I have no doubts that this review is a bit early. I only received this device a little over 30 hours ago. First impressions mean a lot though. I ordered this device on 7/25 and received it on 7/27. Shipping was flawless and free. Good start in my book. It was shipped in a flat rate cardboard envelope with the unit itself in bubble wrap. It came with the invoice and a printed user manual. It also comes with a small baggy containing 4 washers and two replacement brass contact screws. The unit itself has an excellent feel and weight. Heavier than my lavatube but almost an inch shorter. Very similar in diameter. The unit is two tone stainless steel. The tube is media blasted which gives a little texture but is still smooth. The end cap and button are brushed steel and are more shiny than the tube. When you receive the device the switch is already assembled but more than likely you will have to add the washers that are provided to make a solid connection. I am using AW IMR 18650's and had to use all four that came with it. Once you tweak the switch to your needs it fires perfectly every single time. Mine hasn't skipped a beat yet. One note: in the user manual it says to add the washers between the delrin spacer and the threaded part of the button. This may work for some but I had to add them between the spacer and head of the screw. Just fyi. All in all so far I'm very satisfied with this purchase in every way. This will for sure be a mechanical mod that lasts much longer than me I'm sure. It is great looking and performs just as great. I do plan on picking up a kick for it and will probably update this review at that time. Thank you for checking this review out and let's keep on vaping! -mse12

Looks pretty bushcraft(y) there blu. Nice thought though, I like.

Absolutely loving this Legacy!

Well is been months since I've bought anything except for juice. I've not purchased any hardware since a couple vivi Nova tanks back towards the start of summer. Well I may have picked up some lr 901 about a month ago, that's not important. I just ordered a Legacy by Puresmoker. It is fully mechanical. Made of stainless steel. MADE IN AMERICA. I'm ultra exited about this pv. I've been using this lavatube which was decent but after a few drops it's pretty much done. It's still working but the top cap has been super glued back on a few times and the top is now crooked and looks like crap. I plan on picking up the kick next order and then I'll be set.

don't hold me to it but I think there is about a 10 or 15 mm difference between standard and xl cartos.
-
check out the legacy by puresmoker. as soon as they are in stock I'm getting one. Fully mechanical and will also work with the kick. They look great imo. I'm all but beating my head on the wall waiting for them to be in stock again. I would love to get a precise+ but can't bring myself to pay 179. I could get a provari for that.

Hey scratch that unless you live in CA. I guess it's only sold in a brick and mortar store there. My bad.

Hey check out grimmgreen's Facebook page. I want to say I saw a pic of a fully green tank on there. Check it out I'm sure he posted what it was in the caption or comments. That came to mind when I saw this thread.

I'm stuck in my decision of which pv to go with. I'm pretty set on having an 18650 + the kick. I want to keep final price under $200. I think I am leaning very hard towards the legacy. It is fully mechanical with adjustable posts etc. That seems like the perfect pv in my mind. But then there are the industry standards like the sb. There are countless options I just want to make a wise choice. I need your inputs.

I agree blu but not such a great vape for 12 hour night shifts in a factory. One of my favorite couch vapes is a lr 901 with an empire mod drip shield. That is vape heaven. Well at least as close as I've come.

Hey viper I hear that. I have two vivi Novas and I do enjoy them. At this very moment I'm using one on my LT. The lack of flavor would be my only gripe with these. It hits great every time. 2.8 ohm at 5v = win

I hear ya mcquinn. I've only had two decent vision clearos. The first two I bought were great. After those I ordered like four more. I think one of those was doa and the others leaked like crazy. I never bothered ordering any more. I may give them another shot one of these days.

Hello all. I know this thread is forever old but wanted to update. After never selling these tanks or cartos I dug them out of my vaping stash and have succesfully been vaping one of these ressurectors for a few hours. I punched two holes with a saddle valve. I filled the carto via the "condom method". I forced it into the 6ml (because it was a TIGHT fit) and filled the tank. I will say I made one heck of a mess trying to fill it. Once it was filled and wiped down all was well. I didn't fill it with my favorite juice in fears that it would be another bust. I'm vaping it at 4.2v and it's hitting great!

