  1. Got a pic of the two together? If it's close enough, I could just get her a purple one and a black one (for her black Spinner) so both PVs will look identical (except for color, obviously).
  2. Actually, my wife already has a black Spinner with a black eGo cone on it, and I wanted to get her an identical setup only in purple. I can't seem to find a matching eGo cone for the purple Spinner anywhere.
  3. Does anyone know where to buy a matching cone for the purple Spinner that GotVapes sells? They've got the Genuine Joyetech eGo Cones in purple, but it looks to be a different shade of purple.
  4. It's official. Stacked 18350s perform better than a single 18650. I'd heard that using a single 18650 limits the current to around 2.5 amps, while stacked 18350s allow around 4 amps. All I can say is that when I was using an 18650-powered Zmax in variable power mode with a 1½Ω dual-coil 306 drip atty, there really wasn't much difference in the vape above 13 watts. With stacked 18350s, I've been vaping at 15 watts, and you can definitely tell the difference between 13 watts (6½ watts per coil) and 15 watts (7½ watts per coil). When in variable voltage mode, I can set the Zmax to 4.9v and achieve 16 watts (8 watts per coil) while keeping well below the 4 amp limit (3¼ amps). This is the best vaping experience I've had to date.
  5. Just gettin' ready for "Rixter's RY4 Shootout". So far, the contestants will be Dekang's RY4, Janty's Elixir PG RY4, Vapor Talk's Dulcis, and Ikenvape's RY4 PG Gold. I'm planning a blind taste test with a few of my vaping friends once everything arrives. Stay tuned...same vape time...same vape station!
  6. Depending on how much power you're applying to the atomizer's coil, you can figure roughly 2-3 pulls per drop. With most drip atties, you can drip 3-4 drops in without flooding or leaking. It's usually kind of hard to flood a drip atomizer because before it gets to the point of submerging the coil, the juice will just leak out the bottom of the atty and all over you. With a drip shield installed, you can (conveniently) put much more e liquid (say, 8-10 drops) in your atomizer at a time, and any leaking e juice is trapped inside the drip shield between two o-rings. If your flavor/vapor drops off, you can just take a quick, unpowered pull on the atty and that will cause the extra liquid inside the shield to be drawn back up into the atty for you to vape. The gurgling you might hear when using a drip shield is just the extra juice being sucked back into the atomizer's housing...it's completely normal. Some atties I've used gurgle a little without a drip shield, but it's basically the same deal...juice being pulled up from the depths of the atty and closer to the coil and wick.

Would you happen to know the I.D., O.D., & thickness of the washers?
  8. Has anybody had the chance to try the FC-2000 Ceramic Wicks yet?
  9. Early birthday present. (I'll try to act really surprised when it arrives. )
  10. From myvaporstore.com: AGA-T Plus - $25.78 shipped
  11. I just tried to place a repeat order for Comfort Tips...no dice! Same problem with their website as before...now even on my smartphone. I will tailpipe before I use another smokelessimage.com comfort tip (or anything else they have).
  12. I'm finally gonna get to see how my Zmax responds to stacked 18350s! From VaporKings: Christopher...I apologize for having to use that coupon code. Think you can you get them to give us one?
  13. From SureVapes: Boge Mix'n'Match Cartomizers (5 Boxes) Box 1: SR Stainless 3.0 Box 2: SR Stainless 3.0 Box 3: SR Stainless 3.0 Box 4: SR Stainless 3.0 Box 5: SR Stainless 3.0 $23.00 x 1 $23.00 + FREE SHIPPING
  14. I've not tried rebuilding a CE2 tank carto, but at less than $2 a piece, I have no problem tossing them and popping in a fresh one when the draw gets tight (which hasn't happened yet after several weeks of use). I keep waiting on my 3Ω single coil CE2 to die so I can replace it with a new LR dual-coil CE2 I just got, but the single-coil just won't die! In my opinion, they taste just as good as a poly-filled tank carto, but I haven't experienced any leaking like I did with regular tank cartos. I can also say that, at least in my experience, the CE2s don't require the power that poly-filled cartos need to give you great taste, throat hit, and vapor. At 6 watts, my single-coil CE2 behaves like my old single-coil tank cartos did at 8+ watts. It's like the coil gets hotter with less power for some reason. Maybe it's because, as you can see in the photo below, the coil is very exposed to the draw path. It's almost like a drip atty coil instead of a coil surrounded by poly-fill, as in traditional tank cartos.
