickly, but Paul emailed me today that he's got orders arriving soon.
  10. The Leo was my first real PV. I really love those things...It's what got me off cigarettes. I gave mine to my dad a few months ago and they're still going strong. You can still get them at several places around the web, but VapeLite has the best deal on them...$13 for just the batteries, and they also carry kits ($20 & $29.99), cartos, atties, and Leo-510 adapters. The link to their "Boge Name Brand Products" page is here.
  11. Actually, with the EmpireMods Premium Bridge Free LR901 1.5Ω atties, you probably shouldn't be using them at much more than 3.5v (about 8 watts). I've tried them on standard eGo batteries (3.7v) and it's a bit too hot for my taste. Like I've said before, I really wish they sold standard and high resistance versions, but all they sell are low resistance atties. Ikenvape, on the other hand, does sell very good standard and high resistance bridged 901 atties, which are fine by me because I don't mind atties with bridges...you can always remove the bridge if it's not to your liking. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the Boge 2Ω & 3Ω 510 atties, but there's just something about the performance of 901 atomizers that's different from 510s (or 306s). Maybe it's the vent hole in the side, but to me, they're consistently the best tasting atties I've tried. I've compared the two side by side many times and the 901s always come out on top. I've never tried the AVAs or HH-357s because the 901s work so well for me that I can't justify the prices on those. By the way, are you using a sealed or unsealed 510 to 901 adapter when you use the 901s? I've always used the sealed adapter, and It just occurred to me that it might make a difference in the performance. With sealed, all of the airflow is coming through the side, but with unsealed, you'd be getting some airflow through the bottom, too. Just wondering.
  12. I'm vaping these at 5.5 watts and couldn't be happier with 'em. This is a big departure from my normal trend of 8 watt vaping, but they do a great job at lower settings with the added benefit of extended battery life...and no leaks. I will continue to use these instead of poly-filled tank cartos from now on.
  13. I don't know whether or not the Swisher Sweet e cigs taste like a real Swisher Sweet cigar, but EC Blend's DK-555 tastes just like one to me. I ordered it on their recommendation that their DK-555 tastes like DK-TAB...wrong. I like it and vape it at work all day because it's got a good strong flavor, but it's nothing like DK-TAB.
  14. I gotta throw my hat in the ring with EmpireMods Premium Bridge Free LR901 1.5Ω atties. I've tried 'em all and these always come out on top for flavor and longevity. They're unrivaled at 8 watts (IMO). From the product page: Just arrived, these are our Premium LR 901 Atomizers. This is a bridge free atomizer featuring a customized draw and seating for the 1.5ohm coil. This is an exclusive atomizer design to EmpireMods and we feel it is one of the best 901 experiences out there. This atomizer provides incredible flavor for the end user and there is no break in period at all on these atomizers. (Stainless steel finish) They provide a very consistent vape and they're pretty much the only drip atty I use anymore. Since there's a hole in the side, you need a drip shield. At $7.49 + shipping, they're a little pricey, but I usually get at least a month out of one. I just wish they made a 3Ω version so as not to push so many amps through my switches. (You hear that, Empire Mods?)
  15. Good thing for VapeLite anyway.
  16. Yeah...I put about 30 drops in mine prior to installing it and filling the tank. Also, although 50/50 is probably gonna be just fine, it's been my experience that a thinner mix (80PG/20VG) works best for poly-filled carto tanks (and just about everything else, too). The higher PG level boosts the taste of your juice, and 20% VG is plenty to provide good vapor production. You got yourself a really nice setup comin'...keep us posted on your progress and how you like your new stuff.
  17. Yes...they're one of my favorite vendors and they do have excellent prices on all sorts of stuff. I place orders there a couple of times a month, and they're a great company to deal with. VapeLite does have really good prices on Boge cartos, and I hate to steer any business away from them, but Sure Vapes has the best deal I've seen on 'em...$23 for 5 boxes (25 cartos) and free shipping. They also offer 10 boxes for $43.99 for the serious chain vaper.
  18. I've been looking at the SS version...can't have too many mods, right?
  19. I got my dad a Kanger T2 from Sure Vapes as part of a 14500 eGo VV kit I put together for him this Christmas. It hold 2.4 ml. and is rebuildable. I don't know of any clearos with a larger juice capacity at the moment. I never had a single leak incident with my ViVi Nova, but I packed it away (along with everything else except drip atties) after tasting my first carto tank.
  20. You know, the first one that I got was a 2Ω single coil, and I noticed right away that it really didn't like 8 watts too much. It had a little bit of a scorched taste, so I dialed it back down to 7 watts and everything seemed good with it. The thing is, it doesn't behave like a normal tank cartomizer in that at lower power settings, it performs like a regular poly-filled tank carto does when set at much higher levels. I got my 3Ω single-coil CE2s in the mail today and decided to take a different approach at breaking in the first one out of the pack. Rather than just hitting it with 8 watts right off the bat, I started at 5 watts (3.9v), and was amazed at how it performed. It behaved like a poly-filled tank carto does at 7-8 watts. I'm going to gradually increase the power until I get to "scorched" and see where that takes me. 5 watts tasted pretty darn good, which is strange for me because I'm usually an 8 watt vaper. In other words, I really don't think you need to hit it with a lot of power to get a great vape out of it. The best price I could find on them was at Hoosier E-Cig. The ones I got were SmokTech 3Ω CE2 style DCT tank cartomizers, and cost $1.59 each. A five-pack was $7.95 + $4 shipping, and they only took a couple of days to get here. They carry 1.5Ω & 2Ω dual-coils, and 1.7Ω & 3Ω single-coils. I can't say much about the dual-coil versions because I haven't tried them yet. In fact, I've never used any dual-coil tank cartos before.
  21. Sorry for the Provari slam earlier...I really do want one, but I feel like they have to make a VP model soon , and I don't wanna buy the VV and then they release a VP model the next day.
