Another plus is that you can re-coil the EVOD heads yourself so you won't have to keep buying replacement heads. There are tons of videos on YouTube explaining how to do it.

If you're wrapping the coil tightly, the wick will expand to fill the space when you slide the paperclip out...I use a sewing needle myself. I found trying to wrap around unsupported silica wick to be a major P.I.T.A.

No, because the silicon insulator/seal from the AGA-T2 keeps it lifted about 1/32" above the deck, but now that you mention it, I could've flipped the RSST's insulator upside down and put it between the spring and the AGA-T2 seal and accomplished the same thing. I'll do that when I break it down again.

I've been hearing a lot of chatter lately in the RBA community about micro-coils. For the uninformed, micro-coil means lots of wraps (10 or more) with the coils touching each other. Apparently, these touching wraps have the effect of counterbalancing the added resistance of the extra length of wire, which results in a coil resistance that isn't as high as it would be with separated coils of the same length of wire. The benefit is supposed to be more surface area of heating element, which means more vaporized juice at any given moment, which means more flavor. I've seen a lot of pictures of micro-coils on RDAs, but not much on Genesis RBAs, so I've been wondering if anybody here has had any experience with using micro-coils around a stainless steel Genesis wick. Most excellent trade in terms of the quality of vape you're gonna have. -
Well, it appears that the silicon seal from an AGA-T2 is a perfect replacement for the hard white plastic one in the RSST's top deck...and it stops the leaking. The positive post fits snugly through the AGA-T2 seal and prevents liquid from going through, unlike the stock RSST seal, which isn't really a seal at all, but more of an insulator only. I went one step further and took the top washer (more of a cup, actually) from the top of a ViVi Nova head and put it under the spring so the spring's bottom coil wouldn't cut into the silicon seal. A small SS washer would've probably been better, but it's all I had on hand. No more leaks...yet.

I like this Michonne better. -
FastTech's V3 Telescopic Mechanical Mod ($18.11 shipped) is my next take-to-work PV. It's made of brass for good conductivity & ruggedness, and will operate on any 18XXX IMR batteries between 18350 & 18650. You can also drop in a Kick Module to make it variable wattage. It's got a locking bottom fire button so it'll be pocket friendly, too. From the looks of it's 510 connection, it's a little limited as to what kind of juicer it'll take, but I only use cartomizers at work so it'll be just fine for that. I plan to order one this weekend.

Pluid changed my life, dude. Now I'm on a mission. With the exception of Dekang's DK Blend (formerly DK-TAB), which tastes great and is what I vape all day at work, I'm only buying top-notch juices to vape during my down time, regardless of the price.

I've posted this information elsewhere on this forum, but I found a juice review site called Vapor Rater which has some pretty interesting reviews & ratings for all sorts of gourmet juices. I double-checked some of their reviews with others from around the interweb and found them to be consistent. I've already placed my first order based on their review of Indigo Vapors Mint Choco Fusion. Indigo Vapors The Duke is next. For example, here's Vapor Rater's review of The Duke: Indigo Vapor The Duke, US, 50/50 PG/VG posted 12.15.2012 This is far from the first review I've written for Indigo's line of gourmet e-liquid, but with the exception of their Captain Ron, the others have all been for sweet, mostly fruity flavors. The Duke is Indigo's take on the classic straight tobacco e-juice and while they have generated quite a bit of buzz around some of their other flavors, particularly the Blue Ice and Captain Ron, The Duke has simply not spawned the same amount of chatter in the various vaping forums, but if you're looking for a big, rich, true tobacco e-liquid, look no further. While the latest trend in tobacco flavors has been leaning heavily towards the sweeter side, with many vendors putting an emphasis on additional components like caramel and vanilla, Indigo is bucking the trend, and going old school with a ridiculously smooth, bold, straightforward tobacco, that shifts the focus back to the leaf and lets the flavor carry the juice from start to finish. The flavor is remarkably true, invoking memories of the way a fresh pack of analogs smelled right as the foil is torn, or the way a fresh cigar smells of pure unadulterated tobacco. Helping to round out the flavor profile is a subtle, deep nuttiness that adds a sense of fullness and body while rounding out the earthy spice and acidity that the tobacco flavor imparts. All said, this is one of the purest, straight tobacco flavors I've had to date, and it's positively loaded with big, robust flavor. Like most tobacco based e-liquid, the sweet spot is quite wide making the juice a great option for those with or without variable voltage devices. I preferred it at an even 10 watts or 5v on a 2.5Ω atomizer which produced a tremendous throat hit, with enormous clouds of big, bold vapor. accuracy of flavor flavor density throat hit vapor production

