  1. You use your original KTP bottom plate with the Tatroe Tank, so since EVOD coils work fine in an original KTP, I'd say yes, but then again, I don't own a Tatroe Tank...yet.
  2. CigTechs.com is now selling Tatroe Tanks, which are direct replacements for your Kanger ProTank that hold more juice & allow you to use your own 510 drip tip. They also sell replacement bases for use with specific devices.
  3. The following video shows you step by step how to rebuild a Kanger ProTank head, but the same method will work for other BCC (bottom coil changeable) clearomizers as well. This information will definitely help in cases where your ProTank's draw begins to tighten up, the coil burns out, or for when you're experiencing gurgling and/or leaking. Enjoy. PS - This isn't the best tutorial I've seen about how to do this, but I plan to make my own video that will include some improved (hopefully) methods. I'll post it as soon as possible.
  4. I don't want to hijack Tam's thread, so I'll just say that for a good first time RBA, I highly recommend the Youde's AGA-T2. It is really the easiest RBA to get started with, and comes with everything you need to get you going. As for rebuilding a KPT (and other clearos), keep your eyes on the new content here at VT because I'm in the process of starting a new thread about just how to do it.
  5. Do you mean how to re/coil & re-wick a KPT head, or are you wanting to get started with RBAs?
  6. Now that you've learned how to roll your own coils, you won't ever have buy replacement heads for your eGo clearomizers again. Instead of tossing and replacing your burned out or stopped up clearo atties, just re-wick and re-coil them. This is also true for EVOD, T3S, & Pro Tank heads. For LR, I use a 4/3 wrap of Kanthal A-1 32 gauge wire around 2mm silica wick with another 2mm "flavor wick" on top of the coil, and the gurgling & leaking is a thing of the past. For SR, just add another wrap (5/4). You can even use a rolled stainless steel wick (like in a Genesis RBA).
  7. I wonder if it'll ruin the gaskets in my AGA-T2, AGT, or AGI RBAs.
  8. Check out this link & this one, too. USE COUPON CODE VAPORJOE6OFF TO BRING THE TOTAL TO $45.11 BONUS: $1.99 FLAT RATE SHIPPING
  9. I have five mods that take 18650s, and I use the Samsungs from FastTech in all of them without issue. I can tell no difference between them and the AWs...except for the vast difference in price.
  10. I've never used Efest batteries myself, but I'm sure they'll do fine. I have some AW IMR 18650s (2000mAh) and 18350s (800mAh) that are really great batteries, but I recently started using Samsung ICR 18650s from FastTech because I can get them for $8.59 a pair, and they're 2600mAh.
  11. This is what I take to work with me every day.
  12. Thanks a million! Found it here.
  13. Does anyone know where I can find a chart that shows the pre-rolled width to cut my SS mesh for making RBA wicks of various diameters and styles (straw, solid, etc.)? I'm looking for one that includes #500 & #400.
  14. Oh, no, girl!!! Drop whatever it is you're doing right now! Go get it out and fire it up right this instant! You REALLY don't know what you're missing out on!
  15. I'm actually using the drip tip that came with my Vision ViVi Nova. It has the largest flue of any tip I have, so juice goes right through without hanging up. HH.357 with a ViVi Nova drip tip and eGo drip shield on a Sigelei Zmax
  16. Day 2: The RBAs are starting to get jealous now. I really want my RBAs to be better than this simple drip atty (I've got so much time and money invested in them), but the HH.357 is just such a flavor beast! I keep jumping back and forth between it and the RBAs trying to convince myself that it's all in my head. I even started vaping my "meh" juices in it, and guess what? They're not so "meh" in the HH.357. In fact, all of my juices' flavor seems to have doubled in this thing, and it produces these thick clouds of vapor that just blow me away every time I use it! Amazing!
  17. Since when is it cold enough to build an igloo in California?
  18. I totally agree...EV Cigarettes has the fastest shipping time of any vendor I've ever ordered anything from. I placed an order on a Saturday at around 12:30 pm and my stuff was in my mailbox on the fallowing Monday at 3:00 pm. I always get my orders from them in just a couple of days. They have a really good selection of vaping gear, too. Like ArnieH said, they may not be the cheapest, but they do have good prices, and the shipping speed definitely makes up for the extra pennies you'll spend.
  19. I know of only one mod explosion and that was with a homemade mod and the wrong batteries. All other incidents I've heard of happened during charging.
  20. I love mech mods because since there's no circuitry, they're perfect for providing unregulated power to rebuildable atomizers (RBAs), but for a first mod, I'd highly recommend the Sigelei Zmax Flat Top Telescope VW. VariTube.com has a complete starter kit for $84.95 shipped.
