when cutting juice, I go by this method. Mg of nic is rated by ml. So if I use 10ml of 24mg juice,I have total 240mg nic. I add 5ml of 0mg glycerine and now have a total of 15ml. So 240Tmg divided by 15ml gives me a 16mg nic rating. Seems to work for me...

After tearing apart an atty, I've come to two conclusions. First, these wonderful contraptions seem like a spark plug. When they "load up" they seem to foul. Thus, upside down with a tissue in them can clear them out. Second, being that "juice" has sugar in it and overheating an atty may happen, they tend to carmelize. When mine produce nothing but steamy vapor, I will put them in a shot glass, sprinkle a pinch of baking soda on them, fill the glass with white vinegar and soak for an hour. After this, I boil the attys for five minutes in filtered water and let dry over night. I do buy a fresh atty every month for backup.(I have a lot now) hope this helps.

Congratulations on quitting analogs, like most of us here have! Is Vaping addicting? My opinion is that of your nature. Although addicted to nicotine, I am no longer addicted to cigarettes and all of the bad stuff with them. As for vaping, I have found puffing a big monster cloud very enjoyable. I can go way longer without a vape then I could without a smoke, but if my PV is in my hand then I'm puffin'. I think it's all in your mind set.

When I first started vaping I experienced chapped lips for a week. I was using pre-filled NJOY carts. When I switched to Dekang liquid it went away. Could have been the weather change though.

I say go for it! If you have a volt meter to check the power supply, all the better. I feel the worst you can do is toast and atty. I ordered 5 batt connectors from heaven-gifts already. I work on cars for a living and this is not much different. The way I see it, power supply,switch,atty, you have vapor. now you just have to put in a nice case.

I made the mistake of thinking I could jump from 18mg down to 11mg after 2 weeks. It didn't work out too well and I went back up to 16mg for two weeks. Now after 7 weeks I am vaping happily at a custom mix at roughly 13mg. Next week I'll try 11mg again.

I'm so glad to be off analogs and there are no vapers by me, except for the ones I converted, that I like to see how all the other fellow vapers are doing. Makes me wonder, how many vapers ARE around and I don't know? Hmmmm...

When I got my first e-cig (NPRO) I was done with analogs the next day. ordered a 510, I was REALLY done. I got my son on a 510 and he still smokes a couple a day, but it's only been 3 days. (atty has to break in) I think he's relying on that instant kick from analogs though. I know soon he will switch all together. He's found a good flavor juice and that's all it takes!

That is great to see! My stepfather smokes a pipe. My mom got him to switch from analogs, but the smoke is killin her lungs. Talked to him about an e-pipe but he's stubborn. No way I'm giving up though!

Sounds like you have a nice mini arsenal now Speakeasy! I have the 510 also and know about the short batt life. That is also why I use my PT when I'm at home. I even take it with me for a backup when I go out because it seems to last 2 hours unplugged from the port.(it uses the same batt as the VP1) As for the juice, I have never tried the RY4 but I do like the Cuban Cigar from Wet Your Stick Liquids. I think his stuff is Dekang liquid. The Cigarette prices here in Michigan have jumped to 6.50 a pack(thanks to our lovely governor) and the 2 e-cigs , PassThru, carts, and liquids I have bought for myself in the past 5 weeks have only cost me a third of what I usually spend. Not only that, I can breathe better and I cut my nicotine down to about 14mg so far. Not do I only feel healthier,but now I can afford to buy health insurance! As for the exercise, start slow. As for the Russian mail order bride, make sure she comes with a Mosin Nagant or Dragonov rifle!lol

We all should try to avoid those kind of situations, but they are too much fun! I usually wait till I'm inside the gas station...