Hate to sound uninformed, but what is it? -
I really wanted to like the RSST. It just looks so cool, and it even performs well, but it leaks from the 510 connection, which makes it my least favorite RBA at the moment. I've figured out that due to the spring hot lead capture design, juice is going right down the center shaft and straight out the bottom, which is unacceptable. I'm going to try changing out the top deck seal with one from an AGA-T2, and then replacing the spring setup with the nuts from the AGA-T2 and hopefully, that will stop the leaking. I'll post the results as soon as I have time to do the surgery.

Just a quick bump to let y'all know that the AGI (in Genny mode) is still performing flawlessly. I use it daily and I've had zero problems with it. One of the things that I really like about it is also one of the things I didn't like at first...the ridge around the top deck. You're right, Uma...I've found that when I refill the tank, that ridge keeps any liquid that's on the top deck from rolling off and down the side of my mod, which happens sometimes with my other RBAs. After using the AGI for a couple of weeks, I still love its looks and performance, and I think this would be a great RBA for anybody looking for one that won't break the bank.

The best part about The Walking Dead series is that it's not so much the zombies that you have to watch out for as it is other survivors that want to take your stuff. The Walking Dead is my favorite show EVER! From Callie's Kustoms: *3400 Zombie Response Limited Edition!* Same specs as our 3400 W/PCB 1mm Top below, but with the sweet Zombie Response decal. What zombie stands a chance when you're equipped with batteries like these? When the zombies come, Callie's Kustoms has got your back! $15.95 each -
Does it have as strong a flavor as Radiator Pluid?

I know...I know, but now that I've got a bottle of something THIS good, I want to try the others, too. Are all of Murdock's juices anise-based flavors, or is that just in Pluid and Agent Orange. Have you tried 710 or Maha Ras? VapingWatch doesn't include much of a description of the Murdock's juices: Maha Ras 115ML Mad Murdocks Maha Ras is the newest creation by Mad Murdock! Maha Ras is 9MG/ML Strength in the larger 115 Ml bottles. MM Agent Orange 115ML Mad Murdocks Agent Orange is named after the band Agent Orange and not the chemical used with devastating consequences in Vietnam. However we do appreciate the impact this has had on many adults and children. In recognition of this together with mad Murdock we support the Children of Vietnam charity: www.childrenofvietnam.org and we donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of MM Agent Orange. Please Note MM Agent Orange is 9 Mg Nic. 710 115ML New e-Liquid from the maker of Radiator Pluid, Mad Murdock. 9MG Strength

Taste is subjective, as they say a lot in the vaping community, but if you're looking for something that tastes a lot like a Black & Mild (to me, anyway), I'd suggest trying a sample bottle of DK-555 from EC Blend. The first thing I thought when I tried it was "Black & Mild", and I keep a tank loaded with it. A 5 ml. bottle of 24 mg. will cost you $2.75 (24 mg. costs a little more) + shipping. Use coupon code "10020" for a 20% discount. If you like it, you can get a pretty big discount on bigger quantities: 8 oz (250 ml) 65.00 4 oz (125 ml) 35.00 50 ml 14.65 30 ml $8.99 15 ml $5.95 5 ml $2.50 If you're trying to get away from Black & Milds altogether, they carry hundreds of different flavors as well as quality gear to vape it with.
