I haven't been able to find any dealers carrying these devices. In fact, the only place I've even seen them is on a banner on SmokTech's home page.
-
I don't know the details on when these will be available, but I think they look pretty sweet from the photos.

I just picked up a 5-pack of Smok 1.7Ω Super Shorty Cartos, 25 Boge LR cartos, a Smok 510 Automatic eCig battery, and some (top secret) DIY flavoring from an undisclosed location. -
That's 9½mm total...that's kinda like just taking the cap off and huffing the top deck.
-
I think I'm gonna try one because I like how you can see what's going on with your build. I'll post here when I get it.
-
It's got dual 2mm air holes...that should do the trick, eh?
-
What I suggest to new vapers for an affordable and reliable setup is a Vision Spinner, which is relatively inexpensive and comes in a variety of sizes and finishes, a box of Boge SR (standard resistance) cartomizers, a 510 drip tip, and an eGo USB charger. All of these items are available at most reputable vape shops online, and you should be able to pick up the whole shebang for less than a carton of smokes. The Spinner is an eGo-style PV, much like your Phoenix, but it's variable voltage, which allows you to dial things up a bit if you're not getting enough vapor or flavor. It's adjustable from 3.3 - 4.8 volts, which, when maxed out and paired with a standard resistance cartomizer, should do the trick. You can get even more out of your device if you use LR low resistance cartos, but with a variable voltage device, you can burn out the carto's coil (and cost yourself a whole $1!) if you have your Spinner voltage set too high. Hope this helps.

Have any of you IGO-W users had any experience with glass (not plastic) caps?

Okay...I went with the "just enough to hold 'em" method as you suggested, and now my sub-Ω (.714Ω) dual-coil build fantasy is a reality! I went with two ~1.5Ω 7/6 29g Kanthal coils around 3.5mm silica (and a sewing needle for support), and I'm powering them with AW 2000mAh IMR 18650s (red) batteries, which are rated at 10a...close to 25 watts (12½ watts per coil) on a fresh battery! I love this thing!

Tam, I guess I've been on the sidelines a little too long...when did you start messin' around with RDAs? I thought you were strictly an HH.357 dripper-gal.
-
After using an IGO-L RDA for a while and really enjoying it, I decided to buy an IGO-W. The feature that appealed to me the most about the IGO-W was the way the coil leads get threaded through a hole in the post as opposed to around the screw, as with the IGO-L. The problem I'm having is that when I snug down the post screws on the IGO-W, the screws shear off the coil lead. What am I missing here? IGO-W with holes in posts. IGO-L with no post holes.

Q: "Do you all carry all your juices, tanks etc with you daily?" A: Inconceivable. -

I've been wondering how much e liquid is dispensed with each press of the pump. If it's not too much trouble, could you check that out when you get yours and post about it? I'm sure many here would find that info useful. Thanks. -

It's hard to know what good days should feel like if you don't have a few crappy one to compare 'em to. Chin up. -
Although I've never used an iClear X.1, I do have some experience with other (similarly-designed) BCC tanks and clearos. In just about every case I've seen, gurgling is due to e-liquid getting past the wicking material and flooding the central air flue. For some reason or another, it seems to me that the coil heads that come with the tanks are almost always prone to gurgling and leaking. The 5-packs of replacement coils usually aren't as bad as the originals, but it's really just a crap shoot with them, too. If you want to enjoy your BCC tank experience to the utmost, you're going to have to either: 1) learn how to rebuild them yourself, or 2) find someone who'll do it for you. I rebuild mine using a larger diameter wick which effectively blocks leaks into the coil housing, but isn't so tight as to inhibit juice flow. For more information on how to rebuild BCC heads (it really easy), click

Wow. Not a single bump here (besides this one) since TWD resumed after the midseason break. -

I also picked up a new quartz tank for my Hybrid Elite from Spectrum Tanks (a red one)...$14.99 shipped. I know this is sort of off topic, but does anyone know where I can find a transparent red glass 510 drip tip to match the tank? *EDIT* Nevermind...I found them at Spectrum after I've already placed my order. D'oh! -
