My guess is b/c they have good marketing & packaging and they've done a good job convincing 1st time buyers to pull the trigger. Blu was my 1st ecig, and while it fell miles short on performance, I have to hand it to them for introducing me to this awesome industry. Also, i think blu owns a portion of the ecig patent which could have played a part as well.

Thanks blu, the lowest ohm cartos i have right now is the in 2 range, but I'm exploring picking up some dual coil carto's to get more throat hit and just want to make sure i'm covered. From what i understand, a 1.25 ohm DC carto is 2 x 2.5 ohm coils running parallel, so I'd essentially be covered on my 1000mah 3.7v ego passthrough. I'd still like to do some more research on it tho and understand it all better just to prevent any freak accidents. Plus a VV ego battery is inevitable, it's just a matter of time, so I want to make sure I've got this stuff down.

It's taken me nearly a month to realize there's a difference between smoktech and smoktek lol. Ok, so smoktech.com appears to be the manufacturer and only sells HUGE quantities on their site. Smoktek.com appears to be more for the individual customer, and let me point out that i could care less whether they're affiliated in any way or not. So, 2 questions: Does smoktek.com sell actual smoktech carto's? If not, where is a good place to buy them? I like my Boge's but could use a little more throat hit, so i'm curious to try a dual coil. Next question: When dealing with dual coil cartomizers, what is the correct way to calculate the resistance vs. volts? I usually use this chart to make sure i'm in the 'green' area. Do i count the resistance of one coil or both? So for example, if i were using the Smoktech 1.25 Ohm Clear Dually carto pbusardo reviewed in this video: on my ego 3.7v battery, do i count the total resistance as 1.25 ohms or 2.5 since there's 2 x 1.25 ohm coils? If it's 1.25 then by looking at the chart, i'd be in danger of blowing the carto. Thanks is advance!

Hahahaha I'm 6'3" about 260. every friend, relative, mild acquaintance ever always asks me to help them move lol. When i was in college i even helped a professor move for $100 (not as good a deal as it sounds, it took 2 full days). I'd have asked for an automatic A but his class was easy lmao. I think i've helped my brother alone move 6 or 7 times throughout the years.

To me, it really doesn't matter if it's automatic or manual, i just need great battery life. I use an ego 1000 mah and get nearly 24 hours out of it. Gimme an automatic stick that can do that and i'll use it

No matter what you pick, make sure the battery life is going to fit your needs. IMO that's the most important step to being successful. Most ppl can deal with or replace mediocre atty's/cartos/juice whatever your delivery system is. But nobody can deal w/ a battery situation that doesn't meet your needs. You'll end up starting from square 1. Just my 2 cents whenever i hear people talking about mini's. If i went back to using a mini i'd make sure i had at least 4 batteries. Maybe more.

Appreciate that Brad, and I understand that my frustration w/ the shipping time was clearly disclaimed on your website. I ordered quickly after getting my first ecig, and it was more of a 'i wanna try this out' order than a 'stock up' order. Not sure how to tell if an item is in stock in the US or not tho. Duct tape the bottle, put it in a box. Duct tape the box, put it in a safe. Duct tape the safe (....?), bury it in an underwater tank, put the tank in a closet, and duct tape the door shut. NOW it's secure. lmao

Never said don't have it in the house, but if you have something that strong i wouldn't store it in the same place you store your food & drink. If you have an office or basement maybe keep all the business stuff there as a little lab area and get a minifridge for storage. Just saying that's a bottle of poison sitting right next to your eggs & milk. I wouldn't be comfortable with that. Like Chris said, something that strong should be locked up. Really not trying to sound negative or judgemental at all, just want to make sure you realize if a severe accident like that happened once, duct tape isn't going to keep it from happening again. Duct tape may fix everything... but this is an instance i'd opt for something a little more high security lol. Happy vaping.

500mg?? I didn't even know they made liquid that strong. Glad you're ok, but some pretty no-brainer stuff could prevent an accident like this, and I don't mean to sound like i'm negatively commenting, but your 'moral of the story' is off and still isn't safe, especially if you're not the only one in the residence. Duct taping the bottle is not fixing what's wrong with this picture in my mind. 1. 500mg liquid in just unneccessary and dangerous. I understand everyones got different preferences but at that level you're begging for something bad to happen. I know nothing about DIY but if 500mg liquid is required, you shouldn't store it where people regularly go to consume food and liquids. 2. Along those lines... if you're going to refrigerate it get a minifridge or something. Who wants a bottle of poison sitting in their fridge? Duct taped or not... Gotcha, maybe I should just stick to the 306's for dripping. Twelve, i'm using the standard joyetech ones. I think it might have muted flavor b/c i've dripped 5 or 6 different flavors in it to try them out and it's maybe getting gunked up quicker than normal. Not sure.

Ok, so I usually use my 306 atty for dripping, but I've noticed it seems to kill most of the flavor of the juice. Vapor & throat hit are awesome, but I get much more full flavor out of my cartos. I've read several places that you can turn a carto into a drip atty by simply removing the filler material. The filler material is usually packed in so tight that the center air hole tube comes with it. I'm assuming thats ok, but when it comes out, it seems to pull the wire with it. Is this ok and should i just push the wire back down into the carto and drip away? I'm sure i'm being overly paranoid, but better safe than sorry! As always, thanks in advance!

From what i understand it's designed mostly for dripping, so you only put a couple drops in at a time. The one i bought from thevaporroom.com had an option for it come w/ a drip tip (what i opted for) or 5 blank cartridges, so I suppose you could essentially turn it into a carto if you had your own filler material, but I only use it for dripping and so far so good. After a couple weeks of going pic-less i decided it was time to change that. Found this pic from almost a year ago, I was growing out my beard that winter and when I shaved it, I let myself keep the fu man chu/handle bar stache for an hour or so. Heh. Whatchu guys think? Arrrrggghhhhhhhh!!!
