  1. I do have my moments where it's like a pacifier... But I take so many flavors because I might have a taste for something different at morning break than I do at lunch time or while I'm sitting at my desk.
  2. I'd love to find a mainstay... just can't seem to settle.
  3. Now I've heard that VG doesn't give a good TH so I've been going with 80% PG. So on average what's a good mix of PG/VG to be thick enough yet still give a TH?
  4. Ok good to know. So now I just need to work on narrowing down my flavors. the fridge? I don't keep mine in the fridge... I guess I should look that up tomorrow at work.
  5. So as part of my nightly routine I get all my vaping stuff put together for the next day. Fresh battery, put the one I've been using on the charger. Fill up my CE2 and CE4's and pack my case. This is where I think I've got an issue... the case. I take 1 pv that holds a 14500 for stealth vaping at work. Then I have my 18650 pv for break, lunch, driving, etc. (much better performance than the smaller one) But then I have 6 CE2's and 2 CE4's each with a different flavor. Enigma (quicknicjuice) French Toast (quicknicjuice) RY4 (quicknicjuice) Vanilla Custard (quicknicjuice) Cinnamon Roll (quicnicjuice) Juicy Peach (sweet-vapes) Vanilla Bean (volcano) Sweet Fission (atomicvapors) Does anyone else walk around with a selection of juice that would rival the selections of a vending machine, or am I just.... "Special"??
  6. Hmmm.... those holes are way bigger than what I punched... which could help explain why I didn't get good juice flow. On the other side - I guess I don't understand how I flooded carts with holes so much smaller than that....
  7. So I came across this while cleaning out my email box... it was included in the Totally Wicked e-News Letter dated April 11th. http://tobaccoanalysis.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/fda-guidance-on-modified-risk-tobacco.html What happened to the land of the free???
  8. I'm actually really happy with my newest acquisition: 18650 mechanical copper tube mod with a raised 510 connector. The only things that I'd change are - I prefer the button on my VV to the mechanical option that I have now. And I'm a HUGE fan of gun metal gray. So instead of the black with custom Chicago Cubs graphic - I'd like a sleek gun metal gray. Speaking of... if anyone has come across a gun metal gray mod, other than the Empire - please let me know. I'm using CE2's... but hoping that the Vision Ego Clearomizer gives a better experience. Still searching for a "dreamy" juice delivery system....
  9. Now that'd be badass! Too bad I'm completely skill-less in areas such as these.
  10. I'm not so patiently waiting for this to be in stock...
  11. I had juice defender for a while - great app. The only reason I got rid of it is because I do a lot of camping and even with JD my battery life wasn't making it. I started using the mobile widget that comes standard on HTC phones and now keep my data turned off unless I'm going to use it. Now when I'm out camping I can get 4 days of standby time, granted that's with almost no phone usage. As for apps - mint.com - for budgeting and keeping personal finances in check. Groupme - it's a group text messaging app. Great for when you're trying to plan something or out and about with a group of people. You send 1 txt message and it goes to everyone in the group. Any responses you get will also go to the group.
  12. Sweet-Vapes offers "Colored Carto Bands" but they're out of stock... http://www.sweet-vap...&category_id=27 At least from the picture they look similar to the multi-color hair rubber bands that you can get from walmart. http://www.walmart.c...-500ct/19758198 Totally missed that part - sorry bams
  13. Dejavu - thanks for starting this discussion - I was going to ask the same question to expand my horizons a bit. I'm a fan of sweet-vapes... especially the maple. The other thing I really like about them is that you can add extra flavor if you want. Also one that I didn't see listed is http://www.quicknicjuice.com. I reviewed a few of their flavors here: I'm a sucker for the personal touch and my orders from both places have come with hand written thank you's.
  14. I'm with ya in terms of buying American, but only when the product is at least as good as what I can get from overseas. In terms of their clearomizers, they just don't make the grade for me. That said - I did also pickup a bottle of their Menthol Burst for a few co-workers to try and they totally loved it. So That will be something that gets ordered now by 3 people on a regular basis.
  15. I played with a Roughstack last weekend at a local meet. The thing that I noticed right away way how weak the button felt, it wiggles around when you press it. To quote a friend of mine... I'm a "desk jockey" and felt that I'd have issues with the button on it - there's no way I'd trust it in the hands (or pocket) of a construction worker.
  16. Thanks Kitsune. If I remember right those are 510 with a skirt. And if those are the ones that I'm thinking of - I've looked at them. The new mod that I'll have on Monday was offered with a raised 510 connector so that I can use those without an adapter. Which I decided to go with since I'm still looking for a good setup... the more options the better!
  17. Glad you weren't hurt. That's something that never would have crossed my mind - thanks for the heads up.
  18. A couple of those I think would really cool with the graphic on the device. But as you said at $7 each - I'll get a couple for nights out, local meets and for Cubs games... but def. not worth the cost for everyday. Thanks Jeff!
  19. One drop at a time is not going to get you very far on a cartomizer (which based on your picture looks like you have). Here's a quick video on how to fill a carto. Hope this helps! Stick with it - I know it can get frustrating - but once you get it down you'll be golden!
