thedouglenz got a reaction from daleron in I Keep Returning To Analogs :-(
I've noticed so many users on here claim that they've been analog free for however many days, months or years. I wish to have a similar claim to make, but I have returned to analogs so many times since starting to vape regularly... Especially around my analog smoking friends. I can't put my finger on what it is that still draws me back. If anyone has struggled with this and overcome it, what did you do differently? Or, what gave you the ultimate motivation to stick to vaping in the end?
I would absolutely love to only vape... Everything about it is better, health-wise and even psychologically, it is more pleasing, I can be more energetic, etc. So why do you think I break down and get a pack every now and then? I get the same urge to go buy a pack that I did before I vaped whenever I was out of cigs.
Thanks for any and all tips/comments.

The absolute best, bottom line advice in the above replies is to use TOBACCO flavored E-Juice. For the life of me, I just cannot understand the flavored E-Juices -strawberry, banana, caramel, etc. Were your analogs strawberry, banana or caramel flavored? Decidedly not, so what's with the candy? What we're trying to achieve here is to safely replace that marvelous analog "hit" and my 16mg E-CIG does just that! In my 70 years of smoking, never once did I eat a Snicker's bar in place of a cigarette.

being able to use it around my asthmatic 5 year old son without feeling guilty.
saving easily $100 a month when compared to cigs (and yes that's including the price of all the hardware, and i have alot lol)
being able to run several miles at the gym without hacking a lung up
not smelling like an ashtray
knowing i'm not putting carcinogens into my body or the air around me
actually knowing the $1.00 i spent on air fresheners for my car wasn't a waste
not having to roll my window down in the rain while driving to "smoke"
not having to stand outside during the middle of winter and freeze my *** off for nicotine
think that about sums it up.

Not to take away from the topic at hand but I find it funny that so many people are concerned with the safety of ecigs. This is from both the vaping community as well as the public's view. This is my take on safety and the ecig. The bulk of electronic cigs run on lithium ion batteries. A smaller percentage run on nimh batteries. Almost all cell phones run on lithium ion batteries. I'd venture to say 90% of the population use a cell phone at least once a day. Most people use them all day everyday. I personally think that if these batteries are as dangerous as most think there would millions of accidents each day. Now, on another note. Everyone is focused on the safety of the ecig and forget where we all come from. We all came from smoking traditional tobacco smokes. These things burn down homes daily. These kill hundreds of thousands of people. I've personally have heard of one "accident" in reference to an ecig. The guy in FL who made national headlines yet could not provide the type or brand of said ecig. Sounds a little shady to me, but who asked. I think we should still use common sense when dealing with these but I don't think they are dangerous. I think driving around in my vehicle which has a 16 gallon tank of gasoline is FAR more dangerous than vaping. This is just a short OPINION of safety regarding ecigs. I don't have any background in electronics other than having used them for years. I'm not an expert in any way shape or form. This is simply my outlook on the topic. And now, with that off my chest, I've got to get back to vaping!
Happy Vaping

I love Eminem and have to crank the volume high whenever his songs play. I have him in my Rhapsody menu on my phone, and plug the stereo speakers into the phone for great sound. Even the heifers like Eminem. They hang around for hours listening to him... and run like mad whenever Lil'Wayne comes on. Don't tell Wayne that though,...
