  1. How long between charges on the Bombshell Stinger (un-Kicked)?
  2. Now available in a flat top model for a more "hybrid" look when using tanks or RBAs.

    Aga-T+ (Aka V2)

Just a little update on how things are going with my AGA-T since I finally worked out the kinks. I replaced the plastic tank today with a Pyrex one, and after cleaning everything up, I re-fitted the wick, this time opting for one less wrap (4/3 32g x2 twisted), making it a consistent 1.1Ω. I've got in on a Telescope Mech Mod with a TrustFire 3000mAh IC protected 18650. At 4.1v fresh off the charger, I figure I'm puffin' at around 15 watts, which I didn't even think was possible with a single ultra-low resistance coil. My juices taste so much more intense now, and vapor production is phenomenal. If you don't have an AGA-T+/2, get one...they may be cheap, but you'd never know it by how they look, feel, or perform.
  4. 50 ml curved glass flask w/dropper top & a really cool label.
  5. I love Boge F16 tanks. They're surprisingly well-built, and I've used mine without issue since I first got them many months ago. The ±1.6Ω SC cartos that come with 'em have always worked very well for me , but I know there are lots of bad cartos hiding out there. I suggest maybe switching over to another brand of tank carto and see if that helps. I like dual-coil CE2 style tank style cartos versus poly-filled, personally.
  6. Do a Google search for hot water e-liquid steeping...it's what I do with my new juices that aren't quite right.
  7. Barring a defective coil, it'll be perfectly fine up to 8 watts. Not saying that you can't take it higher than that, but anything more than that and it's a crapshoot.
  8. VariTube has these in a kit for $89.95 shipped, or just the APV body for $79.95 shipped, and it is Kanger Clearomizer compatible (eGo threaded). The kit includes: - 1 Zmax Telescope Body - 1 18350, & 1 18650 for optimum set up - 1 charger - 1 Zipper Case - 1 1.6ml 2.8ohm Clearo
  9. Those are some really beautiful mods.
  10. 10¼ watts! You go, girl!
  11. To prevent coil burnout, "safe" vaping occurs between 4.5 and 8 watts. If you want to know where to set your voltage, just find the square root of the product of the wattage you desire times the carto/atty/tank's resistance. For example, if you want to vape at 8 watts, and have a 2Ω cartomizer, just multiply 8 by 2, and you get 16. The square root of 16 is 4. You need to set your variable voltage device at 4 volts to achieve 8 watts. Using your 2.4Ω heads, 8 watts will occur at 4.4v on your PV (2.4 x 8 = 19.2...the square root of 19.2 is slightly less than 4.4...4.38 actually). It sounds like a lot of math, but it gets easy once you've done it a couple of times. If math isn't your strong suit, by all means, use a calculator, or just click here.
  12. If you wanna try some good drip atties that won't break the bank, VapeLite.info has Boge 510 atomizers in standard and low resistance for $3.50...that is if Tameiki hasn't bought up all their stock in one whack again. Shipping on small orders is currently $3
  13. Yes, it is. That should help to keep things cooler on the lips than with the metal drip tips I've used on my RBA...metal tips get really hot. Plus, as I mentioned earlier, the casing is aluminum. I've seen several bullet tips online, but this one seems to be the most realistic looking.
  14. I've been eyeballing these 9mm drip tips for a while. Finally bought one tonight from HotVapes.com for $16.90 shipped, using coupon code Swisher6 for 10% off. It's got a delrin "bullet" in an aluminum casing. I think it'll look pretty menacing on my AGA-T+...make that an AGA-T2 (yeah, I bought the glass tank for it from MVS, too).

    batteries

The only thing that concerns me about using IMRs in a mechanical mod is that there's no protection against under-voltage. Protected batteries will shut the current off when the voltage drops below a certain point. My 2¢. @Uma - Do you know of any device (similar in design to Holocron Lab's Short Stop) that protects against under-voltage?
  16. I'm pretty sure that the Vision Neptune (STV, SuperNova, or V5...depending on the vendor) predates the Kanger MT3 & EVOD by a good bit. I posted a pic of a Neptune when they first showed up some time last year, but I can't seem to find said post now. A Google search yielded reviews from October of last year.
  17. *UPDATE* As luck would have it, the spare O-rings that came with my AGA-T PLUS Rebuildable Atomizer from MyVaporStore.com work perfectly as spacers to extend my Telescope mech mod just enough for my Trustfire Protected 18650 3000mAh (ButtonTop) battery to fit and work properly. MyVaporStore.com sells the Spare O-Rings for the AGA-T Plus for 50¢ each. Two AGA-T+ top-cap O-rings, one at each end = Victory!!!
  18. Too bad it's too long to fit. The protection circuitry adds an additional 3mm making it slightly more than 68mm long (18690 ). It won't even fit in my Sigelei Zmax without using the extender cap (for use with dual 18350s). I think if I can come up with a suitable gasket or spacer to go between the 18350 tube and 18650 extension tube, it'll be alright, because it only needs about a ¼-½mm more room inside, and when I unscrew the two tubes about a turn and a half, it's okay. I suppose that I could grind down the negative contact post a little and it would be fine, but I really hate to break out the power tools on a brand new mod.
  19. I was just browsing through the latest posts on and couldn't help noticing how many folks here at VT have been ordering Kanger EVODs. Well...I think it's safe to say that they won't be disappointed. The Kanger EVOD is hands down the best clearo I've ever used. No other clearomizer I've tried is even in the same league. In fact, it's the only juicer (besides Boge cartos, of course) that I feel confident enough with to take to work with me every day and not have to worry about gurgles or leaks. I've been using one for about a month now (with the original atty still installed), and it's still just as great as the new one I received in yesterday's mail. My first EVOD (a black one for my black Vision Spinner 400mAh) holds the distinction of being the first clearomizer that I've ever tried that was good enough to warrant ordering a second one (a SS one for my SS eGo VV 650mAh). Glad to see that Kanger got it right with this little gem.
  20. Couldn't be happier with it. It's the cheapest one I could find, but it's machined from stainless steel, not stamped metal, and works flawlessly (what could go wrong with a mod that has zero circuitry?).
  21. The Ginger's RY4 is excellent. So is the TVR RY4. The Ginger's is a little sweeter, and the TVR has more tobacco flavor. Both are keepers. The most surprizing thing (to me) is how much I enjoy the Sweet Tarts juice. It does taste just like Smarties...I know this because I ran out and bought some Smarties just to check. It seems that it's made its way into my daily rotation now, but not as an all-day vape.
  22. This week, I bought one Trustfire Protected 18650 3000mAh (ButtonTop) from SureVapes.com for my mech mod. $9.99 shipped. Click here for some test results. I also picked up another Kanger EVOD clearomizer (stainless steel), three 2.2Ω replacement EVOD atties, and a glass tank for my AGA-T+...all from GotVapes.com. $18.29 shipped.
  23. I meant to say "AW IMR 18350s".