  20. Ok - so I'm probably being a bit too picky but.... here goes. I'm getting a new mod made this weekend by a friend of mine and she's putting the picture below on the outside. What I'd really like are some standard cartomizers that are either red or blue - I'll probably use a drip tip of the opposite color. All that I've been able to find are blue CE3's and Red or Blue CE4's. Since tanks and I don't get along very well... either standard cartos or even red or blue CE2's would be the preference.
  21. Your post made me laugh! It brought be back to the nights (that I sometimes still have) when I'm swearing at my PV, or the juice running down the side of it. I couldn't agree more with you about buying sample sizes of juice. Thankfully that's something I've always done - and over a month later I finally purchased my first 30mil bottle.
  22. So last weekend we had a couple of big meets in the area, vapebash and vapefest - I ended up at both of them. I tried out more juice than I can tell you but one company had some juice that really stood out above the rest. http://www.quicknicjuice.com The 4 that I really liked from them are: Enigma - This is really a hard flavor to describe... kinda fruity, kinda caramelly, kinda nutty, There's also a mentholesque coolness to it. I'm not sure what flavors actually make this up as its like nothing I've previously tasted... it's just really really good and my new all day vape. I ordered a 30mil bottle of this the other day. It came in one of the glass bottles with the dropper and an empty 6mil bottle so you can take it on the go. Chocolate Glazed Donut - This doesn't taste as much like Chocolate Glazed Donut as it does the Chocolate, Chocolate frosted donut from Dunkin'. I ended up taking a sample bottle of this home with me from VF, again a huge winner. I vaped that sample bottle dry in about 2 days. French Toast - I was vaping this at mom's house tonight and she walked in the room and asked why it smelled like French Toast. It actually tasted like french toast too! It's not layers of flavors that create something that resembles french toast... it's actually french toast. The vanilla batter dipped bread, the maple syrup and even the powdered sugar. French Toast - just like mom used to make! Smarty Pants - This is supposed to taste like the smarties candy... and it really does. If you like sweet juices than this is a must try. Personally I wouldn't buy this more than 6mil at a time. I just really don't have a huge need for sweet juices like this - it will never be my all day vape. But it is a flavor that I'll keep on hand. The other thing that made this company stand out was the strawberry juice I got as a sample from VF. I'm not much for fruit flavors... but I ended up with 3 different bottles of strawberry juice last weekend from 3 different vendors. Two of the Three have already hit the trash can, they had VERY little flavor and the flavor that they did have was... well... not good. the stuff from quicknic has almost a strawberry jolly rancher kinda taste to it. It is fruity and really not my cup of tea - but definitely not offensive like the other ones. I'll keep this bottle on hand for trading. That said - if you like fruit flavored juices, then odds are you'll like this one. Couple of other notes - This is a married couple that creates and sell this juice. I had a chance to meet and chat with them last weekend and they really seem like nice people. I'm big into customer service and the little things really stand out for me. So when I got my order and the packing list had a hand written "thank you" from Rich on it... as a vendor they go into a different category. I've gotten orders from other places that couldn't even be bothered to have "thank you" printed on the packing list.... just sayin'
  23. Thanks everyone - Didn't mean to appear as if I was ignoring life's been CRAZYNESS lately! Just an update - I picked up some new carto's for the tanks... enlarged the holes a bit and still have the same problem. I've decided (begrudgingly) to put the tanks away for now... tho my stubborn side will end up back at em... no doubt. Just going to do more research before I start dumping more cash into em. I did get the CE2's working pretty well. I remove all the innards and rebuild them all as soon as they come so that I have them ready to go when I need them. They're working out 100% better - but that still only makes them a C+... I know there's got to be better options. I spent all last week dripping.... best vapor and flavor... but what a pain in the hind quarter! Volcano was in town last weekend for VapeBash and VapeFest... I purchased what I thought were CE2's from them to find out they were some shoddy knock off (a more expensive shoddy knock off at that)... didn't leave a very good taste in my mouth (literally or figuratively) on the company as a whole. But if you guys are happy with their tanks I'll keep that in mind when I get back to wrestling tanks Now that I have a set up providing a good experience... I'm having a lot of fun with the learning curves. Even rebuilding the CE2's is almost enjoyable. Flavor Tests.... Good Lord! I tasted an uncountable number of juices last weekend at VP & VF.... I've ordered 2 more sample packs of new flavors since! I think the VT signatures need to be re-worded to "Money not spent on cigarettes" Cuz I've surely not saved a dime! LOL One of my co-workers makes her own mods... pretty simple - copper pipe/mechanical switch... I've been borrowing one from her that fits a 14500... I just ordered one from her yesterday for an 18650. The kick is on my "to research list" so that size will allow for it with a 18500 battery That will be Mod #2... and I'm stalking a mod from a local guy that's gonna be on cigtechs.com - the "Shockwave". Forums, Vaporcast and GrimmGreen... OH MY! I have at least one vaping related window open every time I sit down to the PC... My boss threatened to setup an intervention....
