  1. Congratulations bear. Still vaping that Nova?
  2. Sold. Where can I get one on the cheap & what will I need to get maximum performance right out of the gate?
  3. Now that's a product endorsement you can't ignore! Looks like I'm gonna have to break down and get me a Genesis atty now.
  4. Well, my order from Sweet Vapes came in today containing 2 Vision Nano Clearomizers, and all I can say is WOW!!! I just cant believe that something this small can produce vapor so huge! I'll be posting a YouTube video soon and will drop it into this thread to show how an 80PG/20VG liquid (Dekang DK-TAB) can really throw out some thick plumes of vapor with these little guys. The Sweet Vapes product page said 2.4-2.9Ω, but both clearos metered out to be 1.7Ω, which is actually fine because they'll work really well with my 3.7v 510 e-cig battery that I use at work. I just wanted to let everyone know that you should probably check these with an ohms meter before using them so as not to pop a coil with too high of a voltage setting. I bought a Hongda DT95B Multimeter from Sweet Vapes for $12.95 a few months ago and it works just fine. Thanks, Tam, for the recommendation...I'll be buying these in bulk for me, the missus, and all my vaping buddies!
  5. Oh, I know...I just saw where all the quotes were in one bubble labeled "me" and wanted to clarify. Absolutely no conflict here.
  6. *NOTE* Just to be clear, some of the statements in the quote bubbles in posts #30 & #31 were mine, but some belonged to others. Post is the post in which I replied to CASEACE79's comments and responded to Morandir835's claims. (I just didn't want anyone to think I was contradicting myself)
  7. Just be sure to blow out any excess juice and you should be okay with using the condom method.
  8. I think I might've left a couple of things out. Gotta have a backup, right?
  9. While a larger gauge coil wire has more surface area and vaporizes more juice at any given point in time (which may provide more or stronger flavor due to more juice being heated at once), I don't believe that there is any difference in the flavor between LR, SR, or HR coils vaped at identical power, as stated earlier in this thread:
  10. It does look tempting, but I think I'll wait for the "Quintuple" revision (v5.0?).
  11. From VapourWorld's product page: "The Ramiya R3 Wireless Desktop Personal Vaporiser The most advanced eCig to date; the best quality eCig to date; with the highest spec. too: The Ramiya R3 is the perfect PV/eC for the office or at home. Just ‘dock’ it in the wireless charger between vapes and your battery will always be well charged. • Wireless Charging • Constant 3.7V • Atomizer Temperature Management • Battery Management • Standby Mode • Battery Level Display • Usage Counter Having a 510 eGo connection the R3 can accept a variety of AD’s (Atomizing Devices), however, once you’ve tried the Meta Core Atomizers you may well find that the only other AD’s you want are more Meta Core R3. The R3 is available in 3 standard colours; Polished Ebony, Navy Matt and White Pearl. Contents: 1 - Complete Meta Core R3 PV/EC 2 - Extra Meta Core Atomizer 5 - Extra Meta Core Atomizer Mouthpieces 1 - Wireless Desktop Charging Station 1 - Extra Long USB Lead 1 - R3 USB Charger 1 - R3 User Leaflet (English Language) All in a presentation box Please Note: The R3, depending on the battery status, can get quite warm during the initial stage of charging, for a short period of time. This is quite normal for magnetic induction charging. Should you require a USB Power Adapter, these can be ordered here. For more information about the R3, click here."
  12. Yeah, I do prefer SR/HR to LR atties since I have PVs that can power them up to where they need to be, but the EmpireMods Premium Bridge Free LR901 1.5Ω atties perform so well that I continue to stick with them. I have said again and again that I really wish they'd come out with a SR or HR version of that atomizer...I'd buy them in bulk. I just found these HR 510 DCAs while writing this post, so I may have to order a couple to see how they perform. The same vendor carries LR and SR versions as well. Simplicity Dual Coil 510 Atomizer HR 3.6Ω-3.8Ω *UPDATE* Even more info here.
  13. An EmpireMods Bridge Free Dual Coil LR306 1.5Ω with a Cherry Vapes "The Universal" and Ceramic Drip Tip on a Sigelei Zmax set to 10 watts...5 watts per coil (anything higher tastes burnt).
  14. Maybe the "Triple Stack" will be better, and if not, I'm sure the "Quadruple Stack" will be awesome, but if that's not, then... (Wow...this quote works for Novas and Burger King burgers!)
