  1. It's a Sigelei Zmax wrapped with a mahogany wrap from Vapor Skinz. They have a pretty good selection of Zmax wraps, As far as the button issue goes, sometimes it doesn't fire when I press the button, or starts going through the menu. When it happens, I just rapidly press the button (like I'm scrolling through the menu) about 10 or 15 times, wait until the menu goes away, and everything is fine. I just figured the switch had gotten a little e-juice residue (from my fingers) on it, but I don't know how to take it apart (okay...I'm afraid to take it apart.) to clean it.
  2. My current collection of wide-bodies. Left to right: Sigelei Zmax w/ HH.357 Atty & Drip Shield Smoktech Natural w/ AGA-T2 RBA Kamry KTS+ w/ AGT RBA Rainbow Heaven Hybrid Elite Kamry KTS+ w/ AGI RBA Grand Vapor Sentenel V3 (clone) w/ Kicked Tatroe Tank Telescope Rocket w/ AGA-S RBA Grand Vapor Private V2 (clone) w/ Cobra (clone) RBA
  3. I saw that mod elsewhere, but figured I'd use something from the spare parts bin before I bought Chicago screws. I'm not getting any voltage drop at all now...at least none that my meter is detecting.
  4. I came up with a very simple fix for your switch that is so easy it's scary. The spring that makes contact with the bottom of the battery has way to much resistance, so you have to bypass it. Take the top metal piece out of a CE5 clearo head and sand down the short end (not the pointed end) flush with the flange. Press the pointed end into the top of the switch spring and you're done. When you snug your tubes down with the battery inside, it makes direct contact between the negative side of the battery and the spring floor plate. Before & after sanding using 220 grit sandpaper on a flat suface (it took about 30 seconds). The little curl-back in the top of the spring holds the bypass firmly in place so it doesn't fall out when you change out batteries. Massive improvement!!! *EDIT* Since not all batteries are exactly the same length, I'd sand a little off at a time, periodically checking to see if your tubes will snug down all the way using your particular battery. In order for this to work properly, you'll need to sand off just enough for your tube seams to close all the way, effectively bypassing the spring and making good contact with the spring floor plate when snugged down.
  5. Sounds like you've done everything that you are willing or able to do. Based on the hardware you listed above, I don't know of a single thing you might try differently. I currently own 15 PVs and even more delivery devices (RBAs, cartomizers, clearomizers, glassomizers, atomizers, etc.) and the only time I ever get a burnt taste is when a carto runs dry and burns the poly-fill. Juicers with a silica or rolled stainless steel wick may burn my throat when dry, but never give me a burnt taste. I use an 80PG/20VG blend that is thin enough to keep wicking no matter how much power I put to the coil (some of my RBAs are running at 15+ watts on a single coil with zero burnt taste). @jeffb - I started to recommend the EVOD, but he's having the same deal with the KPT2. PS - did you try dialing down the voltage? lol
  6. I have no problems with reptiles, but if I looked down and saw this on me (or near me), I can pretty much guarantee that it's bite wouldn't be what kills me...it would be the massive heart attack! Man, I HATE spiders!!! I've got a serious case of arachnophobia. *EDIT* I just read the original post, so don't get me wrong...I'm not saying, "Squish it!!!", but (shivers) they really do creep me out!
  7. I was having trouble finding live mice for my python locally because the pet shops here stopped selling them...now they sell frozen ones (thanks, PETA). I didn't even know that a python would eat anything that wasn't alive, but they will, so now I take a mouse-sized piece of chicken or beef, put it in a small Ziploc baggie and drop it into a cup of warm water for a little bit to warm it up. My snake strikes and constricts the meat and then eats it with no problem. I've been doing this for a couple of months now and the snake seems to be healthy. Anybody else try this?
  8. I love it. The only modification I've made was to open up the air hole slightly using a dental pick because it was just a little too small. Other than that, it's been a real pleasure to use. You won't be sorry. I'm gonna be buying a couple more in different colors soon.
  9. Well, less than two hours to go 'til the season premier of The Walking Dead begins. It's called "30 Days Without an Accident". Everybody got your Zombie Hammer ready?
  10. I use Everclear Pure Grain Alcohol, which is available at your local package store, is really cheap, and is not poisonous to ingest (or no more so than any other alcoholic beverage). Probably the best reason not to use isopropyl alcohol to clean your vaping gear is because it sometimes contains ingredients that make it unpalatable to prevent people from drinking it. Those ingredients are bound to affect the taste of your juices.
  11. I have a Sigelei Zmax that has the same feature, but the only problem with using it for checking resistance is that you have to press the fire button to get a resistance reading, which hits the coil with current. An ohmmeter doesn't.
  12. You can get the 350mAh version for $10.61 shipped here. *UPDATE* I never really noticed before, but I just checked the voltage on my minis fresh off the charger...4.1v.
  13. All good guesses on what juicers I have on my mini eGos, but unfortunately, you guys were giving me just a little too much credit. Both mini eGos pictured are sporting Boge LR cartos and eGo cones. IMHO, are the HH.357 of the cartomizer world, and are the most pocket-friendly, reliable, and hassle-free delivery device for someone on the go. Also, I know that some eGo minis start out at 4.2v when fully charged and gradually drop with use, but my minis are a regulated 3.7v.
  14. I just made my first ever DIY batches this evening. I brewed up a sweet tobacco blend that I call Two Rivers Tabac, and a really potent absinthe, both 80PG/20VG (my preferred blend).
  15. Mine arrived today. Very handy. By the way cpeters1965, thanks for the info...I'm sure some of the DIYers here will be looking into that kit.
  16. Dr. Arnold Levinson, Director of the University of Colorado Health Smoking Cessation Service, says vaping actually can keep people smoking instead of acting as a cessation tool. "If you’re using these devices because you think that they are safer, the evidence suggests that what they are doing is helping you keep smoking," he said. "The e-cigarettes did no better than nicotine patches in making people quit." I call bull****!
  17. I've thought a lot about opening a shop, but after you figure rent, utilities, & insurance, you have to charge way more than what people pay for the same products online, where the major expense is server time (a few bucks a month & no lease). When people see that they can get your products online for a fraction of your price, they won't be back. In today's economy, it just doesn't make much sense to have a B&M.
  18. Just bought one from Mad Vapes for $20.19 shipped using coupon code "vortex". Oh yes...you will be mine!
  19. You just gotta try 'em for yourself before you can understand why someone would pay the extra dough for 'em.
