  1. Has anyone here tried the Vision Eternity rebuildable atomizer? If so, how would you rate it?
  2. After all this time, I still can't decide. I vape cartos at work and love 'em. At home, I'm currently liking my Artemas Locking Tank with a single-coil CE2 in it the best, but dripping runs a close second (or is it the other way around?)...I can't decide.
  3. On the surface, it sounds like an allergic reaction to either PG or VG. I don't know the ingredients in the juice you bought, but don't panic. From everything I've heard, people that are allergic to e-liquids are usually allergic to the propylene glycol in PG-based e-liquids, but can tolerate the vegetable glycerine in VG-based e-liquids with no problem. I've not heard of any cases where a vaper was allergic to both. From the Electronic Cigarette Weekly article entitled "PG vs VG, what's right for you?": "As with anything, some people may be allergic to either PG or VG. These allergies are typically very minor and are noticed by tightness or a tingling sensation on the jaw. A small percentage of people, around 2%, develop more serious irritations. If you find yourself having an allergic reaction to one, try the other." EC Blend has a good selection of All Natural & Organic 100% VG and 100% VG Base juices at very reasonable prices (5 ml. sample bottles for $2 with coupon code) and fast shipping. Use coupon code: 10020 to receive 20% off any e-juice order.
  4. Carto tanks. Less filling...tastes great.
  5. I tried to "Like" your post, but apparently, I have reached my daily quota of like. This is what happens when you like too much.
  6. Great review! I really enjoyed your presentation. It's pretty cool to hear that they're making the battery tube out of plastic now. I know that for me, the main drawback to the metal convenience store brands was that I couldn't hold them between my teeth comfortably. Maybe the light weight of this next incarnation of e cigs will provide a better experience for first-time vapers.
  7. I've tried several cigarette-style e-cigs, and still use them from time to time, but only when I want a really light vape. If you want to try a PV that really puts out vapor/throat hit/flavor, I'd suggest the $21 Vision Spinner 1300mAh paired with a five-pack of Boge SR 3Ω cartomizers for $5.50. With the Spinner, you can dial up the voltage to increase power to the cartomizer, giving you a warmer, more flavorful vape. Yeah, it's a little longer and wider than an e-cig, but for the price and performance, it's really a great device. YMMV PS - Drip tips make topping off cartos much easier.
  8. Mini eGo...small but less vape time...around 4 hours.
  9. Where do you prefer to relax and have a vape? My cozy li'l nook.
  10. *UPDATE* I am now running the EmpireMods Bridge Free Dual Coil LR306 1.5Ω atty on my Zmax at 13 watts (6½ watts per coil, <3 amps) with no ill effects. I hesitate to take it any higher until I get dual 18350s because of the boost circuit's supposed (by Phil Busardo, Steve K.*, & others) amp limitation when using a single 18650. I don't know what happened, but the burnt taste is gone now and the performance is exceptional. I guess I just didn't let it break in long enough. Go figure. * From Steve K.'s "The Variable Voltage and Wattage Sigelei ZMAX Review": "The reason for dual batteries is simple power. Using a single battery, the ZMAX seems to be stuck around 2.5a of capacity much like most other variable voltage devices out there. However, using dual batteries the ZMAX seems capable of handling loads of 4a or more."
  11. I don't own one yet, but I've never heard a single complaint about their quality of workmanship or performance...quite the opposite, actually. I'd say it's a safe bet that you'll be completely satisfied with a ProVari. There may be some comparable devices available, but in my opinion (subject to rebuttal), it certainly doesn't get any better.
  12. Don't that just scream desert island? If you're gonna dream, you might as well go big, right?
  13. jeffb and mcquinn offer good advice on "something more". With today's easy-to-use designs coupled with low prices on variable voltage PVs, why not go ahead and get something that will take your vaping experience to the next level and beyond? I'll toss another similar option your way. At roughly the same length as an eGo-C Twist 900mAh, the $21 Vision Spinner 1300mAh goes a really long time between charges. You'll need the charger ($2.99), and I'd recommend Boge 3Ω cartomizers ($5.50). With a 3Ω cartomizer, the maximum power you can achieve using a Twist/Spinner is slightly little less than 8 watts...a great vape IMO without much risk of burning out the cartomizer's coil. Total cost at VapeLite for the Vision Spinner, charger, and a box of five cartos...$32.49 shipped. PS - Don't forget the e-liquid.
  14. Alright. Due to circumstances beyond your control, you're about to be stranded on an uncharted desert island. Sux...I know, right? Well, it seems as though, due to circumstances within your control, you get to pick just one vaping rig and supplies to keep it running until you get rescued. What do you grab? Psst...don't forget the juice. Difficulty: Posts must be accompanied by a picture of said rig *. Oh, yeah...you get a solar powered charger & some sunblock, too. * Stock photos are fine. Begin.
  15. Have you tried any of the other juices in the Vapenstein Blend Line from want2vape.com besides London? Paris' description from the product page looks pretty interesting: "I've always said that cigarettes were fast burning tubes of paper that delivered a mostly steamy, ashy smoke. Of course, the best of them don't fit that description. There are a few brands that are enjoyable in the same fashion that other great tobacco is enjoyable. I used to adore French brand Gauloises, and Players Navy Cut too. I actually used to smoke the Balkan Sobranie cigarettes regularly back when they were still available. This juice is perhaps the most collaborative of the Vapenstein Blend line. What makes this one possible more than anything else are new procedures that Donley has been developing and refining for the last few months, so the kudos go to him on this one, from me as well. Thanks buddy, you really outdid yourself. This one is an homage to the cigarette. A really good cigarette. Whether your fancy runs toward the traditional American full flavor, or the more obscure European unfiltered, we think you will appreciate what this juice brings to the table. Enjoy! --Dr. V **note that Vapenstein Blend Paris is 100% VG instead of our usual 70/30 ratio."

    New to RBA's?

Uma. You must be psychic.I almost PMed you yesterday evening to ask if you thought a new thread about RBA setup and maintenance is something you might wanna take the helm of, 'cause I know from your previous posts that if anyone here knows about the mechanics of RBAs, it's you. Glad you started this thread. I look forward to learning something new. Rixter
  19. Hi ArnoldSmith. Welcome to a very interesting & educated community of folks who all enjoy personal vaporizers. I suppose all of us have at least one thing in common...the love of vaping, and at least a mild curiosity about all the cool gear, exotic flavors, and "necessary" accessories that go along with being a vaping enthusiast. Most folks here are pretty happy to share information with you when you find yourself in a jam, or are looking for a certain type or flavor of e liquid, or need to find the best price on Brand-X. I usually get answers or replies really fast because there are some pretty experienced members at VTF, and they enjoy teaching what they know. Well, just wanted to say "Hi" back and hope you learn as much here about the things that interest you as I have. Rixter

    Aga-T+ (Aka V2)

Does anyone know of any YouTube videos that show how to set up the AGA Tiamat PLUS, including info on SS mesh and coils? I am a complete noob when it comes to RBAs, so I'm basically looking for "An Idiot's Guide To RBAs".
  21. Uma. I hope you realize that you are putting a huge dent in my ProVari budget. If I'm gonna get an RBA, I want the best performing one, and they cost more than my most expensive mod. Although the "DID" is the genuine article, are there others that are better, or is the "DID" the best available?