Very true. I currently vape with a lavatube. I do enjoy VV but I'm at the point that I believe it is actually taking away from my vaping experience. I find myself searching for the magic number all the time and I think that 90% of it is just in my head. I just want to vape. I was thinking if I went with a kick it would be less tempting to mess with it. I may only be kidding myself but perhaps....now I just have to pick which mod to go with.

As someone who has vaped for awhile I think you are wasting time and money on all of the brands you listed. I think your best option will be to get some empty cartos and fill your own. You also should look into more standard batteries. 808 are what they recommend for stick style (ones that look like an analog). 808 is the thread style and these are sold under too many names to list. One of your current batteries may actually be an 808 but I don't know. As far as how far does juice go it's up to the person. A standard carto will hold around 1ml and that will last however long depending on how you vape. Good luck just don't get overwhelmed. There is a lot to learn but just take baby steps.

Hello all. I'm in the market for a new mod and I'm wondering how I can regulate voltage on a non VV unit. I think my only option will be something along the lines of the kick by evolv. I'm wanting a big battery mod along the lines of a SB, omega, precise, bombshell, etc. Any insight?

New To Vaping Have Some Questions, Might Not Be The Right Forum.

I have vaped full time since mid March. My first few weeks were similar to what you are experiencing with the shortness of breath. I started off using a juice that was much more PG than VG. After a few days I was thinking I had an allergy to the PG so I ordered juice that was 100% VG. The VG juice did improve my immediate symptoms for the time being. The shortness of breath and tightness in my chest did ease with this new juice. I vaped for probably the first month or two on 100% VG juices. I later decided to give PG juices another go and have been perfectly fine with them since. I currently vape a mixture of PG & VG. I like the heavier VG for vapor production as well as the inherent sweetness that the VG provides. I typically vape a 50/50 blend which I enjoy but I am perfectly fine vaping at 80/20 PG/VG. I hope this helps. I'm sure many of the issues you have are not related to vaping at all but the few that are should be manageable with the right juice and knowledge. No matter what you should not jeopardize your well being for vaping. I firmly agree that vaping is a much better option than traditional tobacco but your health is more important than any possible benefits that vaping will provide. If you vape but have to go to the hospital afterwards have you really helped anything? Just food for thought. Good luck and I think you should be able to determine if your juice is a factor with a simple test of pg vs vg. If one relieves symptoms stick with it. Don't give vaping up but don't let it make your health any worse than it already is. Happy Vaping! -
I feel left out of the carto circle. lol I'm carto challenged. I've never gotten a decent vape without flooding and headaches! I guess I will stick to dripping and clearos.
-
Its hard to say. As long as yours arent leaking or flooding all should be well.
-
I was never able to vape these without flooding...like crazy. I use both the phoenix bottom coils and a vivi tank. I have two dct's sitting in the vape box collecting dust. It would be a last ditch effort to pull them out. That is just my experience. I was never able to vape these without flooding...like crazy. I use both the phoenix bottom coils and a vivi tank. When Is Enough Enough? Ny Attempting Ban On Ecigs.

Perhaps they care a small amount and could care less than that depending on the circumstances. -
Hello all. So for the last month maybe two I've been vaping with a lavatube. Well tonight at work I've managed to break it. It isn't completely destroyed but the top cap that was sealed broke off. It is being held by only the two connection wires...not cool. I need a more durable mod. This one did take a nice fall to break but I need something that won't fall apart when or if dropped. Tonight the LT fell out of my hand bounced off a steel beam and onto the concrete. I expected my vivi tank to break but its not even scratched. I need something thats well made. Something that will take an 18650. Any suggestions will be great. VV would be nice but not essential.

I don't have any to trade but the 510's that I do have are GREAT! I've had only one dud out of the 15 I've got. They work extremely well. Good luck if all else fails get an adapter.
