  1. I have a bridgeless and I don't notice a huge difference to be honest. Although I haven't really done a side by side comparison with the same juice. They both taste great I just need to work on the timing and quanitity of dripping so that i can avoid the leaking when overdripping and the burnt nasty throat hits when underdripping. I'm waiting on my eco-c VV and a couple drip sheilds to get here. usps says they're out for delivery RIGHT NOW! heh
  2. from the look of their site, their carts are a standard 510 connection, so if your battery is 510 you should be good. I haven't been in yet but I'm planning on stopping in there a little later today to sample some of their juice so i'll let you know what kind of flavors they have and how good it is. Their cartos are pretty cheap so it will be nice to have a local place to restock quick and cheap
  3. Ah yes, the filler really doesn't come very high, i think they fit tanks better more than anything, although i have yet to try one.
  4. Irish Cream, Vanilla cupcake and the Chocolate Fudge Brownie are spoken for! That leaves Watermelon, Mt.Do and Green Apple left. Any takers?
  5. ^What he said, although I have XL's and Regulars at LR 2.0 ohms and both perform great. Maybe a bad batch on the XL's Jon? Or maybe i just got lucky lol. Out of the carto's i've tried so far i like the loose draw i get w/ Boge's a lot. Especially when I'm vaping while driving for some reason, I seem to suck hard (....thats what she said....) which led to disaster and frustration on mini's or the ego-c tanks, and inconsistency on the smoktechs. Smoktech DC's still perform well for me overall, but i don't like them for on the go when i'm running around. For consistency, like Jon said Boge's are the way to go IMO.
  6. I'm past the initial hump (insert joke) of ordering an obscene amount of juices and trying out a ton of flavors to find my preferences (can't wait to try out dulcis when it gets here) I have some bottles that i'm not a huge fan of, so I thought i'd see if anyone could benefit from them. I got mostly small trial packs, so it's not much, but after my 1st failed attempt at ecigs, this forum (and the people on it) have shown me just how awesome vaping can be. I know i'm still a newb, but I know this is somthing i can stick with for long haul. All bottles have been used so they're not 100% full, but if i had to guess they're all over 90%. And they're all small, i got mostly trial packs PM me if interested and i'll get them in the mail. All bottles are from the vapor room and are 18mg and 50/50 pg/vg 6mil Irish Cream 6mil Watermelon 6mil Vanilla Cupcake 6mil Mt.Do 3mil Green Apple 15mil Chocolate fudge brownie Thought about tossin in some Gorilla Juice from AVE b/c i wasn't getting much flavor out of it in a carto but i tried dripping it and it's starting to grow on me
  7. Welcome blu Mike, i popped too lol, ordered an ego-c twist last night, i was just too curious and haven't tried VV yet. Should get it by Saturday, i'll post my thoughts after a few days
  8. Jeff, we all know I'm the true expert here... lmao
  9. Wow, impressive. That was my other beef is it took me like an hour and a half lol but as you can guess i wasn't very good at it. Kudos #1 on quitting even tho time and cost weren't issues. I'm sure your lungs are thanking you. And kudos #2 on serving our country!
  10. Good point and comparison about the RYO tobacco market. I see you were probably one of those judging by your price per pack in your signature I tried that for awhile but couldn't get the density down. The cigs were either too tight and i had to suck the you know what out of it to get a hit, or too loose and the whole thing would fall apart every time i ashed. Either way, i think we can both agree that vaping is better than either alternative
  11. Totally agree on all those points, i just mean most changes blu makes won't affect most of us, mainly b/c most of us have moved onto bigger and better things (literally lol). As a company, blu cigs has to decide what market to put most of their resources toward, and they choose to mostly focus on 1st timers, otherwise they'd have a bigger ego style battery. Instead they keep it simple with fewer products, and focus on the 'what is an ecig, how does it work, is it safe' type questions on their site. Hopefully a larger batter like an ego is in the works, i know i'd probably try it. As for ecigs being a total replacement, i couldn't agree more. While they're both nicotine products, ecigs are a totally new and unique product without all the negativity of analogs. Big tobacco sees, big tobacco likes lol. I also agree that smokelessimage could be one of the next companies to get bought out. They have a ton of solid products and accessories. Plus, like blu, they have good brand marketing and presentation.
  12. Same here mse12 and dotty, i started w/ blu, went back to analogs for a couple months. Stick with it, you've found an awesome information resource and community of ppl here that will help.
