Yeah i haven't had any problems since the first bad one, it was a major turn off tho since I wasted so much juice in the process. Now that i've got the hang of it tho i love 'em. Still like the vision clearos too but variety is nice.

how tall is the full size lavatube? I'd be fine w/ it being the same size as a standard ego 1000mah, but the ego-c twitst 1000mah is just too long at 4.75" Didn't realize silver bullet was 1 voltage, what does it run at?

So i think i'm ready for my 1st mod. I love my ego-c twist batt's but they are quite long and slender, and i knock them over all the time. Set 'em sideways and the just keep rollin, rollin, rollin. Obv they'd serve as a stellar backup/secondary device but i'm thinkin it may be time to pick up my 1st mod. Here's sorta what i'm lookin for 1. Vapetime - most important to me by far, i'd like i device that lasts 24 hours or more running around 4 volts 2. variable voltage - i like control, who doesn't. Don't need it to go real high tho, i usually lurk between 3.7-4.2 2. size - i prefer low profile for work, something hopefully shorter than my 1000mah ego c twist (4.75") but thicker so it doesn't fall over every time i breath on it lol 3. looks - i like the stainless steel look, but prefer a surface that isn't a fingerprint magnet. Something that'll look good w/ 5ml carto tanks, but would also like it to work with my vision v2 clearo's 4. Features - I'd like to be able to easily read the voltage and ohms, but other than that I don't care much for fancy features, error codes, and all the hoopla. I prefer simple features and a device the just works. period. I know Provari is gonna be suggested a ton but I just can't justify throwin that much cash down, and I really am not into all the extra features. I know i'd love it, and i know the device is solid. I'd like to see what else is out there. What do you all suggest, lavatube/lambo? Silver bullet? Other mod i'm not aware of? Would like to keep the device, batteries and charger at or around $100. This is also just a post to see what all else is out there that i'm not aware of yet. Thanks in advance!

A few bad parts can ruin someones experience with them. First time i tried them I can a burned carto that had horrible plastic taste, even when i prefilled it. Threw the carto away and the tank sat in my box for 2 months before i pulled it out and tried them again. Now i love 'em. They can be a pain to fill if you don't have a syringe or tool to push the carto down just the right amount, but the obvious advantage is that you only have to fill every couple days, especially if you have 2 or 3 of em.

pBusardo did a review on them, they seem to work as advertised and made of high quality materials. Take a peek at those wooden ones, beautiful! but expensive. Comparable to some of the other high end tanks out there tho. Looks like they also have some pretty cheap PV holders which i may have to pick up.

All true, but for someone looking to quit completely it would definitely make it a lot easier. Eliminating the physical addiction is a helluva start. Personally tho i'll keep my PV

Haven't had that threads problem kgo and i too have both joye ego and a kgo type battery. jenkins i think my post just needed to be pulled, it's workin great now. I was a bit nervous w/ the nail and hammer, but 2 things make it work supringsly well. 1) the prepunched hole acts as a guide for the nail. 2) i only gave it 2 or 3 light taps, by no means was i whackin the thing lol. Seemed to be just enough to enlarge the hole to a perfect size without compromising the shape of the carto and having it get stuck in the tank.

Haha i know, I even thought about it at first but was like 'nawww' that can't be it, i've never had that problem. I did just pick up a kgo battery recently tho so good to know others have that happen. Time to add a mini screwdriver to my on-the-go case. Now that it's actually worked for more than a couple hours, i really do like the VTF i get outta these DCT tanks, and filling once every couple days is a huge plus! I just give an unpowered puff every now and then and it stays saturated, even when chain vaping.

I think i go thru about 2-3mls a day, so prolly anwhere from 10-14 days, if that was the only juice i was vaping.

A flavor called 'DK Tobacco' is the closest thing i've found, it's from Buckeyevapors.com. It's really enjoyable and when analog smokers light up around me, i reach for it everytime and it satisfies. Only catch is buckeye vapors is a relatively new store so they don't have their flavors up on their site yet, so just write DK Tobacco in the comments when u check out. They've been very responsive for me when i've asked questions or emailed them.

Ok so i feel really dumb but i think i might've just needed to pull my post. Never thought that would've been it cuz i've never once had that problem on my ego batteries but i pulled it and now it's firing... for now

The nail was pretty thick, so it didn't go very deep, and since the carto was prepunched, it almost acted as a guide. I figured at worst i mighta punched through some of the filler. Even if i damaged one of the wires i'd still at least be able to hear it fire wouldnt i? The juice is 75/25 and the first carto i tried w/o enlarging the whole and it ran dry and ended up burning the filler. Don't have any problems w/ Hype which is all or mostly PG, but most of my other juices are 75/25 or 50/50. Trying to avoid picking up a punch as i've read about plenty of other problems with those. Grrrr. Hassle makes me cranky.

So i'm trying out a DCT setup to cut down on how often i have to fill my devices. Seemed to be working great, I enlarged the prepunched hole a bit with a nail and hammer, couple taps and the hole is much bigger without compromising the shape of the carto and it still fits into the tank perfectly. It was vaping like a champ and all of the sudden it stopped firing. It's 1.5 ohm dc carto, I was running it around 3.6-3.8 v on my ego-c twist and all the sudden it just stopped. Tried cranking down the voltage to 3.2 and still nothing. Other cartos work fine so it's not the bat. I tried holding the buttonf or about 5 seconds but nothing. It's a brand new carto as i just filled it yesterday. I've been taking an unpowered puff or two before i vape to ensure there's enough juice feeding in, could i have flooded it? I don't hear any gurgling... Any suggestions?

No problem Overall it's my fav. If i had to live with only 1 flavor that'd be it.

I think it almost tastes more marshmellowy lol. As they say, taste is subjective. What seems to NOT be subjective tho is that Boba's is delicious, no matter what you think it tastes like! Haven't tried that liquid from vikingvapor tho.

Sorry forgot to stop back on this post. I think it's supposed to be a melon/peach mix. To me it's just plain fruity deliciousness

Jeff i was skeptical of the V2 Clearomizers at first but now i absolutely love them. Maybe took a bit to break them in? I'm slowly using them more and more, probably will only use them soon... and right after i bought a 25 carto deal too LOL.

Steel colored 1000mah ego-c twist with stainless boge carto and stainless drip tip. It's a thing of beauty. Swap out the carto for a vision clearomizer every now and then. Those things are growing on me.
