You can get into something along those lines much cheaper than $65...just saying. Look into volt or bloog. I personally would never drop that much on mini batteries like that. I've been down that long painful road almost 3 years ago when I first bought a blu starter kit at over $100...needless to say it didn't work for me. I vaped it for about 6 months before returning to analogs for about 2 years...an ego setup got me back to vaping full time and that was almost a year ago. Welcome to VT by the way! Whatever keeps you off analogs is the best kit in the world. Just my 2c.

Don't own one but I've been eyeballing a black one for about 6 months...lol haven't been able to pull the trigger on one yet. I've bought two other variable voltage/wattage mods and I'm about 150% sure had I just bought the Provari to start with I wouldn't have bothered with the others. Just my 2c.

Have you heard any specific sizes? lol I've bought two separate "multi-packs" and none would allow the lid to close. I guess just too thick. They fit the diameter but the rings themselves were too thick... oh well, the search continues.

I tried watching Rick's video awhile back when I was first building the aga-s and I got pissed due to the horrible audio quality. Sounded like his girl kept a finger over the microphone hole...pretty girl but he should have just opted for a tripod! Haha...off topic, sorry.

That's a sexy rig you got there! I would just take my bombshell stinger minus the kick. I would also take the igo-l dripper atty because it is simply the easiest to set up and keep a great vape. Supplies I'd need would be minimal. Silica wick, kanthal, a bic lighter, and a mini screwdriver. As far as juice it would probably be Ginger's RY4 or Pink Spot. I only say minus the kick because it destroys battery life. Give me the stinger with two 26650's and I could vape about 4 days before I need to even think about charging.

McQuinn hit the nail on the head. I would look into getting some boge 2.0ohm cartomizers. They are the easiest and best solution for a typical ego/510 battery. Also the kanger MT3's work great. My wife uses ego batteries and sticks to either the kanger or the mini vivi nova. You have MANY options here. Happy hunting!

I have a hard time paying more than like $6-8 for any drip tip...I definitely think that $30 is steep. I'll have to keep rocking my cheap SS. Aluminum tips can also be nice. I really love derlin mings but I've broken too many plastic tips.

Uma, I was wrong about the aga-s's tank not coming off! I had this thing almost two weeks before I realized that there is actually another whole threaded section at the bottom of the tank!!! HA! There is NO seam where it attaches and I had no idea it even came apart! I went to unscrew it the other day and it actually started coming apart at that seam. I thought it was broke until I realized there are threads and another o-ring. I just wanted to let you know. The tank sleeve itself does in fact come off of the base. Still loving it minus the whole top o-ring thing.

Hey Rixter, that first video that Uma linked to, the JC West tutorial is spot on. I just setup my AGA-T2 almost exactly the way he did in the video and I couldn't be happier. My wick is fully oxidized unlike his but that is simply because I already had it oxidized fully. This method he shows is perfect IMO.

Well, I worked the last two nights so this evening I was able to get my AGA-T2 going. This is working like a charm for now. I wrapped the coil free hand with 32ga kanthal. I shortened the wick that I started with and rolled it tighter. I have the wick almost as close as I can without touching the positive post. This allowed me to work out the blasted hotspots. So far this is vaping like a dream. The flavor seems more full than the aga-s but I don't think by much. This is an easy win in my book for the money. I have it currently set up with the glass tank and have zero leaking as of yet. I have pics so here we go!

Wrapping a coil 101: This is just my experience of wrapping coils. I am a new RBA user at this point. So take this step with a grain of salt. I also highly recommend a few hours dedicated to watching YouTube videos. Now then, at this point you should be ready to wrap your coil. By now you have cleaned your device, oxidized your wick, as well as annealed your wire. There are many ways to do this. Here are some very generic guidelines: 1. Your coil should be snug on your wick but: (A) not digging in aka too tight or ( no large gaps between the coil and wick aka too loose. 2. You should be able to remove your wick after the coil is wrapped but it should not fall out on its own. 3. You want all coil wraps evenly spaced. 4. You probably don't want to remove excess wire until you are sure the coil is performing like you want. 5. Once wrapped you need to fire the coil by itself, no wick, with rapid sort bursts to make sure that all wraps glow evenly. This also gives the coil more strength. Now to wrap. I've used two methods so far. Free hand and a drill bit. Free hand is simple. Once your wick is in the hole just start at the base. You will need to hold one end down with your finger while bringing the wire around the negative screw and wick. Hold a little tension on the wire as you screw down the negative. This will free up that hand. Now I just wrap the coil on the wick going counter clockwise up the wick. Depending on whatever gauge your using determines your wraps. With 32 I make 4 or 5 giving a 1.4 to 1.7 ohm coil. Once you're at the top I wrap it around the positive post and run the nut down. After your top nut is down space the coils evenly. To use a drill bit find whatever size fits into the wickhole. You will want the biggest that will go into it. Now just wrap your wire around the smooth part of the bit. Your wrap count should be the same. Once its wrapped insert the bit into the wick hole threads down. Attach your positive and negative. Voila here's your coil. Wrapping a good coil is far from getting an rba running well. I can wrap a beautiful coil all day long but if you are covered in hotspots you may as well have no coil. I hope this helps someone and this part of the build is much easier shown in video or pictures vs written text. Happy vaping!

True story. Lol, it will only glow as long as the flame is applied. There is very little to no heat retention once the flame is off of it.

Annealing is about the most straight forward aspect of the build process after the cleaning. Annealing is simply the heat treatment of the kanthal to allow easier use of the wire. All wire that we use is wrapped around a spool. Anyone who has ever messed with any wire knows that wire has "memory" and that it will try to maintain that shape of the spool. Your entire goal with this step is to straighten and soften the wire to allow you, the end user, to wrap it without the memory effect. To anneal my kanthal I simply cut a section of wire typically around 4-5". Once the piece is cut I simply take a regular lighter and slowly heat it until it glows. As you do this you will physically see the wire relax as the flame heats it. Once you've heated the wire just run it through your thumb and index finger to straighten it out. At this point any memory the wire previously had is gone. You are now ready to wrap your coil. I now will pass the rba torch back to Uma for the coil wrapping step. I could try but as I'm still a fairly new rba user I will let her take it from here! Happy vaping!

Welcome. I don't know if you're looking for a vendor or for mixing your own but I really like pink spot for fruity flavors. They are a little more than some others bit the juice is really nice IMO. There are sure to be many more vendors with good fruit flavors but this one jumps out in my mind.