  13. Many of us have been in your shoes Dotty. As others have suggested, i'd reccomend and ego or kgo kit, but I prefer a carto setup as opposed to the tank systems most of them come with, so really all you'd need is a couple batteries if you don't want to pickup the whole kit. As for the draw, are you looking for a looser or tighter draw? If you looking for a loose airy draw, i'd go w/ boge low resistance cartomizers. If you're looking for a tighter, less airy draw, i'd go with some smoktech dual coil low resistance (1.5 ohms) cartomizers. Both perform real well. Pick up some cartos, 2 batteries, and some juice and you're all set. If you like dripping add a 306 low resistance atty or two.
  14. Use this chart to make sure your circuit is safe, and keep in mind that you are indeed assembling an electronic circuit. If you've got a dual coil carto you can prolly go lower on the resistance than what's recommended here, most think of this chart as being on the cautious side, but it's a good place to use as reference
  15. ^ditto, and yes this site looks awesome, it's the exact reason i use this site over any other forum. Most forums make my eyes bleed, this is the way a forum was MEANT to look!
  16. 1st things 1st, blu ecigs cater only to 1st time buyers and users. They really have no interest in putting out a product that caters to OUR needs and requests, and they know they don’t have a product that will make people stick with it. I have to imagine their profit margins are immensely higher on starter kits than prefilled carto packs, so they make more off those 1st time buyers. That being said there are certainly positives to be had in exposure. Keep in mind, it’s not like analogs are gonna go away and be replaced completely by ecigs. Lorillard is just adding a tool to their shed, so I don’t see drastic changes coming for quite some time. It will eventually push out some small businesses, but we live in a capitalist economy and that is fair game. I think it will only strengthen the really good businesses out there. Also any changes made will start with the mini market. Medium sized ecigs and mods IMO will go relatively unaffected for awhile, or at least we’ll be able to see what’s coming our way with any changes to the mini market. In the long term, the big question is whether or not we'll still be able to purchase eliquid in bottle form. Many speculate that will be done away with and pre-filled cartos will be the only means of acquiring them. That would certainly drive up price, however if you know DIY i can't imagine anything could stop you from making your own ejuice. As with any rules & regulations, there are always ways around it. Just my 2 cents.
  17. Ok so this isn't a vape "meet" but this seemed like the best place to post this. Also let me note that i'm not affiliate with these guys in any way, shape, or form. There's a new vape shop that just opened in Columbus, Ohio called Buckeye Vapors (http://www.buckeyevapors.com/). I live in Columbus and have been looking for a place like this for awhile, so I was very excited to find them. I haven't been to the store or tried the juice yet, but I plan on doing so this weekend and will post an update. Their online storefront is a little light on selections right now as they're just getting started, but they do have a lounge where you can hang out, vape, and try out their juices before you buy, which to me is a huge plus and vote of confidence in their product. Any vaper's in the central Ohio area should check these guys out and help spread the word for a local business that shares all of our passion for vaping!
  18. Great news Ron, so happy the surgery was successful! May many thoughts & prayers be with you for a fast, full recovery! I'm sure all this was very trying, but if there's any silver lining, at least it wasn't advanced beyond treatment, and at least it wasn't lung cancer. Glad things are looking up Cheers!
  19. And while we're on TVR, French Vanilla Coffee is quickly becoming one of my favorite juices. Much more French Vanilla than coffee, in fact i struggle to taste the coffee, but it's delicious regardless. Great on vapor & TH as well.
  20. It's one of the only juices i have that consistently satisfies my TH craving. A lot of the sweeter ones are great but can be mild on TH. One of you guys recommended it to me, prolly you blu, so thanks for that
  21. Gingers is good, I got it at 50/50 but i'd like to try 75/25 as the flavor was awesome, but i felt the throat hit was only slightly lacking. I def. like Gingers better than the normal TVR version. 555 is another one of my favs.
  22. Screw the educational anti-drug videos they show in schools, that video is all they need.
  23. Nice! If it works as advertised could be a solid device, and the price is right. If anyone pulls the trigger on one of these please post a performance review!
  24. I had trouble uploading my profile pic as well at first, i kept getting a 'file is too large' message. Being the moron that i am i took this literally to be a problem with the image size (width & height in pixels) but i think it was a problem with the file size (in killobytes) I resaved the image at a lower quality and it worked.
