IMR batteries are LiMn which is a safer chemistry than Li-ion....the c ratings represent the max discharge rate. I think 20C is overkill but that's just my opinion.

Well if you look at the ihybrid for example it is a unit that is designed to be used in only one way. Most of our mods have a certain connection that allows us to plug in anything with that size connection. A hybrid can not use anything else but what was made with it. I don't know if that means they don't come apart or what. I don't have one. I just know that you can't slap on any ol' 510 atty onto a hybrid and expect it to work. I hope that helps some. I don't know of too many hybrids myself but lord knows there plenty I'm sure. I know of the ihybrid and I think zen makes one too.

I had two smoktech carto tanks that had the same thing. I now use carto tanks that don't use end caps but instead use grommets. I love them! Zero leaking and stronger than the cheap dct caps. I don't know what it is/was. On mine it seemed to be somewhat waxy. Maybe a byproduct of heating the rings up? I don't know.

So I've been vaping now for almost one year! Yay, now I want to start mixing my own juice. I have no supplies other than a ton of empty bottles. I vape 50/50 mix at 12mg and am very pleased with that as a potential starting point. First off what supplies can I source locally vs online. I want to pick up what I can locally. Second what physical supplies do I need as in graduated cylinders etc? Lastly where do you prefer to buy your nic base and flavorings? I want to start on the small scale until I get it right so I don't need gallons upon gallons of stuff. I've got rba's down for the most part so this is the final step for me to be self sufficient. I think 90% of any addiction is mental. This is why ppl will fully detox physically and turn around and od the next week/month. Humans are strange like that. I don't get it. I know that 12mg nic leaves me satisfied so I guess that's what counts.

Sounds like my father on law. He's 50, been smoking at least 35 years. He has copd, and broken his back twice. He lives on long term disability in a one bed camper. I bought him ecigs after hearing a sob story about he needs to just give up the analogs blah blah blah. That was about a year ago or so and he is still smoking pall mall ultra lights. His starter kit probably wound up in his garbage can. The one or two hits I ever saw him take on it looked like he was dying his cough was so hard. I think he just wasn't willing to give up the smokes to begin with. Good luck to your friend.