  15. Well, what do you think about the Nano?
  16. I have been waiting to get my hands on some Dulcis since I first heard the hype. I found out about it on an English language Russian vaping forum of all places. Apparently, word travels pretty far about a good RY4.
  17. Call me paranoid, but I've often wondered what juices that crack tanks do to your lungs. I'm just sayin'...
  18. Yeah, it did seem a little odd, but in their defense, I did ask them if they wanted me to send it back once they told me they'd ship out a replacement. To be honest, I kinda figured they'd say, "Nah...it's our bad...just keep it". Surely they won't resell it. It sort of creeps me out now that I think about a juice vendor taking returns. *ATTENTION JUICE VENDORS* In the future, if you send the wrong product to a customer, it's probably a good idea to just write it off and fast-ship the right product to them. *THAT IS ALL*
  19. I know this doesn't answer you question about punching cartos, but you should try these out. I've completely ditched poly-filled cartos since trying my first SmokTech CE2 tank carto, and I've yet to have the first leak or gurgle. They come in 1.5Ω DC, 2Ω DC, and 3Ω SC, and shipping is fast. I've been using them for weeks now and have zero complaints. If you wanna stick with the Boges, though, you can get five pre-punched Boge 2Ω or 3Ω single-coil tank cartos (regular or XL) from Sweet Vapes for $7.95 + shipping, or five Boge 1.6Ω F16 single-coil tank cartos from Sure Vapes for $5.99 shipped. I'm sure that there are plenty of other vendors selling pre-punched Boges...those were just the first two that came to mind. One more thing. I find that using a tank filler drip tip makes inserting the carto through the internal tank o-rings a lot easier. It also helps when it's time to remove the tank from the carto because it gives you something to push against. Oh, yeah...it makes filling your tank a cinch.
  20. While at work, I pretty much stick with Boge cartos because they're just about fail-safe and taste great, but away from work, I switch juicers and PVs constantly. I just like the way each one has its own subtle differences, even when using the same flavor of juice. Of course, I do have my favorites. At the moment, I'm especially fond of the Sigelei Zmax and Artemas Locking DCT combination, loaded with a CE2 tank carto and filled with Dekang DK-TAB 18 mg. It's set at 7 watts and performs beautifully.
  21. I just opened my package from Janty, which was supposed to contain one 15 ml. bottle of Elixir RY4 PG 24 mg. It did not. It contained one 15 ml. bottle of Elixir RY4 VG 24 mg. I never buy 100% VG any more because it doesn't have the same strong taste or throat hit that PG offers, but while the flavor is great, it's really weak. This juice packs one hell of a throat hit, however, and produces some of the thickest vapor I've ever seen! I emailed Janty and let them know about the mix up, so I'm hoping that they'll send me out the PG version quickly. *UPDATE* I just got off the phone with a very nice lady (with a very British accent) from Janty. She was very apologetic and told me that they will ship out a bottle of Elixir RY4 PG straight away. They are including a return envelope for me to send the wrong product back in.
  22. Ooooooh...don't let Uma hear you say that.
  23. Just for kicks, let's compare apples to bazookas: Vision eGo Spinner 1300mAh Variable Voltage (3.3-4.8v) battery - $21.00 (No need for two batteries totaling 560mAh when you have well over twice that much battery life with one Spinner) 510 USB Battery Charger - $2.99 USB Wall Charger - $2.50 Boge 510 Stainless Steel Cartomizers 2Ω or 3Ω (five pack) - $5.50 Drip Tip - $1.99 Shipping - $3.00 Total: $36.98 E-liquid from $2.00 to $2.95 per 10 ml., depending on brand and quantity ordered. Dekang five-packs are usually $10.00.
