  1. Seriously...I plan to mix up my yellow tail sushi e-liquid in a soy sauce bottle.
  2. Yeah, you shouldn't have to adjust your Kick's setting once you find your preferred power level for your juice. The e-liquid's performance is the most important thing to consider when determining that setting. The Kick is designed to keep the power to the coil at a constant level as your battery discharges.
  3. 4. Since I don't have a KPT2, I wasn't sure if the bases were the same, but after some snooping, it appears that they are. Yeah, Spydre, you just screw the Tatroe Tank onto your KPT (1 or 2) base. The Tatroe Tank predates the KPT2 and gave people the ability to use their own drip tips while enjoying the KPT vaping experience without fear of shattering glass.
  5. I haven't tried any of those, but I've had my eyes on the Absinthe for a minute. I'll probably get some on my next order. I'm a regular customer of EC Blends', and I can tell you that they have some great juices and some of the best prices anywhere. I've tried too many of their flavors to list, but a few of the more notable ones (ones I continue to buy when I run low) are: Caramel Macchiato Chocolate Malt Nuclear Cinnamon Fireball 555 Dirty Ashtray Vanilla Bourbon Cigar Cuban Gold Let us know how the Absinthe is if you decide to give 'em a shot.
  6. I knew from the product pages not to use them in a plastic DD, so I put some (Nuclear Cinnamon Fireball) in a carto thinking I'd be okay with that...but I forgot about the clear drip tip being plastic. A little while later, I noticed that what used to be a clear drip tip was now a white drip tip, so I took it out. The bottom was starting to deform! It actually melted the plastic on the bottom and inside the flue turning it milky white!
  7. Well, don't act so surprised...you knew it was bound to happen sooner or later! I traded a rarely used RBA for it.
  8. I really don't think it's the voltage you're vaping it at as much as the ingredients in it. I vape EC Blends' Nuclear Cinnamon Fireball & Apocalypse Juice's Resurrection, both of which are what I consider to be extreme cinnamon eliquids, but I don't vape 'em for extended periods of time. For me, it's sort of like a little kick in the taste-buds between vaping other (more reasonable) flavors. By the way, both of these juices don't just cloud plastic tanks...they destroy plastic tanks. They even melt plastic drip tips (ask me how I know). I don't inhale either one. It's strictly about the taste on these.
  9. I plan on doing a full review this weekend, but I can tell you now that it works as advertised, it's incredibly lightweight, and the only thing easier than pressing the fire button would be willing it on...it's that smooth. I going to try it out for a few days to see if there are any unforeseen surprises in store for me, but if not, I see several of these (in various colors, of course) in my very near future. I really cannot believe that this is a sub-$50 hybrid.
  10. ...and Crest Pro Health mouthwash. It seems there are about as many "proven" remedies for clogged atties as there are clogged atties.
  11. Just ordered 50ml of Dekang DK-TAB ($12.63 shipped from MadVapes) to hold me over 'til my DIY supplies come in.
  12. While I do like some of the more high-end "gourmet" juices on the market, I always keep a supply of EC Blend's Caramel Macchiato, Chocolate Malt, and Nuclear Cinnamon Fireball on hand for me-time. Their Caramel Macchiato is my morning vape every day, and has been for a really long time. They're a great juice company with excellent prices.
  13. On their homepage, it says, "Current Processing Time: 4-5 days". They must be a little back-logged. Looks like the custom eLiquid business is good.
  14. I've found that it's not so much the voltage that you're set at as it is the current you're using, and 6v on a 4.6Ω coil is only 1.3 amps, and a little under 8 watts. You should be fine at those numbers. Just don't forget to lower your voltage when you change out atties so you don't pop a new one. *EDIT* By comparison, a 1.5Ω coil powered by 3.4v yields about the same power (just under 8 watts), but now your current is 2¼ amps, which will deplete your battery's charge quicker.
  15. In Genesis mode, it's just like an AGA-T2. The coil is wrapped around a vertical rolled SS wick inserted through the top deck and down into the tank.
  16. The reason I ask this question is because I have a UD AGI, which is convertible between the two formats, but I hesitate changing to RDA mode if the Genesis-style offers a superior vape experience. Genesis mode vs dripping mode.
  17. For those of you who own RBAs and RDAs, which do you prefer and why?
  18. I bought a gold one from vaportekusa.com for $45.22 shipped using coupon code "VAPORJOE6OFF".
  19. There is a product called Flavor Flush from Texas Select Vapor that's supposed renew clogged atties and eliminate lingering flavors...they recommend using it regularly to keep your atties from clogging in the first place ("You can use this product as often as you choose, but we recommend using this product in your atomizers once a week or so for maintaining them and performing a "Flavor Flush"). Click here for a review. From the review: "...My wife told me her atomizer felt a bit clogged up and wanted a new one. First thing that came to mind was “She can be my test victim!”. We read the instructions on the website carefully and followed each step as said, letting the atomizer sit with the flavor flush inside and instead of letting it sit for 15 minutes, I let it sit over night. The next day, I woke up and blew out the flavor flush that was still left inside and filled it back up with my wife’s favorite e-liquid. She took a few pulls and to her amazement, it actually worked! I tried it out myself and I can honestly say that the atomizer was just like new. Have your doubts? – Try it for yourself and see…"
