  1. Thanks Guys! I can deal with some unpredictability, just not the crap cartos that I got this time from Madvapes that last MAYBE 2 days.
  2. I was using the vision clearoizers and I was happy with them overall. My only issue with them is more an issue with me.... it's not uncommon for my PV to hit the ground (a bit clumsy at time ) and they would start to get stress cracks where the tank met the base. So they'd only last about a week before the juice would start to leak out from the cracks.
  3. For those of you that use tanks, where do you get your replacement cartos? I ordered 5 replacement cartos from Madvapes less than 2 weeks ago and I have one left. 2 have flooded and 1 broke apart where the tube connects to the connector. So I need to order more cartos - but a lot of the places that I looked don't share the brand... which makes me worry that I'm going to buy the same ones that Madvapes carries.
  4. Dayna at sweet-vapes is great and pays attention to your orders. I screwed up an order, ordering a sample at 24mg and a larger bottle at 0mg. She sent the larger bottle at 24mg too. So when you're ordering - if you change the size of the bottle after you selected the strength, you'll have to select the strength again or you'll be ordering 0mg.
  5. So I have to give these things a bit more credit. I made a post about how I fell asleep and my PV ended up under me and engaged. It was engaged long enough for the whole tube to be hot and I'm assuming that battery protection kicked in (that thing was HOT). After it cooled I vaped using the Vision that was on it the whole time and there is absolutely no difference in performance. Fires like a champ without a burning taste. I've never gotten a burning taste from these like I have everything else I've tried... and for it to have been firing for long enough for my whole mod to be hot (not warm, hot) without effecting its performance... that to me is a great product! The only issue is that it's a bit more difficult to get the tip in an out now... it got a bit deformed due to the heat.
  6. Oh I guess I should add... a testament to the Vision clearomizer... even with it burning long and hot enough for the hard tip to be deformed I don't have any issues it. No burned taste, still fires like it did on day one. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to give the same kinda credit to the CE2's I was using before this.
  7. So I had my first battery issue tonight - and it was entirely my fault. I fell asleep watching TV, when I woke up and went to find my PV it was under me and HOTT! not like burn you hot... but still really hot - I was asleep for about an hour and a half and it was engaged for a while. Up until tonight I've never noticed my PV even get warm and I'm a heavy vaper. It was so hot that the portion of the hard tip on the Vision ego clearomizer that is inside the tank is now deformed. It ended up taking a good 10 minutes or so for the PV to cool down to normal where I felt that it was safe to vape. This is a single 18650 in a tube mod - since I don't stack batteries I never really went out of my way to get protected batteries. The fact that my batteries are protected isn't for any reason other than that was all the vendor I purchased them from sold. However - after tonight I have a different opinion. In fact the batteries that came with my VV tube that a friend is using are unprotected. I've already ordered new protected batteries for him to use so that I can get rid of the unprotected ones. Not really sure what a battery explosion/overheat looks like... but given the fact that I was laying on it... it would have caused some damage for sure!
  8. It's SOOO true! I've been at this for only 2 months and have 3 mods and 2 cigarette style.... the Buzz will be #4. I've spent SOO much more money since I started vaping than I did when I was smoking I don't even want to think about it! LOL But the buzz is it!! No more Mods till my birthday!!
  9. I have a Bolt and a VV Tube out on loan to a couple friends of mine and I've been using a mod that a friend made for me. The problem is this one's mechanical and I'm really missing the push button. SOO I've decided it's time to buy a new push button mod and am wondering what you guys can suggest - staying under $150.
  10. I was getting the burnt flavor too until I started operating on them before I filled em. The plug that has the filling holes ends up blocking the juice from wicking, especially on thicker juices. I take out the 3rd plug, double the size of the string holes, then reassemble. Between the larger openings for the strings and the fact that I put the plug back in a bit higher than where it was originally; they wick WAY better and no burnt taste.
  11. I hear ya - CE2's are now my second choice behind the Vison Ego Clearomizers... I may start tinkering to see if I can work out a good syringe/CE2 tank mod. I can't imagine that it'd be too difficult modifying current tank mod practices with the innards of a CE2 or even a CE3. Just some trial and error....
  12. I saw that review, but the good reviews out numbered the bad so I gave it a shot and I REALLY wanted them to be good. But all my wanting only resulted in learning that Lemon Lime Slushy juice tastes more like Lemon Lime Slushy than Chocolate Glazed Donut juice tastes like a Chocolate Glazed Donut.... LOL
  13. I got these hoping for the convenience of a high volume tank without all the drama that tanks have been for me. After 6 hours of using them I can safely say that I'll never use them again. I've seen these at a few places around the net: http://www.litecigusa.net/Vision_Stone_Tank_O_Mizer_V3_p/510stonetank.htm http://www.madvapes.com/Vision-5ml-20-Ohm-Stone-Tank-Clearomizer_p_3561.html I ordered 3. One of them arrived DOA and the other two worked like champs... for about an hour or two.... They gurgle, they force you to drink as much juice as you vape, they're very poorly constructed. As I mentioned in another thread tonight I'm a clumsy person... I dropped my PV once with one of these things on it and it was bent at the connection to the side. I was able to straighten it back - but that's the first time I've had that happen when I dropped my PV (not an Uncommon occurrence). For me at $9.00 each - they should be better than what they are. Overall - not impressed and would recommend against them.
  14. I've been using these for about 2 weeks I guess. The only problem that I've had is I'm clumsy as $%*# and after a few drops one of the tanks started to crack near the base - COMPLETELY my fault. I just painted over it with some super glue and it's good to go. In a perfect world different color tips would be available on the clear ones so I can keep my flavors straight. By far my favorite option.
  15. I guess I should have said public place.... I have a couple friends and family members (lifelong non-smokers) that are so excited that I gave up analogs that they were almost disappointed when I didn't just start vaping in their house. My aunt especially - she's extremely sensitive to smoke and the first time I went to her house she had me vape inside. She said she needed to be around it so that she knew if it really was better than smoking or just what I'd been telling her to get her off my back. The vapor didn't bother her a bit and she's completely fine with my vaping in her house. My roommate is another one - he was fine with my smoking so long as it was outside. He doesn't care at all that I vape inside.