  15. From another forum: "According to information unearthed here on this thread (about eight months or so back) from reliable inside sources, the original RY4 is indeed still made and sold. That was (and is) Janty Elixir RY4. The story we got is that the first-ever no-kidding original RY4 was created literally as a lark during a single afternoon in a Dekang factory in China back in 2007 by two men: Ludo---one of the owners of Janty (who was visiting the factory because Dekang manufactured Janty's e-liquids)---and a flavor chemist, presumably working for Dekang. The RY4 you're talking about---the now-mythic "lost" Dekang RY4---was one of numerous Dekang variations on the original Janty recipe. It was actually stolen in the summer of 2009 by a Dekang flavor chemist who was departing to start his own juice company. He was subsequently arrested, tried, convicted, and is serving a prison sentence in China. Meanwhile, the stolen recipe remains missing to this day. So, you want the original? Buy some Janty Elixir RY4. You want the lost Dekang? It doesn't exist, although numerous attempts have been made to replicate it. I hadn't started vaping in 2009, so I never had any of the Dekang reformulation that some folks would apparently sell their first-born to have again, so I can't tell you how close the current Dekang formula or IKV RY4 Gold are. Ikenvape's was supposed to be a dead ringer, but many people who had the lost Dekang insist that it had no nuttiness at all, and IKV RY4 is definitely nutty, so who knows?"
  16. What's wrong with the smell (and taste) of cheap whiskey? Seriously, though, I vape Dekang RY4 regularly, and I taste tobacco, caramel, and vanilla, like a sweet-ish vanilla pipe blend. Since ditching analogs, I have a pretty discerning palate, and I can usually tell (with one pull) which of my juices is in any unmarked carto. Dekang juices, unlike most other brands I've tried, is consistent in taste from order to order, which is one of the main reasons I continue buying it...no suprises. As they say, though, "taste is subjective"...Brussels sprouts. PS - I know my recommendations may not carry much weight with you now, but IKV RY4 Gold PG is one that a vaping buddy of mine really likes, but I liked it, too, sooooo... From their website: "IKV authentic RY4 E-liquid Smokey, nutty, and caramelly tobacco fine tuned for perfection with a constant clean burn guaranteed with a 80/20 PG/VG ratio This e-liquid has been a year in the making of recreating the legendary lost flavor of the Real RY4. Try the e-liquid that had have gotten thousands off of smoking, what has been a cornerstone in the vaping world. Many stores across the world tried to duplicate the flavor by using series upon series of concoctions. If you are reading this listing, this means you probably have been chasing the old reminiscent of the lost flavor. Look no further and pick up the flavor one last time and you will be amazed. With steeping comes Greatness. When this liquid is stored in a dark, cool area, the color will start to darken creating a beautiful blast of flavor."
  17. When dripping, I typically use EmpireMods Premium Bridge Free LR901 1.5Ω atties now, but a couple of months ago, when I was trying out different atomizers, I ordered a couple of EmpireMods Bridge Free Dual Coil LR306 1.5Ω atties to see how they performed. I was not very impressed by them. I know that, with dual coil cartos, you're supposed to hit them with twice the power because they have two coils. This does not seem to be the case, though, with the dual coil 306 atties. Anything much higher than 4v (roughly 5 watts per coil) results in a burnt taste, and 5 watts or less per coil is just too weak for my taste...at least with these DC atties. Am I missing something? Are they wired differently than dual coil cartos? Where do you set your voltage/wattage to get a good vape with your DC drip atties? EmpireMods Bridge Free Dual Coil LR306 1.5Ω
  18. Maybe the "Triple Stack" will be better, and if not, I'm sure the "Quadruple Stack" will be awesome, but if that's not, then...
  19. @ Tameiki - I just ordered a couple of these at Sweet Vapes on sale for $2.95 each, and decided to do a little research on them while I'm waiting on them to arrive. I found the video (posted below) last night on YouTube. Do they really perform as shown in the video? If so, they truly are amazing little clearos!
  20. You should be fine with 50/50 (or even thicker, for that matter). If given a blend option, I prefer 80PG/20VG because, as a "sometimes" tank user, thinner blends tend to wick a little better, and as a "sometimes" carto user, they soak into the poly-fill faster. I also enjoy the higher PG juice blends' stronger flavors.
  21. I do like the ceramic tips as well, but the plastic ones are probably just a little less likely to break on me when I'm clumsy.
  22. Are you suggesting that one may out-wick the other by design, providing more liquid through the coil and resulting in stronger flavor? I'd buy that in theory, but I still can't tell any discernible difference in taste or performance between them when equally powered. With the right juice, I get excellent flavor from both setups, but no difference in flavor between the two.
  23. Just in case 3500mAh isn't enough for you, Super T has Trustfire 26650 Protected 3.7v 5000mAh batteries for $13.45.
