  1. I think you would be better off speaking with your doctor vs a forum for health information such as that. What is good for your body may be different than what's good for mine, etc. I personally am not comfortable giving anyone healthcare advice as I'm not trained in any way shape or form. I know that I smoked for for like 8-9 years and I feel better vaping than I ever did smoking. I also know that I smoked the entire time I was in the Marine Corps and I still ran too many miles to count even when I was smoking. Everyone is different. Good luck regardless. I'm not bashing on you I just think you should consult your doctor if you are concerned.
  2. I wouldn't say it's completely harmless. You are still breathing in chemicals which the regular person is not. Now with that being said, I fully agree with everyone above stating that this is indeed a drastic improvement over traditional tobacco smokes. IMO the worst aspect of vaping is the nicotine which is known to increase blood pressure and heart rate. Even still, yet again it is a great alternative compared to tobacco. So to answer your question no vaping is not COMPLETELY harmless although it is much better for you than smoking anything you light. Just my $.02. Good luck with your test. Make sure you're giving your body the rest it needs and drink plenty of water.
  3. What vendor(s) carry these? After a quick google I found a site called kindneypuncher.com ...lol never heard of them before. You think I would be better off with a SS mesh wick vs a silica? I've never rebuilt any type of atty but I'm sure I can do it. I'm semi-techy lol if that's even a word which I doubt.
  4. also electronicstix has the mvp for $5 cheaper...just fyi
  5. Hey blu, thought I would come back and say I'm sure the mvp is a fine device. I was actually pretty interested in it myself but I'm personally just not thrilled with box mods. A tube mod is much more comfortable for me. Either way I'm sure you'll be happy. I don't think the mvp would be any better than your provari mini unless you are just looking for battery life. I just got a vamo and i'm pretty pleased with it. I mean it's a $48 mod...and you get the quality of a $48 mod. Mine works great but build quality leaves plenty to be desired. Just my 2 cents.
  6. Chris I don't know how you are going to manage all this feedback...lol with that being said I primarily use tapatalk so I have no suggestions. Good luck though.
  7. So, I'm thinking of trying my hand at a rebuildable delivery system. My problem is that I'm lost as to which style or one to go with. I need info and advice about your experiences with rebuildables. I'm looking for a unit that costs around $50 or less. I'm not getting the best of the best just to learn and try out. I know with the limited budget I will most likely be getting into a clone of some sorts which is fine but I don't want to just throw my money away on something that you know doesn't work. Any and all input is very welcome and appreciated. Thanks! -mse12
  8. I bought mine from electronicstix and it is working great. Minimal to no rattle at all.
  9. I purchased the VAMO from electronicstix.com they are out of Utah I think. Mine works great and they have gun metal or regular chrome. I say go for it. The price is great.
  10. If I had to guess they would be referring to variable power. Better known as variable wattage. Just my guess.
  11. I have been using boge 2.0s lately. I use them inside tanks that I get from Valley Vapes. The tanks are dirt cheap and work flawlessly. They use rubber grommets instead of end caps which I absolutely love. They are perfect. They have a side fill hole which I know everyone wouldn't like but for my style of vaping it's the best thing I've found. I also just picked up a five pack of boge fusions that are rated at 2.0 ohms and while they work good I'm not liking the huge gap they make using a shorty 510 adapter.
  12. I picked up a VAMO from electronicstix and have zero issues with the batteries. I'm using AW IMR 18650s as well as flat top mystery 18650s. I love this thing. Has anyone else had a problem with the middle tube coming off? The middle tube is just pressed onto the head and when I received mine it was tilted to one side. I freaked out thinking it was broke. I actually wiggled it off and pressed it back as hard as I could. No problems since then. I may be the only one.
  13. I agree with Jeff...I think another site may be what you're looking for. Have fun.
  14. @mcquinn that my good sir would be the ivape...lol
  15. Works well via tapatalk. I mainly browse on my Samsung Android 3g. No complaints here.
  16. Knowing my experiences with bottom feed clearos my very first thought was yay twice the leaking!
  17. Pink spot by Pink Spot, Guerilla juice by AVE, Gingers RY4 by the vapor room...my top three. Also my pink spot usually gets some menthol with it...
  18. I think a mod is any device that leans away from the normal stick batteries. I.e. box mods big battery mods etc. that's just my opinion though.
  19. Good idea kitsune with the 5 separate devices....I actually only own 5 batteries so I guess I could pull that off as well...I always have at least two usually 3 at any point. Today my failure came from both a vivi nova and a dct. The vivi started leaking and resulted in a mouthful of menthol. The dct was being setup with a new carto when I apparently caught the inner o-ring on the top cap and it broke to pieces. Frustrating day...I had been doing so well. I'm really almost over the whole vivi nova thing. They work great when they want to but I've been having more and more leaking and general blah experiences from them. I've got two and I think they are both about to land in the trashcan here in the next few weeks at the rate they're going currently. Who knows, tomorrow's another day. My 901 seems like it will never fail me though. lol I will now have one die in the next hour after saying that though.
  20. So today has been a vaping fail...I know we have all had the moments where nothing wants to work or work correctly. I truly have a love hate relationship with vaping. When it works it is the best thing ever invented. When it doesn't I want to throw it all away and bash my head into a brick wall. Maybe this is just me. Perhaps not. Having vaped for almost a year now I know this is just a phase that will soon pass. I have had these times in the past and they can last a couple hours to a couple weeks. I hope this is just a one day thing. At the moment I'm dripping on a 901 and it at least is working...lol there is a small light at the end of this head bashing tunnel of vaping failure. Keep your head up and keep on vaping...by any means necessary.
  21. I know they will get their money back without question. My family is healthy but kids are just kids they have to go to the Dr at some point. I was in the USMC for four years. I would be in today had I not messed up my right foot. They stop caring about you when they feel you're not up to par. That's another story all together though.
  22. I'm covered through the VA. I have a wife and two children that are losing the coverage. I know they will qualify for our state medicaid which may be our best bet for the three years I'm in school. I hate taking handouts in any fashion but I will probably bite the bullet and take it for now. I've worked and paid taxes for the last ten years so I think it will be ok. Once I get out of school I should in theory make double what I currently make. I'm sure they will get their money back plus much more.
  23. Just really frustrated. I am planning on starting college soon using my gi bill from the military. I think this economy is going to force me to do it sooner than later. The only drawback to that plan is losing health insurance. We'll see. I can make decent money while in school but it would not be possible to maintain the full time job that I currently work do to rotating night schedule. Thank you all for the encouragement.
